Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 25 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers received items that appeared cheap and mass-produced, often from China, despite being advertised as handcrafted or high-quality. People frequently noted that the products did not match the pictures online, with some items missing components or being made from cheap metals rather than advertised silver or gold. The pricing was also a point of contention, with many feeling they overpaid for the quality received, comparing items to those found in discount stores. However, some customers also noted that certain jewelry pieces were complimented by others, sparkled nicely, or felt light and comfortable to wear. A few other people also felt that some items were nicely packed, sturdy, or had an appealing design that brightened their outfits.

Wore the zirconia tennis bracelet to dinner and wow, it sparkled under the lights. People actually asked me where I got it. It’s super light too;I barely felt it the whole night.

The moon bracelet didn’t wow me

The moon bracelet didn’t wow me. The charm is cute, but the chain feels a little too thin. I’ll still wear it now and then, just not something I’d call a favorite.

I didn’t even wait a day before stacking the boho gold pack with my watch. They don’t feel heavy at all, which was my worry. Each bracelet has its own vibe, and mixing them up is half the fun. Definitely something I’ll keep reaching for when I want a little variety.

Simple and fuss-free

I like that the enamel and gold bracelet doesn’t snag on anything. It feels modern but still classy, and it fits snug without pinching. One of those easy everyday pieces.

Better than I expected

When the green crystal stack came in, I was impressed by how nicely it was packed. The different shades look so good together, and they’re surprisingly sturdy. I’ve worn them through typing marathons and they didn’t stretch a bit.

Not quite as nice in person

The moon bracelet is fine, but honestly it looked better in pictures. The charm’s cute, but the chain feels a bit too thin. I’ll wear it sometimes, but it’s not my favorite.

Chinese scam - beware

I ordered 3 necklaces and a pair of earings. Delivery took over a month which raised my suspicions and on looking at the refund policy, I discovered the buyer is responsible for paying for returns to China! The items were very cheap looking when they finally arrived in plastic pouches and definitely not handmade. The hassle of returning the items China put me off so I complained and was offered a 20% discount which I took.
I've worn the jewellery and had some compliments but it's not what worth what I paid. Evelyn jewellery also trades as Claire jewellery - same photo and blurb!

Don't waste your money on this jewellery

The two rings I ordered were nothing like as advertised. The stones in the middle were cloudy and it was not silver as advertised but cheap metal. I have written to them for a refund but have been ignored so am going to my local Trading Standards to complain and then on to Small Claims for a refund.

I was not pleased with the ring I ordered for my daughter’s birthday when it arrived mid June, I thought it looked like costume jewellery. I messaged the help line and they offered a discount of 20% but I decided I was going to return it and I found I had to return it to China which is odd and was costing me £10 to send it back does Evelyn live in China or retire to China maybe, then I thought it to be a SCAM I don’t think it is handmade by Evelyn at all so a definite scam!! Beware folks

The earrings were a while getting delivered. Tried to cancel order, as had suspicions they hadn’t been truthful over the quality and price of the order. I think the earrings are worth no more( two pairs) than £10. They arrived and are of cheap quality. I have just seen exact same ones in the website ( Temu) for under £10.00p. I paid over £40.00. Be aware!!

I think it is a scam

I think it is a scam. The items came from China and look ok but are very cheap . It is not a company retiring that’s for sure. Save your money.

Scam site

Scam site. Check out, Nola Jewellery, Wendy Clarke, Claire Jewellery and this Evelyn Jewellery all the same made up story about one particular woman retiring and selling off her handcrafted pieces. Different photos of women, different names, same Jewellery and story. LIES and SCAM.!!! Beware!!! You can see by the positive reviews all from USA probably linked to the company as they are all very poetic/using AI about this jewellery and have done only 1 or 2 reviews.

⚠️ My Honest Warning About “Evelyn Jewellery" - Please Read Before You Buy!

I placed an order from what seemed like a beautiful boutique called “Evelyn Jewellery,” which claimed to sell handcrafted, high-quality jewellery. The story on the website was touching — about a woman named Evelyn who had shops worldwide and was retiring. I trusted it.

I spent £107.10GBP on items that were advertised as handcrafted, gold, pearl, and silver. What I received was cheap-looking, mass-produced costume jewellery from China that didn’t match the pictures at all. One necklace was just a pendant with no chain.

The company claims to offer a “no-questions-asked refund policy within 30 days,” but this is false. I had to email multiple times, and they kept offering small discounts (20%, then 30%) to avoid giving a full refund. Finally, they told me I had to ship the return to China, even though I ordered from a company supposedly based in Berlin, Germany.

I’ve now submitted a credit card dispute through my bank and learned that many others have had similar experiences. The website seems to be a scam, using a fake backstory and lovely photos to lure trusting customers.
Please be careful. Don’t let this happen to you. If you've already placed an order, take screenshots, document everything, and speak with your bank.

It's really heart breaking. Let’s stop these scammers from hurting more innocent people.

I received my 2 rings after waiting for them to travel from either China or Hong Kong, not sure. They are of a quality you would expect from a pound shop. The website is fraudulent, deceptive and lying to the public. I won’t were these, they’re just not good enough.I’ve been fooled with the pictures of the lady and the videos suggesting the rings are made with expert hands. I promise you they are not. There are a no. Of companies selling this jewellery. Be aware!
