Avoid Avoid Avoid

Contacted Luke early on this year about installing panelling in my living room and bedroom. He came and measured and sent over a quote the following day. He requested a 50% deposit on booking which I sent via bank transfer. After weeks and months of contacting him with no reply I reported him to action fraud and the police. I have heard some horror stories about him on social media platforms and customer reviews so please avoid with all cost. Luke is conning hard working people out of money, he’s an absolute disgrace! He should be ashamed of himself! Don’t fall for his lies everyone.

Rug pulled

We originally contacted Evans Bespoke Interiors in September to do a custom media wall. He invoiced us and as part of the contract was a 25% deposit prior to the 3d renders and then 50% for materials prior to work. A total of £7,600 has been taken by Luke to a Natwest bank account and a Monzo bank account.

Since paying he has blocked all contact, purged all his business and personal social media accounts, and as of today (02/12/2025) deleted his website.

This appears to have happened to a number of people in the South West Wales area following a number of reports appearing on review platforms and social media, suggesting that this was a planned rug pull.

This is currently under investigation with the police and banks.

Luke Evans has recently opened a further 2 businesses so may be attempting to trade under one of these companies - CONCEPT MEDIA WALLS LIMITED (16835443) & OUD ATELIER LIMITED (16836113).

His partner Lily Hooper is listed as a director for one of these companies so could be acting as a proxy.

Avoid at all costs.

Con artist - avoid at all costs

This so‑called tradesman is nothing but a scammer. He took £20,000 from my friend with promises of work that was never started. After pocketing the money, he vanished—no communication, no materials, no progress, nothing. It’s outright theft. He exploited trust and left my friend devastated both financially and emotionally. Do not be fooled by his false assurances—he is dishonest, unreliable, and dangerous to deal with. Avoid at all costs and protect yourself from being ripped off

SCAM

Don't believe instagram, it's a scam. I'm currently renovating and looking for a bespoke product. I have recently been in touch with someone who paid tens of thousands upfront and never received goods, no work carried out but upfront payment taken. The fact that they are still trading despite this experience is extremely concerning. I would strongly advise others

Scammer! Paid £10k no goods and now no contact

We engaged Evans Bespoke Interiors in May to build two bespoke study desks with storage for our daughters’ bedrooms, as well as to design an office desk. We paid £10,000 upfront over 3 instalments.

From the start, the installation date was repeatedly pushed back. By October, communication had completely stopped — no returned calls, WhatsApp messages, or voicemails despite numerous attempts to reach him. To date, we have received no furniture and no refund.

Since then, we have discovered that several other customers have experienced similar issues. Based on what has been shared with us so far, the combined amount paid and not refunded to ourselves and two others is £34,000, and we understand there may be more affected customers.

If you have had a similar experience, please come forward and contact us so that we can support one another and ensure this is properly addressed. We are sharing our experience to warn others and to hopefully prevent further people from being affected.
