They may offer legit services, but as a business they're boarderline scammers.
In a nutshell, I tried to cancel an order but it had already shipped. Even though I never opened the box the kit came in, they wouldn't accept a return or offer a refund. They took my $70 and asked that I dispose of the kit properly.

I wanted to love Everlywell. I’m proactive about my health, and their mail-in lab tests seemed like a great option. But my recent experience was frustrating, disappointing, and ultimately a waste of time and effort—especially during an already difficult period of grief.
I ordered the Heart Health test in early June and registered it with a planned collection date of June 29. Unfortunately, we had a sudden death in the family, so I reached out to Everlywell before collecting the sample to let them know I’d need to delay. (I couldn't change it in the app after selecting a date.) They acknowledged my message and said they’d be there when I was ready to proceed. I never collected the sample on June 29.
I finally completed the test on July 31 and mailed it immediately. The lab received it on August 4—well within the acceptable processing window. But instead of results, I was told the test kit had “expired.” Why? Because they still had June 29 listed as the collection date, despite my earlier communication—and despite their confirmation that the original collection date would be cancelled!
Now I'm going to have to re-do everything—fasting, prepping, scheduling—because of Everlywell’s failure to follow through. Their customer support responded by RE-QUOTING the very emails I had already included in my support ticket while telling me I might've "missed those emails". What?! This is canned, borderline gaslighting language. They ignored the core issue: that I did everything right, and they still invalidated my sample due to internal mishandling. Additionally, they keep asking me if I want to re-order the test ... as if they aren't aware that was already offered with the original "kit expired" email and accepted and is already on its way.
What I needed was follow-through, accuracy, and care—especially when I’d already gone through the effort to inform them of a delay caused by a personal loss.
This was supposed to make health monitoring easier. Instead, it became an exhausting customer service loop where I had to prove I was telling the truth.
Proceed with caution. And keep all your receipts. This is likely the last test I'll ever order from them.

Some shocking results but they were right about those. I notice several folks who can't follow the simpl blood draw directions. It is not that hard at all. Presson your wrist and hold your pricked finger down . Anyyway, this product is fantastic.

I warned them I would do this . . . . They didn't think my concern/complaint merited a response. . . . . Don't order their food sensitivity (or possibly any other blood-based) test without first lining up a friend or clinic that agrees to draw your blood for you. Because it doesn't matter how many of their instructions Everlywell gives you, you are not going to get enough blood to cover those "dots" completely, from pricking fingers. If you're going to do it alone, be sure to pick up a box of "mobile lancets" at a drugstore first. You're going to be busy for the next two hours trying to draw enough blood for a sample. . . . Otherwise, I like their test and the ease of reading the results. Some extremely common foods are left out (butter, I think?), but overall, it does a good job.

This company is a joke. They take your money and then don’t provide you a service, at least in my case. Over $250 for a kit I didn’t even get to use, they definitely won’t get repeat business from me. I’ve had way better luck with lab testing at Labcorp. Yes a mail in kit is convenient but it is not worth it when they have no accountability.

These people @ Everlywell are a total joke. They keep calling the house insisting that because I am 72, I receive their "Home Care" visits where they will send out a nurse practitioner to my home. I keep telling them that I already have a primary care Dr. that I see here in town twice a year and I do not need nor did I ever authorize their service for "Home Care". They said that they were authorized by my Blue Shield Insurance, but when I call Blue Shield, they did not authorize anything. This has been going on every three months for the past 4 years! This week, I received a phone message that I have an appointment on Thursday at 3:00PM in Louisiana. (Only problem is, I live in Nevada) I called back the number that left the message and a woman answered, so I explained the problematic phone message and said again that I did not require their services and that I was not flying to Louisiana for any appointments. "Oh, I see what happened." was her response and she hung up on me! Exactly what happened? Guess I'll never find out but I'm beginning to think this is a total scam company.

Heed the warnings of others! I wish I had read the reviews before making a purchase. Customer service is horrible. Nothing keeps the sample protected from heat degradation. Won’t refund or replace samples once they reach the lab. Don’t waste your money - pay the copay and ask your dr for the tests! (Which is what customer service suggests you do to verify your results!!)

I bought a hormone test from Everywell hoping for insight into my male health. The results came back as zeros across the board, which made no sense. When I contacted support, I was told there are no refunds and no retakes. I felt scammed, not supported.

Update in response to the Everlywell reply: Their claim that "While the Kit ID is an important part of the process, the kit must be registered online before testing begins in order for your sample to be properly processed, securely matched with your identity, and tracked through the lab" is absolutely false. Here is the EXACT chain of events regarding my test: 1) It arrived completely unsolicited by me in the mail, seemingly as a proactive test requested by my insurance for all customers over a certain age; 2) I did the test and put it back in the mail; 3) some time later Everlywell sent the test results via postal mail. THE END. At no point did I ever register the kit on their website or provide them any personal information whatsoever. Therefore, as indicated in my initial review below, I have no obligation to provide THEIR website (which is NOT my insurance company) with ANY of my personal/private details. The FACT that they processed the kit and mailed the results is unequivocal proof that their claim that every test recipient must register the kit and provide personal details on THEIR website is 100% false and yet further evidence they cannot be trusted to provide accurate information OR to take responsibility for their mistakes and flawed system.
Initial review:
Per their own information on the piece of paper from which the peel and stick specimen bag label is removed it says: "You'll need your Kit ID # to get your results." That's it... doesn't say you need to do anything else other than enter that ID # on their website. However, in reality, they require creating an account, entering all sorts of private details which I've never even provided them previously so why should they need it now) to simply display my test results?! And they can't legitimately claim they need it to confirm they're displaying the results to test taker because, again, I was never required to provide any of this highly sensitive info in the first place. So, obviously, there's zero reason they should actually need it for comparison.
And to make matters worse, to merely try and contact them via the contact form on their site, again requires entering personal information such as date of birth, etc. Let's face reality, literally no one else makes customers enter their DoB and other such details into a contact form to simply send a message. Even highly secure financial institutions don't ask for your date of birth or private ID numbers to merely send them a message! Also, phone number is a MANDATORY field. Why?!?! What if I prefer to be contacted by email OR what if I'm unavailable to speak vy phone during their limited business hours OR what if I'm one of the HALF A BILLION people in the world who are deaf, mute or have some other condition which prevents them from speaking on the phone!!!
In other words, Everlywell a) repeatedly makes interacting with their website as difficult as possible and b) repeatedly demands various pieces of private information which they have no need to ask for, beyond the Kit ID #, to simply show the test results for your kit or just send them a message.
In closing, after seeing a direct email address for them in their replies to some negative reviews, I sent them an email explaining all of the above and offering the opportunity to help resolve the problem or at least acknowledge the issue and a willingness to work on improving it. However, Molly (an Everlywell Customer Experience Representative) instead tersely responded, doing exactly the opposite and demanding more private information! Which, by the way, no company should EVER ask for private personal details over email... which is widely known to be incredibly unsecure. It was almost as if she was intentionally trying to annoy the customer by doubling-down on the problem I contacted them about and to turn an already negative experience into an even more negative one. So... mission accomplished. Here's your 1 star review for both making it needlessly difficult for customers to get their test results AND for having representatives who are likewise difficult rather than helpful.

EverlyWell’s customer service is absolutely outstanding. I made a mistake entering my address on a recent order, and they immediately stepped in to help without making it complicated or frustrating. In a time when good support is hard to come by—especially with health-related products—this felt genuinely human and generous.
Highly recommend them for both the quality of their service and the kindness behind it. Thank you, EverlyWell!

Although we in zipcode 20016 have probably the worst Post Office in the country, I still hold Everlywell a pita to use. Briefly, ordered A1C test over internet, Received shipping info (again typically 'two days of waiting for package, label printed) but this time became almost a week. Everlywell policy is the onus is on us, the consumer, to check status of delivery which with the USPO is a Fool's Errand. Besides, shiping problems ate between Everlywell and whomever they choose, not my problem Finally got to speak with Everlywell which said they sent me the wrong shipping info and tracking number and the package arrived two days after tgey sent it.... well no package ever arrived, but Everlywell did send another. After about 6 more days, two (2) packages did show up, on the same day, I looked for dates that might indicate which was which thinking Everlywell may have canceled one. But it's mostly likely that the first package actually never even went out. Now two weeks into this and getting nowhere....Well, then just decided to go with one test and see, went to register and, being the first time, thought it was successfully registered and went to another zipcode post office to return the sample. Kept checking the awkward, clumsy, product pushing Everlywell site for updates but saw none. Waited about a week and said ok let's go to the other sample submission package. It did seem to register when I again tried to start the process, and, this time I did receive an email indicating it was registered Now, back to the awkward and clumsy promotional Everlywell site.... after about 5 more workdays, my results were in, no notice, no updates mo nothing except dozens of texts and emails trying to sell more and other tests. All in all a yuge pita! Never again!!

The urology test result did not come close to the test results done by my nephrologist. It was easy to take the samples, but I won't do it again because I cannot trust the results to be accurate or reliable.

I appreciate being able to become an active participant in my health care. Though the results were not what I had hoped for, I’m very grateful I took the test because I was able to promptly seek care from my physician which I would not have otherwise done.

Their instructions for the colon cancer screening kit are wrong. They say the collection paper is flushable and it is NOT. My toilet is broke now. I’m so pissed off beyond belief. I hate this company for what they are putting me through. I will NEVER use one of their products again. How dare they be so careless!

I was traveling from Uk in US and got a UTI which my travel insurance would not cover. I decided to try Everywell to get a prescription for antibiotics. I applied on a Saturday and received a message with a prescription Sunday. Unfortunately , I am allergic to the meds prescribed and had to call to have the prescription changed. This was Sunday, they were not available until 9 am Monday. Phoned on Monday to a call center some where in the Midwest and was told it would take 48 hours to respond!!!!! Mean while I am suffering with a UTI which urgently needed attention. By 5 pm Monday, I still had heard nothing. I contacted another online service and received a prescription within an hour. I then received an invoice for services from Everlywell, which I refused to pay, and received a response that was practically illiterate- very bad don’t bother, there are many others, use one of them!

These are not accurate. I did the Hba1c test to track my blood sugar. The results came back at 6.4, which is the highest end of prediabetic. I immediately made an appointment with my primary care doctor to do a full blood panel and my hba1c came back 5.2 and "perfectly normal" per my doctor! I've had the absolutely most stressful two weeks mentally preparing to have to deal with diabetes and it was completely unnecessary.

Horrible experience! Took over 3 weeks for the lab to even "receive" my specimen. Then they refused to give me a refund. I couldn't get a manager to even call me back, they will only communicate via email. Horrible customer service.

The instructions on the kit were easy to follow. It was easy to track the results of the sample after it was shipped and to get the test results.

Easy way to check blood tests from home.
Create account at everywell then register kit.
Get blood sample and mail in. Everything
required is in the kit. I got results in 7 business
