Fundamentally, ExecThread provides access to listings you can't find elsewhere. That's why you come here, and that's what you get. In many cases, it's the only way you're going to get your foot in the... See more

Do not use this platform for your job search. I did a trial and I got so much spam, if I clicked on a link it didn’t go to the job advertised. It was a waste of time. I was then charged when the trial... See more

Great work!

ExecThread is highly organized, systematic, very professional. An interesting source of short-term work. The entry points are tailored and responses take very little time. Highly recommend.

ExecThread Delivers a Thoughtful, High-Value Experience for Members

Talentfoot had the pleasure of partnering with ExecThread for a webinar: "Recruiting Secrets Revealed: Masterclass for Executive Job Seekers", and the experience was great from start to finish.

The ExecThread community is highly engaged, with thoughtful and well-prepared attendees who brought insightful questions and meaningful discussion to the session.

The team behind ExecThread was incredibly supportive, handling all event logistics seamlessly, ensuring a smooth and professional experience. Their commitment to providing value to executives navigating their careers is evident, and I highly recommend ExecThread to anyone seeking a high-caliber professional network.

Provide some predictability of what kind of roles are advertised when (public service? DC only? CEO? Board?)

ExecThread seems to aggregate positions well but it often seems so unpredictable what kind of positions they are helping market. DC/Public Sector (which, at this point, are only Repub appointed positions) are in abundance and then there's a page of CEO roles. Might you be able to give your viewers a semblance of what goes up on your job board when? I often just skip the site since I don't have the time to go through the positions and understand what the type of sector or role it is that day.

I had a bad experience with ExecThread

I had a bad experience with ExecThread. It began with a 1 month free trial. The company charged me even though I cancelled the service just moments after the trial officially expired. I attempted to contact the company about a refund, believing it was a reasonable request; my cancellation was only a few hours past the official expiration. No chance. First, contacting someone at the company is truly an exercise in futility. They publish no phone numbers / take no phone calls and only work through a single anonymous customer service email (info@). After denying my refund request, all my subsequent emails to this generic customer service account went unanswered. Ghosted. Even direct attempts to contact the CEO — who often chooses to invoke some drippingly personal story or reflection in his emails — went unanswered. So much for the sentimentality went it comes to servicing customers.

Regarding the service itself, I wouldn’t recommend it. Many of the job listings are already on LinkedIn and Indeed. Moreover, of those few searches that are truly non-public / confidential, recruiters are upset about these searches being publicly distributed by a third-party profiting from the practice. One recruiter I contacted was really angry and planned to investigate how his posting was leaked. ExecThread’s practices raise serious concerns for both users and recruiters alike.

Deceptive, sneaky business practices

Decent source of career opportunities, however very deceptive and hidden billing practices. Execthread sends no notices of renewals, no invoices, no receipts - they just sneakily process payment.

Scam Website Avoid

The website looks very professional, so you let your guard down for what is a basically a scam site with a large credit card charge buried in their fine print which is linked on other page.

What I found in my area was a bunch of recycled listings from other job websites, and in several cases those job postings were long expired. Absolutely no value for $49 a month at all. LinkedIn has thousands of relevant job listings and is charging me $22 a month for premium.

Most companies would do a refund if you were not satisfied, ExecThread will not. The credit card companies need to put a stop to this practice, no more monthly charges without an email or text before they charge you.

One of One Platform and Marketplace

The vision, value and impact of Exec Thread is one of one in the market. I am a big believer in the purpose of unlocking opportunity in a marketplace that is largely opague. I am unaware of any platform that creates career opportunities for leaders better than Exec Thread.

An excellent partner

My experience with ExecThread is more as a collaborator/partner than a job-seeker/user of their platform. For example, we partnered together to create a leadership webinar I hosted for their members. Extremely easy to work with, collaborative, and open to experimenting with new ideas to drive added value for their users.
