I bought electric bicycle from Evo Electric website for commuting to work. I did use bicycle couple of times, on day I was riding in light rain conditions one day. I rode bicycle three times after and since then, bicycle stop working. I have contacted Evo Electric team and asked for help and advice. I was told to send bicycle on my cost to their repair centre at address Microtek Repair & Retail Uk 452 Dudley Rd Wolverhampton WV2 3AQ, around July 2022, where all the issues started. I contacted them couple weeks ago, when I sent bicycle for repair and I was told, they could not find bicycle in their Repair centre. I sent them proof of delivery details and photo from delivery driver. After another couple of weeks their miraculously found the bike. It took them another couple of weeks come with statement, that bicycle's motor was damages after water entered motor's casing. I had discussion forward and backwards with them, that is impossible after one ride in light rain to be that much excess of water in motor's casing. I did ask for solution and I was offered to pay for repair in their Repair centre, since then I have not heard from them at all. I would avoid these company in future and warn another people to not buy anything from them.

I have to to say the way management takes into account customer feedback, is excellent. Although there was a delay in the shipping process which I was very angry about they compensated me accordingly which is a very decent thing to do. I had to delete my negative review simply because of the way they handle the matter. Thank you to the evo electric team for resolving the issue professionally.

Ordered a bike and arrived within 3 days but fault appeared with cables and kept turning off immediately. Contacted customer service and took a week to arrange collection theyy assured me it would be a 2 day turnaround in time for our holiday where we would be using it. It has been 4 weeks and still no bike. They have told me they are struggling to get parts to repair 2 weeks ago. Then Wednesday last week It has been repaired and will checked and packaged ready to be shipped out Monday and a tracking number will be provided. It’s now Tuesday and still no tracking number or bike. Now They are avoiding my emails and not responding to online chat either. I have requested a full refund if they can’t provide tracking number but again I am being ignored.
AVOID AVOID AVOID. Offered a £20 good will gesture 2 weeks ago and still not received it because there was a delay in getting the parts to repair. Honestly this company is a joke and are stealing peoples money and just using delay tactics to avoid refunds etc I wish I had read these reviews before I brought it.
UPDATE: well after getting no response for another week I reminded them of my consumers rights and demanded a full refund or I would report them for theft of my funds. Surprise surprise the bike hadn’t arrived and wasnt sent as I was told and got a full refund.

Had a bike purchased for me as a birthday present. My family had owned the bike approx 2 weeks before giving it to me as a present. I got it out the box and noticed immediately something was wrong. A huge hole in the box had caused damage to the bike disc brake so that it was stuck on.
I think it was a forklift truck puncture.
My brother raised the issue and we were told no refund - we could have damaged it ourselves but they would collect and fix it.
It took a week to be collected and then weeks to be fixed. It finally came back but nothing had been fixed at all - it even had my tape on the box so clearly wasn't even looked at! We complained again, they arranged collection. A month later we got it back and this time the seat lock was missing so the seat wouldn't stay in place and the battery back was open, exposing dangerous wires.
Finally they yielded and offered a refund but we had to deliver the bike to a depot to get it. In total there were nearly 100 emails back and fourth and hours of calls. Very hard to contact and get hold of anyone.
A nightmare and I'm still not sure what exactly is going on at the company. Very dodgy though.

Con Merchants, avoid like the plague! I ordered & paid in full for an Electric Bike 3rd July. Received nothing. Rang them twice, left 2 messages, didn’t bother to ring me back. Tried live chat, no response. Eventually’John’ emailed me, trying to fob me off with ‘your bike was sent 5th July’ by DHL. I asked for tracking number, unable to provide tracking number. His response was ‘tracking number sent directly to me from WEAR HOUSE’, please note this was his exact spelling.
An update: I contacted my bank 2 days ago, raised a card dispute. Low & behold, today I have received a full refund. So much for the story I was told 2 days, that my bike had been dispatched, complete & utter lies. Buyer beware, don’t be fooled by their website claiming to be UK No 1 supplier of electric bikes & authorised dealers. The text I got came from +1 323 number, not a UK number.

Same experience as many others on here. I ordered an electric bike which was delivered damaged. Sent to a terrible repair company (Microtek repairs) who had it for 6 weeks before sending it back with the same damage!
Repeated the same process after lots more back and forth and the bike arrived this time in a faulty condition with the wires exposed from the battery which is just absolutely a huge no no.
Finally got a refund, they initially refused me a refund which is against the law.
I would stay well clear.
Don’t buy from Evo Electric
I bought at electric bike off them, 1 weeks after receiving the front wheel gets jammed, I contact the company and they ask me to send it for repair. I’ve sent the bike for repair and 2 months later I’m still waiting for the bike to get fixed. However now they’re telling me I would need to pay because the damage isn’t included in the warranty but if the bike was good quality which it wasn’t it would’ve happened. I would recommend no to buy from this company as they’re the worst seller I’ve seen.

Scam Company - Avoid!
Avoid this company. They work as a sales agent for cheaply made ebikes mass-produced in China. My B20 Windgoo ebike stopped working within a few months and they have refused a refund, replacement or to repair it as the battery was water-logged due to rain! Was told water got into the seal which is CLEARLY a manufacturing issue and extreme design fault for a bike which will be used outdoors. These bikes are not fit for purpose and I’ve been made aware that this is not an isolated incident and they have had issues with other water-logged bikes too, yet continue to sell them (and refuse refunds or repairs). Scam company.
