One of the worst customer service experiences

One of the worst customer experiences ever in a bank. I called the "customer service" line and I talked with a lady called "Anastasopoulou", who replied.

She was rude and rushing to hung up the phone, not to mention that it was the first time ever in a customer service call that the customer was never asked at the end of the call if they need further assistunce with something else. Of course she did not provide any solution to an extremely simple request I made. Dissapointing.

Please work on your support agents. We can all change banks and move our money elsewhere if you cannot help us adequately at any given time.

Stay away

Stay away! In the competition for which bank is the worst, although often harsh and ruthless just like the banks themselves, it wins easily. Avoid it by every possible means!

very poor experience

I have ordered and gotten approved for a credit card and have been waiting for over 2 weeks for it to arrive and it still hasnt arrived and now the things i wanted to buy are all out of stock. Thanks.

One of the worst banks

One of the worst banks! Double charges on cards that, if you don’t notice them yourself, your money will never be refunded. Complete lack of communication and sheer incompetence in customer service — chaos, to say the least.

A very good experience.

Opened a simple debit card bank account almost two years ago to receive my salary and to be honest, never had a single problem.

Card given immediately and zero costs, good e-banking.

Never tried their customer support simply because I have never needed it.

I am English recently moved to Volos

I am English recently moved to Volos. After collecting all required documents and closed an appointment for a new account at branch I was told that I couldn't open an account because; (listen to this) I HAVE TO APPLY TO NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE FIRST! Huh? Nothing I can do she said! After reading all the negative reviews I decided she did me a favour.

Non existent customer services

I have an old bank account with them and as i am living in the UK i tried to call their so called 'customer services' line. This goes to an automated machine that simply always hangs up on you saying check our website or 'i do not understand'. It is impossible to get through to someone. I then booked three, not one, telephone appointments with the bank and all three times noone called. They even have the nerve to say in their website that if you had an appointment and noone called pls call us on the main customer services number..... Absolutely appaling!!

My father had a bank account at the bank. When he died, the bank never gave his money back.
It was very difficult to have a paper only to know how much there was on the account.
Don't open an account on this bank !!!

DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH EUROBANK.

I have been banking in various countries before, but never experienced such a sorry excuse of a bank.
They don't give creditcard to foreigners, although living in Greece, regardless of income or financial status. This means I cannot rely on my Eurobank account and am forced to keep using my foreign accounts.
They block debit cards without any warning or information, you have to find out when trying to pay somewhere. Then you need to call customer service for an.explantion, after waiting in line for at least 15 minutes. Solution given: go to the nearest branch and get a new card. However when at the bank, they can't help without an appointment which you have to make online...

This bank offers no service at all. Avoid.

Customer service in the solari branch…

Customer service in the solari branch Corfu is absolutely appalling ,there is a woman in there who is so rude !!! I went to open an account but walked out because of her rudeness and she was so unprofessional,and after reading other reviews I'm not the only person to say this !!! She shouldn't be working if she dislikes her job so much !!

Been with them around 5 years

Been with them around 5 years, and they have problems all around. Terrible e-banking app, terrible service at the offices and the worst customer support call center I've ever had to deal with. I've had other episodes that made me want to consider a change but I never bothered I've had issues with other banks as well and didn't have time for another hassle. After today, I'm done and I'm leaving this bank permanently.

For the past two weeks I've been calling once a day, every business day, just to know why a payment didn't go through, simple, right?

I was told their "system" was down on the majority of those calls. Got hung up on a couple of times, got transferred and then hung up on another few times.

Today was the final straw, 51 minutes total on the phone, spoke with 3 different agents got 0 answers.

First, I got transferred while put on hold, probably by mistake. The second time I was transferred because, apparently, I needed another department (after wasting my time for at least 15 minutes). After waiting another 15 minutes for that departement, in merely 10 seconds, the agent considered it was still not the correct department and transferred me again. The lack of respect of these people is beyond comprehension. As someone who worked in a call center before, I know how frustrating this job can be but nothing justifies this consistent type of behaviour.

I closed the call after that and I will be changing banks next week.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Excellent service

I was incredibly impressed by the service I received at the Kolonaki patriarchy Olin by one specific individual. Foteini was helpful, smiley and incredibly efficient. Very impressed and also surprised.

Sudden Subscription fees

Suddenly noticed different "subscription packages" ,made by eurobank, draining on both of my accounts. Tried to close them and had to book two different appointments to do so...
If you ever need a con-artist as your bank this is it.
