Very easy to use and takes the guesswork and hours of trolling through different websites to find good deals.

Warning: It can get very addictive trying to find places to go for a cheap price!

We booked an EDT to Copenhagen using the app and it was fantasic. We found flights from Manchester at reasonable prices and also a full itinerary for the day within the website and used that to plan our day. It was a tiring day but worth every penny.

The website is extremely easy to navigate and find cheap day trips with times an airlines with prices I will definitely use the website again to book more extreme day trips in the future

I have been doing Extreme Day trips for 30 years and I love using Skyscanner. After months of “thinking about it” I finally bought the extreme day trip subscription and I absolutely love it. It’s brilliant. With the paid subscription you can plan further ahead. They also have day trip itineraries and maps as suggestions for your trip. It could not be any easier. 5*****

Amazing website that makes it so simple to identify bargain flights from your favourite airport. We’ve just booked our first short break/EDT and can’t wait to book many more. Perfect for us 60 somethings who have a great wish to travel but might be time limited due to career and family responsibilities.

Received sn email from extreme dsy trips. Saw lanzarote achievable in a day. Booked through 3rd party to go out & firect with a different airline to return. Never done it before. So desperate for some sun. Arrive, changed into summer clothes. Stepped out into the sunshine. Bus stop just outside of airport. Stepped onto the bus. €1.40 & on the beach in 20 mins. Saw tables & umberellas. Chose a restaurant overlooking beach. Had a fab meal & drink. Walked along the promenade, visited some shops. Sat on the beach 22° & had a fab day. All went smoothly. Would reccommend. Do not hesitate, just go for it. If you do not you will miss out. Never been there before & glad I went. Already looking at my next few trips 😎

Love this website. It makes personalising searches easy & simple and has saved me loads of time. I can filter certain days of the week or places or times which I love. I’ve booked 2 EDTs so far after spending months trying to find the right deals. Support is also quick & helpful too if needed. Th day trip itineraries are also helpful.

Great website, super useful and does exactly what it says on the tin. Makes finding day trips sooooooo much easier than using skyscanner alone.

Great website, I have found 3 trips in a matter of minutes and was able to decide where to go on my avilable dates. No morr messing around with multiple websites and apps just to find a trip. You can book direct though the airline so you know your getting the best price and not a 3rd party cut.
My bag tag went missing in the post and they replaced it stright away no issues arrived just in time for my next EDT.

Best app I’ve ever purchased. After browsing the free version for 3 days, I knew I needed premium. 2 hours after upgrading, I’d booked my first EDT, Gatwick to Faro, for the bargain price of £32! The app has literally everything you could wish for - distances from airports to cities, full itineraries, baggage sizes for different airlines - no stone is unturned in helping you find the perfect trip. The flight finder is superb, and the results are immediate and accurate. I can’t wait to see more of the world!

I have just upgraded to premium and wow! I have used the website a few times as a free member and the benefits for that were amazing for finding EDTs, but I wanted to be able to search further in advance. Going from spending countless hours between various search engines, to using one single website, is a game changer. No more failed searches, frustration or spending too much time trying to find the best bargain.. everything you need is at your fingertips! Let's not forget the cost. Absolutely worth it! I would personally be happy to pay double because of just how much admin work this website takes away from me. EDTs for 2026 here I come :)

Shocking abuse of the planet. How is this ever encouraged? Mind blowing!

EDIT to respond to comments: Emissions are based on weight of the plane, so every person who travels is broadly speaking, significant extra emissions. Train travel will only be affordable once people stop flying, and without airlines seeing empty seats things will never change. Try telling your children you used to fly somewhere for a day trip and see the shock on their face in 5-10 years time. Travelling light and avoiding a breakfast is really meaningless, as the baseline carbon doesnt have these things in anyway!!

I love using ExtremeDayTrips.com for planning my next adventure. They do the hard work of finding cheap flights to manageable destinations for day trips or overnight .
We used for weekend away to lanzorate. Was great fun. Off to Dublin next week too .something I'd never done before joining this group
