I have been with Espeak for 4 weeks and am having 2 lessons a week, my tutor Alex is fantastic, he is patient and great at explaining clearly when I ask questions. I recommend Espeak for anyone wanting to learn Spanish, it is the best course I have done and look forward to my lessons.

I found out about Espeak via Instagram. I’ve always wanted to learn Spanish, however, after completing my Spanish GCSE almost 10 years ago, I haven’t done much to further my learning... With all the extra time lockdown has given us I decided there was no real excuse anymore! So far I’ve had 3 lessons with Shandon and they’ve been great. Shandon is a very patient teacher, he is kind and I don’t feel nervous about making mistakes with him. He is willing to answer all of my questions and cater to my learning style! ESpeak has been tutoring my 12 year old in Spanish for the last month. My child looks forward to the sessions and I am impressed with the way the tutor encourages and engages learning through my child's interests. My child is now more confident and interested in the subject. I would recommend.

I came across ESpeak on Instagram and booked in my first Spanish lesson straight away with Shandon. I’m so glad I did! From there, I knew I wanted to further my learning with ESpeak - the lessons are really well structured and the tips/tricks Shandon gives are super helpful. The lessons are also flexible to fit around you which is a great plus for me. I’m only 3 weeks in but feel I have learnt so much already!! I’m so excited to see how the next few months go!

I really enjoy having these Spanish lessons. In such a small time I have learnt so much. Shandon is very polite and has a good teaching style with plenty of patience. I would recommend this service to anybody.

I'm as impressed with Shandon's patience as I am with his knowledge of Spanish and his ability with technology, which is an essential part of online learning. I'm from a conventional classroom background, and - ideally - would have preferred to have continued on that path; but in this newer world of lockdown, this is a good way to progress. Above all, he's encouraging. Who knows? Will i want to return to a draughty classroom when this is over, or perhaps continue via Skype? Tempting!

I'm a beginner level student and really enjoying my 1:1 lessons with Shandon. He is a very patient teacher and provides a comfortable learning environment for students. Shandon is very engaging and I feel very comfortable testing my Spanish speaking skills with him.
It's so nice that Shandon provides students with podcasts and transcripts to continue learning outside the classroom. I really enjoy the Beginner's Corner series. I recommend lessons with Shandon and the podcast series for any Spanish level.

Shandon is a great teacher. As an older adult beginner in Spanish I was unsure how I would get on, but I have been delighted with my progress so far. Lessons are tailored to my individual requirements and speed of learning. Shandon explains everything clearly and ensures I have understood and can pronounce everything before moving on. He is very patient and the lessons are very relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Shandon gives really excellent lessons, he adapts very quickly to the level you’re at and what you need to work on. As an adult learner who is mainly focused on improving my speaking, this is the best way for me to improve my Spanish. I highly recommend ESpeak to anyone who wants to improve their conversational Spanish for real life situations!

I’ve been having lessons with Shandon & he shows great patience for even the beginner like me , has good techniques to help you pronounce words correctly & understanding of how difficult it is to begin with.

My daughter has been using ESpeak to help brush up her Spanish for Year11. She's enjoyed the lessons and has improved her pronunciation. The tutors are very flexible which helps nowdays with our ever changing schedules. Thanks ESpeak xxx
