PROHIBITED ITEMS: DOUBLE CHECK

I wanted to ship gold watch and called costumer service to ask will shipping be provided by DHL. Their agent said most probably exspress delivery will be made by DHL in Croatia and then advised me to book shipping and in case of another service provider I can easily cancel shipping and get full refund.

Long story short, it was DHL but Eurosender in the list of prohibited items have gold watch and they informed me shipping can't be made and refund doesn't include shippping insurance I've payed. Also they have 30 days for refunding rest of payment.

1. Next day I went to DHL and shipped watch with insurance normally
2. Refund takes up to 30 days and you won't get insurance money back in any case if you cancel.
3. When you get advised by their agent double check it because they won't advise you good.
4. MOST IMPORTANT, before shipping check prohibited items by opening each collumns to see in details all items prohibited. Basicaly everything is prohibited and out of their responsibility in case something happens to your package. DOUBLE check all in details, they will take 40€-50€ easily, but piece of paper is what they can really insure.

In conclusion companies they cooperate with have much more flexibility so it makes no sense to cooperate with Eurosender.

1. Prohibited Items and Insurance
While individual carriers like DHL may have specific internal policies for their own direct customers, Eurosender operates as a freight forwarder with consolidated contracts. To maintain our competitive rates, we must adhere to a strict list of prohibited items across our network. Gold and precious jewelry are standard exclusions in the shipping industry for standard and express services unless handled via specialized high-value logistics. Because the item was prohibited by our terms, the insurance provider cannot cover the shipment; therefore, the insurance fee is non-refundable as the service cannot be activated for a restricted good.

2. Agent Advice and Cancellations
Our agents provide guidance based on the likelihood of courier assignment (such as DHL in Croatia). However, the responsibility to verify the Terms and Conditions and the Prohibited Items list remains with the shipper before booking. This list is made clearly available on our website to ensure all users are aware of what can and cannot be safely transported.

3. Refund Policy
Our refund processing time of up to 30 days is a standard administrative period required to finalize the cancellation with the carrier and process the transaction through our financial department. Regarding the "full refund," our policy states that refunds are subject to our terms, which exclude non-refundable add-ons like insurance once a restricted item is involved.

4. The Value of Eurosender
We provide a platform that bridges the gap between individual shippers and major global couriers at discounted rates. While direct carriers may offer different flexibility for individual walk-in shipments, our service is designed for standard goods that fit within our logistics network's safety and security parameters.

We regret that we could not accommodate your specific shipment on this occasion, but these rules are in place to protect the integrity of the shipping network and our customers' assets.

My parcel was never collected after…

My parcel was never collected after more than a week waiting and several attemps to reschedule. It feels like no one cares. And when I asked to be reimbursed, they said they would but will charge me 20% for the courier (who never came!). Unacceptable.

According to our records and the information provided by the courier, the failed collection attempts were not due to a lack of service, but because the parcel and the shipping label were not ready when the driver arrived at the address.

When a courier performs a route and arrives at a pickup location only to find the shipment unprepared, the service is still considered "attempted." The fee you mentioned is a standard administrative charge to cover the costs incurred by the carrier for these attempted visits.

We aim to be as fair as possible, but we must also account for the logistical resources deployed for each scheduled attempt. We are happy to review your case one more time if you can provide confirmation that the parcel was indeed ready and labeled during the scheduled windows.

Affordable with helpful customer support

They were affordable and helpful in a disputed charge with FedEx. Milica was great, she helped me through the multiple month process of dispute.

My largest gripe is that the additional charges were reported to me weeks aver the delivery -- making it less likely for the customer to still have the sealed box to weigh and measure.
