Christ is risen!
I ordered two books from the Monastery of St John the Baptist in Essex and I’m absolutely delighted! The ordering process was smooth, the delivery was very fast—even from the UK to Germany—and the books were beautifully packaged. I will definitely order from them again.

I am so happy to have discovered Monastry of St. John the Baptist. They have an excellent selection of publications and I was very pleased with the speed of delivery. Furthermore, the book was carefully and lovingly wrapped which made the books arrival feel like a gift to myself. I bought Christ, Our Way and Our Life. Thank you to everyone at this monastry for the important work you do.

Excellent and immediate service - received book two days after order.

I have now ordered books twice from the Orthodox Monastery of St John the Baptist in Essex, and both experiences have been excellent.

The service is consistently reliable and thoughtful—orders are processed promptly, carefully packaged, and arrive in perfect condition. It’s clear that great care and attention go into every step.

The quality of the books themselves is outstanding. The selection is deeply enriching, offering authentic and spiritually nourishing Orthodox Christian resources that are not always easy to find elsewhere.

What makes this even more meaningful is knowing that you are supporting a living monastic community. There is a sense of integrity, devotion, and quiet dedication behind everything they offer.

I highly recommend their bookstore to anyone seeking genuine Christian spiritual works. I will certainly continue to order from them and am grateful for the work they do.

These books are beautiful, and are now the most treasured in my collection. They arrived in perfect condition, having been packaged with great care. They will both be read as attentively as possible, and with as much gratitude as I am able! Thank you so much 🙏

Consistently high quality binding, paper, print, packaging and book content.

My order was processed quickly and I was alerted when it was shipped. It arrived in good shape and well-packaged. The Divine Liturgy Book is elegantly printed and bound--fitting look for these profound services.

My book came very quickly and was of a very high quality. I would recommend others to purchase from here!

I purchased “The Orthodox Liturgy” Beautifully produced, high quality paper and an amazing translation for an Anglican like me. The Bible references make this both a study and practical edition.
Great service.
Can’t wait for a reprint of their Book of the Hours.

Amazing service and incredible collection of books offered on their website!

The shipment went out quickly and was very thoughtfully packaged.
