I organized with Explore Tanzania a two-week camping tour through the wonderful national parks of Northern Tanzania and Zanzibar for me and my daughter. It was an unforgettable experience! The organization was impeccable: the tour was tailor-made for us, with great attention to our needs and constant support that made us feel safe at all times. Our guide and the cook who traveled with us were not only outstanding professionals but also truly special people who, with their humanity and passion, made the journey even more unique. Explore Tanzania gave us the greatest wilderness experience on safari. We had an excellent guide, George who gave us the eyes and ears and nose to se the real world of Africa. The animals the people the country it was all so beautiful . All lodges and tent camps were very well organised the food was fresh and excellent by local people. We advise everybody to have Explore Tanzania as your organising guide for a trip around this beautiful country with its friendly people and its wonderful natur.

Selous Wilderness Camp was the best safari camp you can stay at in Nyerere! The camp is situated right on the river so we had great access to sunsets & boat safaris. Our boat safari group was the last one to stay by the sunset (& the only one where our guides brought tables, chairs, wine & a snack). The service at Selous was incredible. The Maasai's helped to walk us to our tent anytime it was dark and illuminated the pathway. Sifuni was an incredible server& always ready to assist in anyway. The food was SO good (every single meal I ate every last bite). The camp was very quite & peaceful as well. The first night there was another group there but the 2nd night we had all to ourselves. Kenneth, our safari guide, was the best! So knowledgeable about everything (animals, birds, trees, migration patterns, national parks & always so willing to answer any of our questions about Tanzania as well).

Choosing Explore Tanzania to plan and organize our trip to Tanzania was the perfect choice! We initially spoke over the phone to discuss what my husband and I were looking for in our honeymoon. We stayed in touch and communicated over email to make adjustments to the trip during the planning process as they were always happy to make changes for us if we changed our mind on something. They created a custom-made trip for us based on our desires and expectations. They did a wonderful job creating our itinerary, and they chose the perfect accommodations for us - right in nature, sustainable, but also full of comfort. The meals were delicious and homemade as well. While we were in Tanzania, the Explore Tanzania’s staff was great - friendly, always right on time, and knowledgeable! We saw so many animals while on the safari and enjoyed the heavenly beach of Matemwe Beach while in Zanzibar. Explore Tanzania was always quick to reply to my emails and messages before and during the trip. If you’re looking for help planning your trip to Tanzania, I definitely recommend Explore Tanzania!

Great service. Very responsive, helpful organisation. They really make sure your holiday will be amazing. The safari guide was nice, knowledgeable and very flexible.

We received a proposal which was perfect for our family. All lodges/ tent camp we stayed at had friendly employees, food was tasty and bunks were in good condition. Our guide and driver was a charming and friendly guy with a lot of knowledge of the area and especially the wild life. We had a lovely time and a beautifull experience.
