I started listening to Shandon's podcasts last year and found them very clear and interesting. i usually followed them with the transcript in English which helped a lot. Since then I have started weekly lessons with Shandon which have been excellent. The lessons have been tailored to my requirements and Shandon is very good and producing an informal yet structured lesson. If you want to learn Spanish it's definitely worth giving Shandon a try. I'm very pleased I did!

I highly recommend Shandon to anyone looking to learn Spanish. He is patient and kind, creating an environment where you never feel embarrassed about making mistakes or asking questions. He is very clear and thorough. Shandon offers a wide variety of resources, such as his podcast, reading exercises, and film/TV recommendations, which keeps learning engaging and effective. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my lessons with him, and I learn something new every week!

I’ve been listening to the podcasts for a while now. I find them engaging, entertaining and educating. I do like that Shandon doesn’t speak too fast which helps learners like me to capture the words without losing the meaning of the full sentence structure. I would very much recommend adding this to your Spanish learning materials.

I would highly recommend Let's Talk Spanish as a top platform of choice for learning Spanish. Shandon is an amazing teacher and a natural at explaining concepts and structure in an understandable and fun manner.

Much of my confidence in speaking Spanish today is because of how Shandon runs each session - he encourages and consolidates my learning with practice, examples and teaching.

The Let's Talk Spanish platform also shares a wealth of information to students, in written form, podcasts,
videos and meet-ups.

I am not based in England and using Google Meet for my lessons has been super easy.

I would recommend anyone who wants to improve their Spanish to listen to the let’s talk Spanish podcasts . I have followed Shandon for a couple of years on Spotify and find the podcasts very well structured , engaging and interesting .

What can I say about Shandon? The guy is a natural born teacher. He is kind, patient, funny and knows how to get the best of his students. I would recommend Shanon as a Spanish instructor/teacher.

I've only recently started having classes with Shandon to help work on my conversational skills & I've had a great time learning! I've always been nervous speaking and am conscious of making mistakes but I'm always encouraged to just speak then we work through mistakes together or different ways to say things. The conversation is able to flow really well like how you would speak to native Spanish speakers. Shandon's provided sooo many great resources as well so I can keep practising in between lessons. Would definitely recommend whatever level you're at.

Language mistakes what makes that you learn it the wrong way!

For example: the time 3.45 should be: cuatro menos cuarto

(not according to me but according to several spanish people and learning books)

Shandon has been my tutor for about 6 months, I think. I have extended my sessions for the remainder of the year because of how helpful I've found the lessons. I have lots of Spanish speaking friends and language partners, but the value Shandon brings is his ability to explain various concepts in a way that just makes sense. He allows you to think of meanings and grammar concepts in a way that just clicks. Often times, having these "aha" moments are the only thing pushing me to continue on this LONG language learning journey. Plus Shandon's company has soooo many free resources such as the podcast (the full transcripts), the YouTube channel, the weekly meet-ups and the online resources for ESpeak students. He truly cares about every student - I highly recommend ESpeak if you are considering getting a tutor for Spanish.

I’m currently on my third going on fourth lesson with Shandon and i genuinely can say i look forward every week to my lessons regardless if I’ve had a busy day\week at work. Shandon is an amazing teacher he provides great online content and resources which is easy to access but also keeps you connected. The lessons i have had so far I always come away having learned something new. Shandon teaches at your level but pushes you which has given me a lot of confidence. Espeak is a great platform and a safe space i would highly recommend.

I have been having Spanish lessons for some months and I’ve seen a huge improvement in my speaking and listening skills as well as my ability to construct sentences correctly. Shandon is a great teacher, he’s flexible around my timetable and provides so much online learning material and resources not to mention the regular YouTube and Instagram videos! I would highly recommend ESpeak to anyone wanting to learn or improve their Spanish!

I have been learning Spanish with ESpeak for about 2 years now and I am so glad that I started because Shandon has helped me lots with not only learning how to improve my Spanish but also how to speak it confidently, as well as reading and writing complex Spanish.
Thanks to ESpeak I also managed to achieve a grade 8 (A*) in my Spanish GCSE which I am so thankful for!

I had a very basic level of Spanish when I started with Shandon, and over the course of 11 weeks I was more or less able to form constructive sentences together, the classes were very productive and each week I would come away from the lessons learning something new. The resources that Shandon provided to me via the Espeak Web page have been an excellent way of studying outside of lesson time . A very good platform to learn and continue to learn Spanish:). ESpeak is a wonderful platform that has allowed me to gain and improve my Spanish knowledge over the past 8 months. As a student and a worker, learning a language is an overwhelming process. Shandon has provided me with a safe and kind space to openly learn and go at my own pace. I am very happy with my experience!

The learning experience is relaxed but we manage to cover a variety of topics during each lesson.

I have had 4 lessons so far and am extremely happy with how everything is going. In our first lesson, my teacher was able to gauge where I was at very quickly, and I felt like I was learning new things right away. I feel pretty lucky to have stumbled across this platform, and wish I would have started sooner because I was really feeling like I had kind of plateaued on my own and felt overwhelmed trying to figure out what direction I needed to go in to improve. But my teacher was immediately able to pick up exactly where I needed to start going next to keep learning, and focused right away on my personal learning goals... the whole setup is pretty impressive and I’m very happy. The lessons are challenging enough to keep pushing me forward, but not so overwhelming to be discouraging. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get serious about learning Spanish!

ESpeak has been a great experience for me. Extremely friendly tutors and comprehensive learning. It's an innovative approach to learning that makes the most of the technological tools available.

I have been having regular online lessons and am really enjoying them! The teacher is lovely, very knowledgable and super accommodating in tailoring the lesson for my level and makes me feel comfortable. I have learnt a great deal and can't wait to learn more! Would 10/10 recommend!
