Fundamentally, ExecThread provides access to listings you can't find elsewhere. That's why you come here, and that's what you get. In many cases, it's the only way you're going to get your foot in the... See more

Do not use this platform for your job…
Do not use this platform for your job search. I did a trial and I got so much spam, if I clicked on a link it didn’t go to the job advertised. It was a waste of time. I was then charged when the trial was over and I wrote to get my money back the next day (my fault I know) but they were rude and didn’t even offer a partial refund. Seriously a waste of your time. Don’t even do the trial. Worthless. LinkedIn has worked much better for me and it’s free
an intentionally closed network with incredible customization
i've been using execthread for a while now and it's become one of my go-tos for keeping tabs on jobs for execs. i haven't landed a role through it yet, but honestly the value goes way beyond just applying to jobs.
the customizability is what really does it for me. you can dial in exactly what you want to see by function, industry, geography, location (ie remote) so you're not wading through a bunch of noise. it's one of the few places where i can quickly see which companies are actively hiring at the executive level, which is super useful even if you're not actively looking.
i also really like the credit-based system and referral model. it keeps the quality of listings high and the community engaged. everyone has skin in the game, so you're not dealing with recycled postings or low-effort leads. there's a real sense of exclusivity and trust that you just don't get on the mega job boards, which almost never have quality exec posts anyway.
if you're a sr exec who wants curated access to opportunities and values signal over noise, definitely check it out.
Excellent experience
I've been both a subscriber and a recruiter using execthread for to find great jobs and candidates. I've been consistently pleased with the quality of the roles, the accessibility of the recruiters. Similarly, the quality of the candidates has been excellent.
Not a legitimate recruitment business
All this company does is rip off other peoples adverts rewrites them and markets them as their own. Totally unethical and a business to certainly steer clear of.
ExecThread Delivers Meaningful Executive Visibility
I was featured in ExecThread’s monthly CEO newsletter spotlight, and the experience was outstanding. Joe Meyer ran a thoughtful, professional interview process that led to strong visibility across their executive network and on LinkedIn. ExecThread understands how to elevate leaders in a way that is credible and well-targeted.
My experience with ExecThread has been…
My experience with ExecThread has been exceptional! It’s one of the top resources I use to find timely C-suite job openings that are curated and filtered to match my background and interests. Beyond its exclusive job board, ExecThread’s CEO Joe Meyer’s newsletter offers inspiring stories that helped me through the inevitable ups and downs of an executive job search. I highly recommend ExecThread and trust Joe Meyer to keep delivering relevant content to support executive job seekers.
I was one of the early ExecThread…
I was one of the early ExecThread members. I'm constantly impressed with how the site and the company have evolved to provide valuable solutions and services to executives and others searching for senior leadership roles.
I recommend Execthread for any Executive (especially if you are actively looking).
I recommend Execthread to all of my executive colleagues who are looking for the next opportunity. Joe created an incredible peer-to-peer sharing mechanism for the "unseen" executive openings -- career opps you won't find on LinkedIn (Headhunter only). It's great for passive and active job seekers.
Valueless service
Valueless service. No unique postings, counting on you forgetting that your are subscribed. The whole business model is breakage from the unemployed.
Beware of malpractice
Beware of malpractice. Signed up to what I thought was a free trial and I got charged for full membership. I cancelled immediately and contacted the customer service. 3 months later and several letters back and forth and they are adamant not to uphold to UK consumer rights, claiming US jurisdiction over a purchase that happened in the UK.
Great community, great service.
I've been an ExecThread member for nearly 10 years, and continue to be impressed with the content and community that Joe and the ExecThread team have built. I've recommended the network to many executives through the years, because I know it will be worth their time. Keep up the good work over there!
For those “in the know”
For those “in the know”, ExecThread is an incredible resource for C-level executives and board members. They provide exclusive access to premium opportunities not found elsewhere.
Very disappointed in Joe and his scummy…
Very disappointed in Joe and his scummy business practices. I was a very early customer of his. I no longer need the service and honestly had no idea I had signed up on an ongoing basis. Like many others have said, no notice and even though I attempted to cancel the day it came through as pending on my credit card, they told me to, as the expression goes, pound sand. Very deceptive. Very disappointed. I have never had a vendor of any repute do this.
Outstanding!
Outstanding! Detailed, timely, and accurate information provided for openings posted.
Execthread is a predatory company!
Execthread is a predatory company that relies on deceptive billing tactics to extract money from unsuspecting users. I was charged recurring subscription fees without my knowledge, consent, or any clear communication about renewal terms. There were no reminder emails, no visible cancellation notices, and no transparency in how they handle billing.
When I contacted their team for clarification, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses — no accountability, no refund, and no concern for the unethical nature of their practices. It’s clear that this company’s business model depends on silently charging people who don’t realize they’re subscribed.
Execthread’s conduct is dishonest and exploitative. Companies like this erode consumer trust and should be investigated for deceptive business practices. I strongly urge the BBB to review their operations and warn others to stay far away.
Great resource for executives in…
Great resource for executives in transition or open to a new opportunity.
A go to product for the c-suite
I have been on of the first users of Execthread. Joe and the team have built Execthread into a first class product with insights from leaders, and a pulse on key job openings for the c-suite.
This company is all about their profits…
This company is all about their profits and is less interested in career help. The positions are often duplicates that can be found elsewhere, and many are not executive level.
However, the worst thing about this company is their aggressive handling of subscriptions/renewals and their poor customer service. The annual cost of this service is not insignificant, even for executives (especially when unemployed). Once you give them your payment information they will take their fees without exception. Most companies now understand that prior to making a nearly $500 charge for a renewal, a simple heads-up email is a fair business practice. I was recently notified of the charge and within minutes tried to cancel my membership. I was on vacation and tried to cancel from my phone, which did not work. (I readily admit it may have been my error). Upon returning to a place where I could use my laptop (a couple of business days), I cancelled. That cancellation was rejected and even though I explained I am heading into retirement and would absolutely not use the service and that $500 was meaningful to me, I was simply sent a copy of the renewal terms and told no refund would be given. Having worked in a subscription business in the past, I know this is a conscious choice by management to renew without notice because people are forced to pay just like I was. Forget the compassionate career partner BS, this company is all about profit maximization.
ExecThread is trusted by many…
ExecThread is trusted by many executives and aspiring Board members as a resource for opportunities and advice. Joe Meyer is committed to his community and to providing support, insights and connections for his members.
