System kept throwing me out don't know why as I followed instructions. VPN turned off only had 1 tab open etc. Missed out on the VIP ticket I wantrd. I eventually did get a standard ticket in the end.

Ticket delivery options, including whether e-tickets are available, are set by the event organiser or venue and can vary from event to event. Where postal delivery is the only option, this will be shown during the booking process before payment is completed.
Only international delivery method is charged £15.00
If you are UK resident with a delivery address in UK, please contact our customer service and we will look into this.

Event cancelled by organiser, but only partial refund given!?
Had an absolutely terrible experience with the customer services team. I booked 2x VIP tickets for my daughter to see Gabbys Dollhouse Live. The event we had booked was cancelled 2/3 weeks before we were due to go. Eventim contacted me to advise that the event was cancelled and I would be refunded. 2 weeks later, I had received no refund so I sent an email to ask for an update. I didn't receive any communication with a human, just an automated email saying my refund had been processed and would be with me within another 2 weeks. A few days later I then received another email saying that a refund for X amount had been processed, however this amount was £25 less than what I paid. I emailed customer services again, and was told that I was not entitled to a full refund as the booking fee, and mobile ticket fee are none refundable. I would understand these being non refundable if I had chosen not to attend the event, however this was not the case. Eventim notified me that the event had been cancelled, I also never received a mobile ticket, so technically have paid for a service I never received.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I am entitled to a full refund as I have received no benefit from these services. Contract terms cannot override statutory consumer rights.
The customer services team have flat out refused, and then continued to close my case.
Luckily, I have successfully charged this back through my bank. However definitely something to be wary of.

When an event is cancelled, refunds are processed in line with the terms and conditions agreed at the time of booking. As outlined there, certain fees such as booking and transaction fees are non-refundable, even in the event of a cancellation.

Still not issuing full refunds, only face value
Still not issuing full refunds. None of the fees they sneak on at the end are covered if the show is cancelled. If you buy missed event insurance it too is not refundable. I understand this is the in lengthy T&C's but that doesn't mean they are fair or consumer friendly.
Whilst they are not as bad as Ticketmaster (the bar has been set quite low). Thankfully there's a few better ticket providers and I hope Eventim don't acquire them too (again) and drag them down to their level.
Ticketmaster for despite their faults are convenient. Perhaps I've reached the point of grudging acceptance. Luckily I don't encounter Eventim often and will avoid them when possible.

You have to download the Eventim app to retrieve your tickets.
The purchasing of the ticket was very easy, but I did get quite anxious when I couldn’t retrieve my tickets upon arriving at the venue, however there was an usher on hand to assist with that. I was not able to speak with anyone when calling the helpline to enquire about assisted tickets at the weekend. Also I didn’t really want to have to download another application on to my phone just to get my tickets.

Purchased tickets for an event at…
Purchased tickets for an event at Hammersmith Apollo. The main act cancelled and I received an email saying I can get a full refund. There were no instructions on how to do this. Says get refund from ticket provider which was directly via Eventim. Dreadful as you cannot talk to anyone and there are no links or advice on how to do this. £325 on tickets and can't get through to anyone. Makes you not want to risk buying tickets for events but they seem to have a monopoly!
