Much hyped sonic toothbrush which worked well on the teeth but after just five weeks stopped charging. Reading elsewhere online it seems that this is not an uncommon problem.

After I received this, within a couple of months, the base burnt out, so I contacted customer services, who said they would replace it which they did.
However, they asked me to send the broken base back to them and enclosed an SAE to Ireland.
Unfortunately, the Post Office couldn’t accept it as it was an Irish stamp, and I’m in the uk , so I had to fork out £9 for the pleasure of sending it back.
Three weeks later, I get the SAME parcel back as , apparently, it “could not be delivered” for whatever reason.
So, I threw that in the bin and carried on using the replacement base.
However, the charge, unlike when I first had the brush, only lasts about three days maximum before I need to charge it again, so it’s completely useless for taking it away on holidays, which was the sole reason for buying it in the first place.
Big disappointment and a total waste of money.

I had the Sonic Pro Toothbrush. The first one I ordered had a fault and was promptly replaced for free by the customer service team. I was very happy with the product and went to order replacement toothbrush heads online when I found out the new shipping policy has removed the Netherlands from the free EU shipping.
This means every order incurs an extra €18 of shipping making it now way more expensive… so now I am going to be buying an alternative toothbrush that is more affordable.

Terrible customer service. I have had so many products from this company, I have put family and friends on to so many products. Even just last year they gave me free products for glowing reviews I personally gave them, I was an avid supporter and thought I’d finally found the perfect products for my oral routine. Unfortunately I’ve had numerous issues with my water flosser, I have been trying to contact them via telephone for a week and every time it says no one is available, I got in touch via email and they requested I send evidence of my water flosser being broken, I sent them a video of this and have not received a response. I’ve sent numerous follow up emails and am just ignored every single time. This is incredibly frustrating as I’m now left with no water flosser and an £80 whole in my pocket. Extremely disappointing and I reluctantly will no longer be purchasing any products from them.

I ordered a Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush for my son in October 2024. Unfortunately there seemed to be an issue with the charger in July 2025. I emailed the company on the 16th of July. I received an immediate response acknowledging the issue and offering to replace it asap. We received a new toothbrush only two days later. This is an amazing example of customer service from Suzanne and the team. We love the products and have had no issues apart from this. Now, knowing how supportive their customer service is, I won't hesitate to buy more products from this company. Thank you again.

Bought this after reading a Telegraph review and wish I hadn’t. I’m on a replacement brush after the first one had to be charged every three days or so. The replacement is appalling. The speed is variable with an incredibly slow start which either speeds up or continues at a snail’s pace. If you’re looking for a toothbrush that is up to the job of cleaning teeth, look elsewhere because this isn’t in the least bit up to it.

I came across Spotlight Oral Care when shopping for a new toothbrush. It came up as one of the top products on various lists so I purchased one.
I was really pleased with the functionality and overall design of the one I bought but fairly quickly I noticed that the battery life was pretty bad and after charging it for around 8 hours the battery would only last a few days before abruptly not turning on. I felt disappointed and frustrated as this wasn't a cheap purchase. Anyway, long story short I reached out to their customer support and explained the situation, sent a photo and a video of it and I was sent a replacement straight away. I'm not sure if I have an older model as the one I was sent seems slightly updated.
So people saying the customer support is bad. I disagree. Just make sure you purchase directly from the company I'd say. Let's just hope this battery is better!
