Shireen is a wonderful teacher. She is knowledgable, patience to teach step by step, thoughtful and kind. Being good at a topic is very different than knowing how to teach to others, when the others are all different kind of people. She knows how to teach. So far, my daughter is very appreciative of her lessons. When she is happy and learning, we are happy.

Brilliant experience in customer service
After months of searching for a face-to-face English tutor, I tried EzyMathTutoring. The online process was quick and easy, and they matched us with a tutor within a few days. While the first tutor wasn’t the right fit for my daughter, EzyMathTutoring listened to our feedback and quickly arranged another tutor who suited her much better. The staff have been friendly and supportive throughout — I’d definitely recommend them if you’re struggling to find the right tutor.

We love EzyMath
We have been using EzyMath tutoring for months now. We first tried with the group style tutoring at the big known companies however for the same price we could get one on one at home, more quiet and in a space my son feels comfortable. They have been amazing to deal with. The one on one tutoring is exactly what my child needed. The weekly sessions always run on time and the invoice at the end of the month makes for easy payments. When our original tutor had to leave us they find us a new replacement one within a week and no appointments were missed. I highly recommend.

Amy is an excellent tutor who is calm
Amy is an excellent tutor who is calm, patient, and truly passionate about her work. She creates such a supportive learning environment where I feel understood and encouraged, and her ability to use real-life examples and share her own lived experiences as a former university student has made it so much easier for me to grasp even the most challenging topics. What sets Amy apart is the way she takes time to ensure I understand the foundations of each concept, gently testing my knowledge through thoughtful questions rather than simply providing answers, which has greatly built my confidence. She is always professional, punctual, and incredibly understanding when life’s responsibilities mean I need to reschedule, and her flexibility and compassion show just how much she values her students. I can confidently say that I am blessed to have Amy as my tutor — I prayed for a teacher like her, and God answered me.

Thanks so much for your feedback - that’s actually really valuable. We can’t believe we ended up looking like that company that just keeps calling and calling when someone’s not interested. I’m really sorry it came across that way.
From our point of view, this time of year can get a little intense - it’s when parents suddenly realise final exams or report cards are just around the corner and start feeling a lot more urgency, so we do our best to reach everyone quickly because timing can make such a big difference for students. That said, what you’ve described definitely sounds like we went overboard.
Most people just reply to one of our emails or SMS messages with a quick “thanks but no thanks,” and that’s all it takes for us to close things off straight away. In this case, it sounds like we missed the mark and reached out too many times, and that’s on us.
We’ve already reminded our team to be more mindful with follow-ups and to space things out better so we don’t overwhelm anyone, even unintentionally. Thanks again for pointing this out - it genuinely helps us improve how we communicate.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback - it sounds like we really let you down here, and I’m genuinely sorry for that. I can see that you actually had two tutors through us, both of whom you’d given great feedback to along the way. Unfortunately, the first tutor had to stop after a few months, which we know can be disruptive - it’s one of the biggest challenges in 1:1 tutoring.
You then started again with another tutor who was also a strong fit, but after a couple of weeks, they unexpectedly required surgery and had to pause. I can absolutely understand how frustrating that must have been, especially after the earlier interruption.
Of course, things like illness or emergencies are impossible to predict. Where we differed was when you asked for a full refund for all of the tutoring that had taken place - including the many months of lessons already completed successfully with both tutors. As I’m sure you can appreciate, we simply can’t refund for services that have already been provided. That said, we did offer replacement tutors and credits to help get things back on track.
It’s genuinely unfortunate timing, and we wish the circumstances had been different - if you’d been able to wait just a short while, that second tutor would have been available again post surgery and could have continued long-term. We’re now putting in place new policies to better support families in situations like this.
I do wish things had worked out differently, and I hope your children have since found a great ongoing arrangement.
