Thankyou extreme locks for making a very stressful situation a lot easier. Locked my keys in my house and had someone out very quick to get me back in. Great service.

Act as middlemen who simply ring locksmiths in your area on your behalf. In addition to taking a middleman service charge of £40-60, they also gave the wrong car details to the locksmith they arranged (said was ford fiesta when it was a VW Golf MK7 - since they presumably know that this is VW dealer-only fix for this model, but still wanted to take the service charge). This is despite them asking which make, model and year of manufacture it was on the phone, and being told this along with the registration number, which also reveals the same information. The locksmith was as annoyed at his wasted time, as we were. They also have lots of dubious-looking, cheaply designed websites with different trading names and URLs but the same phone numbers to give the impression of local bases across the UK. Avoid.

Great company. Very professional and reasonably price, the mechanism on my front door lock had broken down I called extreme locks and they had an engineer out within the hour to rectify the issue.

Last night I lost my house keys at a family party and arrived home quite late with my wife and children to be locked out of our home. Extreme locks had somebody out within 40 minutes to get us in. This is a very professional and reliable company and will definitely be using them again if needed.

I was left in abit of a dilemma when I left my car keys in my hotel in Spain... I didn't realise until I was at the airport heading back home... I called extreme locks and they had an engineer waiting for me at the airport when I landed.. This is a great company and they made a very stressful situation a lot easier.

This is a great company to use the second time I have lost my keys in the last few months the first company I used were very unreliable and it took a long time to get my new key... But extreme locks had an engineer with me within 90 minutes and a new car key not long after that... I'm very happy thankyou. I will be recommending you to all my family and friends.

Absolute cowboys! Took £50 payment, didn't turn up, didn't let me know and wont refund my money. I trusted they would arrive, as you do when you pay for a service, so I didn't book another. Missed work, and subsequently a contract.

Do yourself a favour - go back to Google and search again for Auto Locksmiths in your area. There is absolutely no need to use this company, who are simply a middle-man. And not very good at it!

They took an £80 call out fee from my card and stated the locksmith would be with me within 2 hours. Turns out they couldn't find someone available in the area that night, but didn't phone me back to tell me this! It was only when I called after the 2 hour wait, that I was told by the gentleman that he was about to leave the office and he thought it had been sorted! Thanks for assuming - you left a woman in an isolated car park on her own for hours!

I then walked to a pub, got WiFi and contacted a local auto locksmith who had everything sorted within 45 minutes. Turns out he had been contacted by Extreme Locks earlier that evening but advised that he was unavailable - despite their assumption! He had just got home when I called and the only reason he accepted the job was because he knew that I had been waiting in the car park for hours at this stage.

I had to phone Extreme Locks at least three times to get a refund of the £80 call out charge, which despite their protests, I knew I was entitled to as they had failed to get anyone out to me - but from reading other reviews, I was lucky to get this at all! Avoid this company!

Rang them up not thinking to check reviews told me they could have someone out to let me into my car and cut me a new key (lost it being an idiot) within 2 hours they told me i had to pay a £60 cost upfront then £200 when job was complete said no problem and paid.

Got a phone call back after 10 minutes of paying saying they couldnt get anyone out until the next day i asked for a refund as that wasnt what i was promised woman said it was a non refundable booking fee which was never explained to me. She explained terms were on website but the website was blank (later discovered they have many different websites with slightly different numbers and only 1 had t&c's on - which didnt even say there was a booking charge/non refundable fee). Argument occured and was hung up on.

I ended up getting someone else out to my car who did the job and told me extreme locks are known for this its simply a husband and wife in a house being the middle man between u and the locksmith and taking lots of money just for a phone call. Was also warned that most of the locksmiths they use can't perform most of the jobs you need doing but will tell u on the phone they can and then refuse refunds.

Next day followed and this local locksmith rang me and said the job cant be done due to key codes not being known i explained id already got someone out and he then informed me that my car was booked in the system for 3 days later than originally promised.

Days followed many phone calls were had trying to get the £60 back i deserved id been through there terms and explained points they had violated and there response was 'they need updating'. They also claimed i had rang up and cancelled the job in the first place which is a lie.

Eventually got the money back after threatening court action as i have a Law degree and know what i was entitled too.

If you need a locksmith contact someone local avoid these.

Will be reporting to trading standards.

Additionally the 5 star reviews are either fake or they are from clients that needed simple jobs doing like being let into a car that had keys locked in, you will be charged £60 none the less which is hefty so go somewhere else.

Avoid them very dodge people send some dodge person to make a new key for me say it will boast 260 then claim she said to me 345 on the phone said it will take 1 day it take them 3 days on recipe given to me they were very rude on phone too and the person who show up after 7 hours waiting was very rode him self to he also make a lot of damage to my van plus unplug some wire and now it's not showing how much petrol I got left in the tank
They now don't replay to my messages and when I call they cancel me

avoid like the plague - we booked them to come out to our car and paid £60 deposit. An hour and a half later they called to say that the locksmith had had a phone call cancelling the call - I explained that we couldn't possibly have cancelled as we didn't know who they were sending. She said they could send someone else but it would be an extra £50 (£210 total) so i said no and to refund our money. They said yes but we are still trying to get this back. I would put no stars but there is no option. As I said previously avoid this lot like the plague

This company requires reporting to Trading Standards. I cancelled a booking with ample notice, but they claim they require £80 for generic administration charges - (For what ? Their inability to return phone calls, their poor telephone manner) Small claims court action required.
