As a former international adventure guide, I feel uniquely qualified to share my experience as a client of Expat Holidays Thailand.

My wife and I contacted Lenny of Expat Holidays to seek advice on planning our bucket list trip to Thailand. We met virtually several times with Lenny for him to understand our desired expectations and outcomes better. He then proposed several itineraries that fit our needs and budget. We used his extensive knowledge and creative ideas to sculpt our 12-day trip of a lifetime that included Bangkok, the Kanchanaburi region, and Chaing Mai.

At each area of the trip, we had our own, personal, door-to-door local guide that was a wealth of knowledge and very sensitive to our interests and facilitated a day that was very flexible. Each of our guides quickly became our dear friend and it was difficult to say goodbye to. These guides were available with plenty of advice on local happenings and suggestions for restaurants, special markets, and “must-see” things that only locals know about and off the normal tourist paths. Not only did our local guides take such good care of us, but also the office staff checked in with us each day via text or FaceTime.

Working with Expats Holidays was a wonderful experience from our first contact. In fact, we have added to our bucket list another Southeast Asia destination, and of course we will be using ExPats. Lenny and his crew are first rate and have our highest possible recommendation.

Lenny, Vanda and their team put together an itinerary for a honeymoon I could only dream of. Every detail was thought out and planed so well, my husband and I could actually enjoy every moment of our trip. They were super accommodating with needing to change our date due to Covid restrictions and had great recommendations and tour guides. I would definitely use them again for future trips!

So grateful to have found this group! I discovered them through an app called Zicasso. I filled out my preferred location, date range, budget, and activities, and was presented with two itineraries from different travel agencies. Lenny's itinerary was phenomenal, filled with a variety of activities, superb hotels, and additional recommendations of things to do on leisure days. Since this was for my honeymoon, I must have emailed him over 50 times with ideas I gathered from friends and questions that came up. He was always quick to respond and willing to switch up the schedule to meet my needs. The trip was flawless. We felt like VIP (on a budget) the entire time. Very grateful for the all the details (private car reservations, meals included in activities, ocean view rooms with champagne welcome packages) that really made us relax the entire time!

We did 14 days in Thailand for our Honeymoon in November 2022. Lenny (and Vanda!) were an absolute rockstar team to work with. We could not be happier that our honeymoon was spent in Thailand and this amazing experience is something we owe to Expat Holidays. He helped us put together a customized itinerary for 2 weeks in 4 different locations (Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Mai, and Koh Samui). There wasn't a single moment throughout the trip where we weren't looked after by Lenny & Team. The organization (especially with transportation) was top-notch. I highly recommend Expat Holidays, Lenny, and his fantastic team to anyone else who is looking to put together an intimate, exciting, wild, or unforgettable time in beautiful Thailand!

My friend and I traveled for 14 days in Thailand and vietnam. Lenny helped us plan our entire trip there, and we loved every minute of it! Very communicative and easy to work with in the planning portion. I never felt that my questions (which were many!) were a hassle or bother for him to answer or look into. I appreciated Lenny’s honest opinions (for example about accommodations) and found his opinions to be spot on with what we would enjoy. Once we were on our trip, lenny and his team were great at not only staying in touch but also being immediately accessible. It was so nice to have everything planned beforehand such that we hardly had to “think/figure things out” while we were there. We could just focus on enjoying the experience and taking it all in!! I highly recommend Lenny & his team! You will be in good hands.

Lenny helped me plan an 11-day vacation Thailand for myself and my parents, who are in their 70s. He took the time to understand what types of accommodations and activities we preferred, and he provided an itinerary that combined the must-see tourist attractions with some really unique experiences. Our local guides -- Pat in Chiang Mai and Tong in Bangkok -- were most excellent. The Expat Holidays team checked in frequently during our trip to see how everything was and to provide logistical information. We felt well taken care of!

Lenny, Tiger, Kiki and Vanda were incredible. The whole team literally allowed my wife and I to turn off our brains and just enjoy everything Thailand had to offer. They knew exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon and executed. Professional, experienced, and most of all FUN! We will absolutely be going back and be only giving them our business. We have already convinced some of our friends to come with us the next time around and I have no fear they will make it just as great! Already excited for the next trip to Thailand.

Never had to use a agent before,
But was told that to get a Thailand Pass you really haveto use one, and pleased I did. I was lucky that I chose Lenny Lednev, nothing was to much of a problem. Advice given and always explained. You can use his services with confidence.
I wish him great success in the future.

I was having trouble getting the Thailand Pass organised and Lenny helped with the complicated red tape. For the price, it was well worth it, as the Thai government changes the rules at a minutes notice, which can throw plans into disarray.

Lenny and his team at Expat Holidays helped my wife and I plan our 14 day honeymoon to Thailand, during which we spent time in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Koh Lanta. We were paired with Expat Holidays through Zicasso and from our first introductory call with Lenny we felt very comfortable trusting him to plan a trip for us to an area of the world we were totally unfamiliar with. We were slow to commit to plans initially, but Lenny was very patient and continued to work with us through all of our planning questions and trip iteration requests in order to get us exactly what we wanted. Lenny worked within our budget to customize an itinerary that met all our criteria. Overall, working with Lenny during the planning process helped put our minds at ease and really focus on the excitement of our upcoming trip.
Although our pre-trip experience with Expat Holidays was great, where they really shined was once we got off the plane in Thailand. From the minute we got through security in Thailand we were taken care of by Lenny's team (drivers, tour guides, office staff, etc.). Our full itinerary was organized by Expat Holidays on the Trip Plans app and we got daily morning messages from Lenny's associate, Tiger, with necessary documents such as flight information, tickets for tours, etc. From a logistical standpoint everything was flawless and my wife and I barely needed to think about anything, we could just take in the sights and enjoy the experience.

In addition to the flawless planning and execution of the trip, we were paired with two incredibly tour guides during our time in Thailand, both of whom we will both never forget. During our time in Bangkok we spent nearly two full days touring with Vanda and wouldn't have changed a thing. From the first minute we met her she had a huge smile and helped ease us into our trip. She was a wealth of knowledge, answered all of our questions with ease and was always looking to help to find a great photo opportunity. In Chiang Mai we were paired with Sam. Once again, everything with Sam was perfect. He couldn't have been more friendly and did lots of small things during our tours to give us a unique genuine local experience. After only a short time with each of these guides, they truly felt like great friends.

We were set up with experiences, not just tours, that were intimate and felt genuine. We did lots of the typical tourist things in Thailand (street markets, elephant sanctuary, cooking classes, etc.), but there was an obvious effort made by Expat Holidays to make these experiences as genuine and customized as possible. Without Lenny's planning we surely wouldn't have taken a bamboo raft trip through the mountains of Chiang Mai during our trip to the elephant sanctuary. We likely would have ended up at a more commercial cooking class instead of the amazing experience we had at a local family's house learning to cook in Chiang Mai. Every activity we participated in through Expat Holidays clearly was developed with lots of thought and effort to create a great opportunity to experience Thailand in an authentic way.

I would recommend Expat Holidays for anyone who plans to visit Thailand, but particularly for those that aren't seasoned international travelers. Expat Holidays made everything so easy that we were never stressed or overwhelmed being on the other side of the world. Our trip was enhanced so greatly by having Expat Holidays on board, particularly with their local presence, and we couldn't imagine having went on this trip without their support.
