**SEE REFUND UPDATE BELOW**
May 11, 2021:
"This is a scam. I am sorry to say that I paid them more than $4,000 for classes that I never received due to problems with the schedule. Then, when I cancelled, in writing, to get back the money I paid for classes not used as it said in their own contract, they said my cancellation was "never received" and I was denied a refund. I have been sending emails since October 2019 about this. It's really, really unbelievable."
**REFUND UPDATE 5/21/21**
May 21, 2021: "Within 10 days of posting this Trustpilot review, this issue has finally been resolved, after more than 85 emails and phone calls over 2 years (which I know because I started writing them down after the third call back in 2019 did not resolve the issue).
**In the end, I paid $4,114, received 10 group lessons and 8 private lessons, and got $2,541 refunded.**
This was because of all of the cancellation penalties as outlined in their contract (20%, about $800) and the legitimate charges for the 18 lessons (about $750). Thank you."

The teacher explains everything very well. We learn a lot in each lesson and it is very practical.
Instructors for the Biblical Hebrew A-E are amazing: extremely knowledgable and very happy to share their knowledge with you. 99% of the students in these classes are Christians not looking to convert to Judaism.
eTeacher’s customer service is appalling. If you find a problem with billing then good luck! Technical problems abound and nobody in tech support picks up the phone in time for the issues to be resolved before your class starts.
You will surely get someone from ‘customer services’ to pick up the phone and give you the “warm and fuzzies”, but it will prove impossible to actually reach anyone who has any real authority save for their ability to offer you 25% ‘discounts’ on future classes “in recognition of the issues suffered” or to change your teacher or the course/programme.
I felt like every attempt to resolve a problem was met with a sales pitch- because (I am told) that customer service telephone overflow was reverting to the sales department.
Caveat emptor: There will be no recourse after the sale is completed. Beware that they are demanding to be paid upfront without you knowing what you are buying. If/when things go wrong then you cannot demand to be made whole in cash. There are very heavy cancellation fees. You will find you have no way out and no way to hold them to account financially. However, eTeacher has shown a willingness to apply the monies you have paid towards the cost of a different course.
In sum, you will find high quality instruction, but not without a few headaches administratively.

We are so happy that we found this academy, i like the classes , the teacher is very good thanks Ms Robin ( hope that i wrote it right) she is very supporting and very nice she always explains in a good way i can ask a question a thousand times and she would still be happy to answer me .
My son is idected to technology.
This course is a positive idection part of his life . I am so glad about it
Very pleased with the courses especially the Language courses, awesome. The geography course that I have just completed was excellent. Looking forward to Hebrew C
It's so good from the respect of the teacher to her open mindness I just completely fall in love with the whole class
This school has good e-lessons with many teaching resources available. The price is not cheap but I enjoyed the lessons. At the same time, it looks like it is a large organization with many sales people as well, so my suggestion is that do not easily accept their sales offer, but consider well since they have high cancellation fee may be charged on you without your agreement. And if there will be any support needed or issues about admin/finance, please directly contact their manager, whose name and email address is provided in the reply by him called Adam, who is actually willing to help (as this is an updated review, due to the fact that I had quite an issue for over a month, and had to handle it with many international calls with repeated conversations with the service lines and receive random calls by different people without being helped, finally it was easily resolved in two days via their manager)!
This is an updated version afterwards. And I have improved the review score based mainly on the lessons they provided, and the improved attitude/attention especially from their manager directly.

I am really enjoying the course - I can actually read portions of the Torah and understand it now and I know I still have a fair way to go but that is so satisfying. I think it will be good to "grade" the courses from casual learner to serious learner so people are prepared for the amount of effort and committment required to do the courses.
I had problem with my Biblical Hebrew course. I have been calling customer service and there was a misunderstanding between me and the customer service agents. Finally, Mr. Jeremy Lalush personally called me and assisted me to resolve the problem and I am very glad that he did it and also promised me to handle if there will be any issue with the course. I am very glad.
A billing dispute I had with Eteacher was handled within an hour of posting a review of the company. At the time of that discussion with the company, the representative agreed to refund the amount in dispute and to set up a different billing arrangement.
The amount in dispute was credited to my charge card within 3 days of our discussion.
I am happy with the company's response. I feel that they are sincerely committed to providing good and reputable services to their customers.
The lessons themselves are well structured and I feel that the teachers are committed to teaching. My suggestion though is that the teachers be given more training in teaching techniques. Teacher foreign language is not an easy discipline.

Excellent teachers who know how to pitch the level of each lesson to the ability of the students while at the same time making the lessons challenging and engaging. I always leave the lesson feeling I've made progress with learning Hebrew.
I'm loving this course in Biblical Hebrew. At first I was struggling with webinars and joining the classes, but I was given technical support straight away, and now the problems are solved thanks to the help you offered. The teachers are very knowledggeable and I love to learn the things I'm learning, It is not too difficult and I always look forward to the next lesson, I am thoroughly enjoying my lessons, and would recomend the Hebrew Bilical studies to everyone that wishes to increase their knowledge of Biblical studies. It is an excellent and exciting study, and very inspiring which stirs my curiosity to eagerly learn more. The price is well worth the teaching given, and I love to join the webinars.... Thank you
Good pace of the course, there is a time to recap lessons. Sigal is extremely helpful.
I have completed two courses, am now taking two more, while repeating one course. Your approach to Hebrew from the Jewish perspective has been a blessing. The Biblical geography class is fascinating. The course that focused on key figures in Genesis was provocative and well presented. Having read and studied the lives of those figures throughout my life, I did not expect the course to be so fresh and enlightening. Your program has balanced Hebrew language insights and literary enhancements well.
The day I made my mind up to connect with you, was the best move I've every made.
The courses are well put together, teachers are simply fantastic. I would certainly
recommend Israel's Institute of Biblical studies.
