Worst camera men in the world!!!! TOTALLY USELESS. I take better videos on my phone, and somehow they got a contract for broadcasting rights on olympics? Disgraceful.

I actually watch the Olympics cycling with the sound off. C.K. drives me to distraction with his "OOHs" and his "ERMMs" - bad enough with the grand tours (thank goodness for ITV4) but this too. Add that to his giggling at is own voice and the constant "there ya go" - enough! Please don't tell me he'll be at the Le Mans 24 hour race!
Would you believe it.... We have another "C.K. type!" Le Mans commentator who giggles at his own voice, making crass comments/jokes.... Is it a prerequisite for Eurosport commentators to irritate it's customers....
Perhaps you make so much money from advertising that you don't give a s**t about us subscribers! Argh!

This player is lying to its customers. I was watching the replay of Olympic weightlifting: Men's +109kg and the Eurosport player only had coverage of Group B and not Group A. I don't know why they don't show both groups but if I cannot have full access to the coverage why am I paying for this service. This is rubbish and ridiculous. They seem to be only looking for profit.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!! I thought 6.99 was going to be value for money to watch the different sports at my convenience. NOT SO! The app feels like it has been thrown together with no testing and is really buggy.
Regarding the coverage, if you can find your sport and get it to stream the commentators are second rate at best and that is if there is any sound at all. Unfortunately Eurosport has proved itself to be miles behind the other media providers. They are certainly not good enough to have a so called elite event like the Olympics! I will definitely not bother paying for Eurosport again and will not be recommending it to anyone else.

Terrible coverage, adverts played over the sports so parts are missed out, some parts seem to be missing for no reason, awful commentry. A collossal failure for olympics coverage.

Subscribed via Amazon Prime to watch the equestrian sport at the olympics . Wish i had not bothered , coverage awful . Just bits and pieces and no individual qualifier for the jumping was shown ( and its the same for team jumping ) . Hard to find stuff as well , waste of £6.99

I paid money to watch the sports climbing replays however it just says technical error and they will not even play. I will now try to cancel and I will also be asking for a refund (though doubtful I'll get it) so I just hope there will not be any further issues with stopping any other payments leaving my account. However, even if I am successful in cancelling it is still a months money down the drain. Sure for Eurosportplayer the money is totting up nicely right now - for zero usable service. Do not waste your money. Wish I had checked on here before I subscribed...

Tried both the app and web version. Both terrible in different ways. Subscribed because it was the only place I could watch the sport climbing at the Olympics in the UK. Web version shows about 3 pixels on the screen (I had a very strong internet connection) and still manages to buffer about 3 times in 5 minutes.

The app is higher quality, but every time it buffers it pauses and then it buffers every ten seconds. I think my thumbs were getting a better workout than the athletes I was trying to watch.

The English commentators are awful too. The way they talk makes it sound like a football match. Climbing isn't suited to that kind of commentary, switched over to Norwegian even though I can barely understand it. Their tone is much nicer to listen to.

Definitely not worth the £6.99 per month that it charges. This is less than £1 per month quality. Won't be continuing with my subscription after climbing is over.

Have just subscribed for the olympics. Just put on to watch the replay of the hockey women’s quarter finals. Straight at the beginning of the programme showed the penalty shoot out. No game beforehand at all!! Just an 11 minute programme!! Absolutely pointless. Will definitely advise anyone against paying for this!

Who in their right mind subscribes to this awful channel. I have never watched sport before where the commentary team is so bad it makes me want to turn the tv off.

At least try and get some presenters who have actually heard of the sport they are commentating on!

Really bad - do not waste your money!!! I subscribed to watch coverage of the equestrian events at the Olympics & it has audio of the tennis instead of the commentary for the dressage. Absolute shambles!!!!!

I've never seen a more terrible viewing experience. In the year 2021 you should have suggestions, related channels, a freaking overlay with what the hell is happening. In other words, basic UI. The kind of basic UI you ask juniors to make.

It's just direct feeds with no description, no commentary and no organization.

Is it a warmup? oh, the guy started, seems like a full routine.. nope, just a warmup. Then it jumps to another guy in mid routine... What.. The.. World???

Then I see the feed starts after 2 events are already over. By now I'm so confused I just go to youtube and watch cats throw cups off the kitchen table wondering if it's somehow part of whatever competition was running.

Oh and.. with no warning they take out content. Yeah.

Oh and.. commercial free my ass. Yeah.

Well done Eurosport... you are never seeing money from me again.

Previously I was very pleased with eurosport player because I could watch tennis with commentary in a choice of languages, and a wide choice of matches, which was wonderful.
But sadly my current experience during the Tokyo Olympics is completely different.
Not only is it not possible to have commentary in multiple languages, it's often impossible to have commentary even in English! And it seems that you have to choose, if there is a choice, between ambient background noise or commentary, but not have both.
Although weirdly, and randomly, it occasionally seems to happen by itself. When I watched the women's artistic gymnastics team finals there was some commentary at some points. BUT they very weirdly had commentary, at times, for the gymnastics overlapped by commentary that sounded like it was about football???!!! How bizarre!
As for watching the floor routines, I could watch with the music the athletes perform to, OR listen to commentary, at times. But at other random times both commentary and music were available, although I have no idea how.
Given that this is a service I paid for, I'm very disappointed and don't know if I'll bother in the future.

I signed up via Amazon just to watch the Olympic Equestrian. I can't find any replays and the only feed has no commentary but the sound of a tennis match in the background! Wish I'd never subscribed now!

Really poor commentator, just watchin the basketball and the commentator is terrible. he has not idea of what he is talking about. it does not event recognizes the players????

I am a big fan of the British Super Bikes. The coverage this year is poor. You spend most of your time watching a static screen waiting for the racing to start and when it does sometimes the race as already started. There are very few rider interviews. The coverage that is hard to follow. I have subscribed to Eurosport for a few years now as the coverage used to be really good. Eurosport this is rubbish for a subscribed site and you need to sort this out.

There is no commentary or any sound at all on Eurosport 4 on the men’s artistic gymnastics

I subscribed to the Premium version and I am still getting adverts. The commentators on the Tour de France said"subscribe to eurosport and no adverts" ....That is NOT THE CASE

UPDATE: Thanks Eurosport for the reply. Reinstalled the app and that seems to have worked for now. I can’t give 5 stars because it’s not easy finding highlights and there is no option for a ‘pop out player’ on ipad. As for those people here who diss Sean Kelly’s commentary, I’m having none of it. His insights are great. If you don’t like it listen to the french or german commentary. The biathlon commentators are also great.

Trying to watch the Tour de France on my ipad. It keeps crashing and tells me ‘there has been a problem’. So frustrating.
