Excellent eye exam, so informative and interesting

Simon was very friendly, knowledgeable, and detailed. Was open and honest throughout the whole eye test appointment. I would highly recommend.

Simon is passionate about eyes, just what you really want and need in an optician. Extremely knowledgable and helpful in explaining the details of the eye to you. Making you at ease from the outset, with an excellent bedside manner. You feel well supported and treated as an individual rather than being left feeling like cattle as you might at other chain opticians.

Simon was super friendly, thorough and very helpful. Prices at the end were surprisingly affordable and I definitely won't be using anywhere else in the future!

For the first time in years I needed to have an eye test and after many recommendations from friends and family I decided to go to Eyeworks. Simon was amazing. He gave a really in-depth and informative examination. Nothing was rushed - he was passionate and clearly a very skilled and experienced optician. Would fully recommend to anyone.

I would not recommend this business. It is only run by 2 people. Getting an appointment is difficult, how no none answers the telephone.

I couldn’t wear my contacts because of my allergies. I emailed them. They replied.

Your contact lens supply is part paid in arrears and in order to cancel your direct debit you have one more payment to clear on 21/9/2023.
Contact lenses cannot be returned to the suppliers and unfortunately no refunds can be paid to you.

I feel this response is unprofessional. I triedto get an appointment. No one answered. When I eventually did get an answer receptionist brung up that I had missed my appointment 6 months before which I feel is irrelevant. I get held up in traffic. I told her tried to ring 10 minutes before. She replied you didn’t leave a voicemail which I refuted that I left a voicemail for you and didn’t I get a reply!

I got the appointment burgundy. The optician said my prescription has not changed. I brought up the receptionist he wasn’t bothered! I went to another optician my prescription had changed!

Excellent service. Simon talked us through every part of the process and showed us our results on screen. Very knowledgable and efficent. Ordered new lenses and frames there and then, Highly recommended.

Simon is an excellent optician.
Clearly explaining every step of my examination and my treatment options regarding issues found with my eyes and referring me to specialist there and then. Cannot recommend highly enough, 5 stars seems insufficient.
