Amazing from start to finish. Ski Esprit answered all of our queries swiftly before our holiday and the presence of staff in the resort meant any queries were answered there and then. The child care was outstanding, we took 6 children aged from 4 years to 12 years and all loved both their lessons and the snow club. The staff looking after them were amazing and made our children’s time in the snow even more fun. Can not wait to book again for next year!

Absolutely number 1 for families! We thought our holiday was really well organised, we were given good information throughout our stay, the accommodation was great and the staff were brilliant. Our trip definitely exceeded our expectations. We have two young children, aged 1 and 2 and they both loved the nursery which was within the accommodation so very convenient. They were taken up the mountain on the gondola to the top where they had picnics, they rode the busses, they saw animals and we felt they had a great time while being well cared for. We got to have proper days out snowboarding, had great food provided and had access to the bar too!
We are already looking to book again with Esprit next year!
some issues around transfers due to the weather on our ski trip. communication was somewhat chaotic. other than that we received the usual excellent service from esprit. I would recommend Esprit for a familty ski holiday without reservation
Fantastic child friendly holiday with Esprit to St Anton. I was a little concerned about what to expect with the nursery based childcare, but I was overwhelmed with the number of staff and their professionalism. My little girl loves it and was taken out and about every day. This meant we got to relax and enjoy the slopes with confidence that she was safe and happy. Thank you
We just arrived home after a fantastic week in Belle Plagne. The hotel was wonderful, the pool brilliant, food great and childcare spot-on, but the star in Esprit's crown has to be the staff. Nothing was too much bother and every single member of staff went out of their way to be helpful and beyond. They really were a joy to be around and really made our stay.
The hotel in Belle Plagne was really good (rooms are much bigger than normal too) and the childcare staff were excellent. We had several issues with the reps who were either badly trained or just not right for their roles. Lift passes ordered through them firstly didn't work (their responsibility) and were then programmed for too few days. Each time it took hours of valuable skiing time to resolve the problem. They never confirmed with us when lessons had been booked. We had to chase them. Sometimes this took an unreasonably long time. Both perfectly nice people but just did not have the ability to provide these services effectively.
We also struggled with our son's beginner lessons with ESF which didn't leave a very small snow garden all week despite there being other safe more fun options nearby. I think it was largely down to ineffective teaching and a language barrier. The snow garden at Bellcote and last year at Meribel are much bigger and make skiing much more fun for little ones even if they don't progress out of the garden.
Esprit nursery was large and fantastic for our youngest son. Could not fault it at all.
Although we had a few slight issues with certain reservations for Dinner and a massage, overall our stay was very enjoyable and the staff made every effort to make our stay an enjoyable one. Highly recommend Esprit Ski for a great family holiday.
This was our first holiday with esprit, we have 3 children aged 10, 8 and 6 and it couldn’t have been any easier! Esprit took care of ski school, afternoon snow club catered for all ages and high tea was lovely. We used coco club 4 out of the 5 evenings and the children thoroughly enjoyed it all. This left us as adults with complete peace of mind and enabled us to enjoy a weeks skiing without a worry in the world! We will most certainly be booking again!!
Unfortunately Esprit Ski didn't live up to all recommendations we were given.
Stayed in Belle Plagne, hotel & location all good but we just felt really let down by the service (from some), plus their ability to look after a 6 month old.

We have just spent a week at Chalet Hotel Mariandre, Alpe d'Huez and had a fantastic time. We were travelling as 2 adults and 3 children aged 2, 6 and 7. Staff were fantastic at making us feel welcome.
Childcare was first rate. 2 of my children have severe food allergies and the management teams were on the ball for awareness and training for allergies and are epipen-trained which was very reassuring.
Kids going to ski school and snow club really enjoyed the program and games, especially with the snow rangers (thanks Ellie).
Evenings were very relaxing as the kids were in the room with the staff listening service and we had lovely dinners with delicious food and great vegetarian options.
Would recommend this holiday to anyone with kids.

Our toddlers benefited enormously from the enthusiasm of the reps and group activities.
The view when we walked into our chalet was what told us we'd made the right decision! Our children had the best of times and so did we! Our chalet hosts and snow rangers couldn't have done more to help whilst being discrete. They learnt so fast, taking the lead from us in the first few days then just morphing into what the children needed. Yes staff are young but then they've kinda gotta be!
Practically, adult meals could be late for some but we had no 'meanness' with wine and portions size perfect. We needed a later dinner after the lovely cake at teatime. Chalet was warm, especially when the fire was going and clean, yes not brand new and shinny but then wasn't expecting that and hot water was always there.
Three things we wrote on our feedback form were needed: teapot, bath mats, pint glasses ;)
Sunny side of the mountain it maybe billed as but not during our stay - biggest snow storm in 25 years with snow predicted to stay until Easter! We still managed to ski everyday and children's classes happened too. Fabulous instructors; both our 4 and 5 year old, who had Spritelet lessons and their first time skiing, were snow ploughing down the nursery slope on Saturday morning.
We booked everything through Esprit and were so glad everything was just taken care of and the deal was great. The only thing we did not book through Esprit was private ski lessons for me (mum, unconfident (used to be!) on blue runs). I've always had ESF instructors so stuck with them for me and that was fine and quite easy to arrange in resort. Although on busy weeks you might want to do that in advance.
I do suggest that you think through quite clearly what your family want from your holiday. In another four years our children will be too old for snow club and hopefully, I will be good enough to ski with them all afternoon. They might want down time in the afternoon to go to Cocoa Club in the evening, which they only managed once this time. And this will define how we ski en famillie - our next big challenge.
Of course on that mid week emotional ski day not everything was rosie but in context nothing ruined our holiday, nothing was a show stopper, or has left a bitter taste in the mouth. Yes we would have liked more sun, less tired children (hey we had taken two with a combined age of 9 skiing for the first time, double hey, we were on holiday with two children!) and sometime you just want your neighbours to be a bit quieter at 10pm but I would have not doubts about investing my hard earnt holiday spends with Esprit again or recommending them to another family. Happy Skiing :)
Had a great holiday in Gressoney-la-Trinite with Esprit. From the off they were excellent: helping with our bag off the coach; smooth booking in at reception; clean, tidy hotel and rooms. Food and service was very good too. Our little boy enjoyed a the child care services offered and loved learning to ski (as did we, especially the listening service in the evening). We would definitely recommend and book again with Esprit!!
Childcare is excellent. Food is of a high standard. Whilst not always the most modern of interiors the accommodation is clean and fulfils all your needs for a ski holiday.
We filed more detailed feedback already on our last day in the chalet.
Sadly our family were all disappointed in the service and quality. We have been happyily holidaying with Esprit for many years but we feel that this last holiday will be our last through the company.

just got back from staying in Belle Plagne, we had a brilliant holiday.
All the hotel staff were excellent, they were all so friendly and could not do enough for people.
Our two young boys had a fantastic time with the child care givers who did an amazing job looking after them making them feel at home.
The baby listening service from 1930 to 2230 worked out really well for us and topped off the holiday for us. The young chap on our floor had such a good manner, he did an amazing job.
The food and bar service was excellent. It was all great.
We will definitely be booking again with you and would recommend you to anyone looking for a family ski holiday.

Fantastic family ski company, really happy with the childcare and the choice of chalets available. The chalets themselves are all of a decent standard and the set up for helping get your little ones skiing from a young age is super.
