Enviz DB2 doorbell - a mixed experience
I ordered an Enviz DB2 doorbell online and was pleased with the speed of delivery.
However, I found the set up very tricky and was unable to get the camera function to work. I very nearly returned the product, but rang the product support helpline. The adviser was extremely understanding and helpful. I got the product working fully.
But - I am still not 100% happy with the product. Today, for instance, the PIR movement detector alerted me to a lorry passing down my street, but not to the arrival of the postman at my door. I am still experimenting with the position of the doorbell outside my house and with its different levels of sensitivity.

We are not sure about your actual installation environment but if it's a busy street, you may want to set the loitering period longer. If people tend to gather, you may need to adjust the angel of the camera by changing installation position.

Buyer beware
I would give zero stars if I could.
Absolute waste of time.
I purchased 2 x indoor cameras. Both failed within the 12 month guarantee period. Contacted EZVIZ 'customer service' or, may I suggest renaming this 'total lack of customer service'
They used delay tactics from the start.
I provided everything they asked for, photos of the cameras, serial numbers and the problem I was having
Next request, can I provide copies of the invoice - I did.
Next, can I try to reconfigure the device - impossible when there is no power and the camera is dead.
Next step, can I try device with no power in an alternative power cable...luckily (or not!) I had 2 cameras and 2 power cables, so I was able to do this...to no avail
Next step, refer me to an EZVIZ 'specialist'......who made the same requests as previous emails had asked
Next, escalate problem to EZVIZ VIP team!!!! 😆
'VIP' team request a video of the cameras ( obviously I have not explained the problem sufficiently to warrant a return for repair/replacement under the terms and conditions of the product guarantee.)
Unfortunately, the videos were too large to send as an attachment in an email, so I suggested I either send them by WhatsApp, or I upload them to Amazon product reviews for EZVIZ to view.
This wasn't good enough. They suggested uploading on 1 of 2 platforms I have never heard of/used.
The reply from the 'VIP' team was the exact same response/text content again, except Estelle had changed her name to Norman
I've wasted enough time, (3,5 weeks to date) and energy on this tin pot company.
What an absolute shower of s...e
Never again.

The doorbell was easy to install than I expected and after following a couple of videos off YouTube it was done. It linked to the WI-FI quickly and linking the chime was a doddle. Picture quality is very good and I have selected the middle level quality.
