I've been waiting for the standard back…

I've been waiting for the standard back cushions for over two months. I've called in store on the phone and by email to resolve this but the customer care centre either do not get back to me or tell me a pack of lies. Last time they said they would be with me last Friday but guess what! Not got them.

Fabb futniture has a well known reputation for dishonesty

Fabb futniture has a well known reputation for dealing dishonestly with their customers. Lying and endlessly moving forward the furniture delivery dates.

Fab Furniture is serially abusing customers and getting away with it.The consumer protection agencies need to step in to put a stop to this.

Fab furniture does not deserve a 1 star.

Still waiting from May 2024; Furniture [sofa]
Item not arrived; no update.
customer have to invest time to keep on ringing them and still they don't have any idea when item will come.
almost 6 months now. Deposit paid in May 2024;
absolutely disappointing and painful and distressing experience. Highly NOT recommended to use this store.
Absolute waste of time and money. Poor customer care and no professionalism or courtesy.
Another date given after 6 months of waiting and this time, will seriously consider legal action now.

Painful Experience

Painful, I can't give a zero—absolutely the worst customer-facing business in the UK. It is best to only buy items in-store and not get into future-based purchases. We purchased beds for our home from them, and the salesperson promised items would be available in 3 weeks. It's been 6 weeks and counting, and no call or feedback from them. You have to call them to follow up on your items. I paid upfront, and that is my biggest regret. Look out for the NO REFUNDS POLICY. It's the only thing keeping them in business and above the law.

I wouldn’t recommend using Fabb…

I wouldn’t recommend using Fabb Furniture. Zero correspondence from customer service. We were told we would receive our sofa 17th October, phone call 1 week before to say it had been delayed a month. We have now been into store to make sure we are still on track to receive it this week, to find out we are now looking at next month. When you’ve paid a lot of money to a sofa, you expect to at least get a phone call to update you on its whereabouts. Rang customer service, to be spoken to by a rude man, not giving any apologies, or any form of compensation. Will not be using again, and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Please stay away COMPLETE INCOMPETANCE !

This would have been a zero, if possible. The staff in the shop were great ...... however customer service at head office is horrific. On the 25th October we were looking forward to receiving our table and 6 dining chairs. The delivery guys delivered the wrong colour table, no base to set up said table and 2 legs (one dark grey and on light grey). We had 2 chairs missing (only sent 4 and only 2 out of the delivered 4 were the correct colour) The delivery drivers left all the said items, believing it would all be rectified very shortly... I went into the shop and was advised to contact customer service, who quite frankly gave us no information lacked empathy and understanding and gave us no customer care. We then came into the Rotherham store on Saturday, they advised me to email in with pictures. I received NO response at all from my complaint, so I called again and spoke to Fabb on the 6th November, I work from home at the dining table .. and this was now causing me issues.
Our dining room has been completely out of action and full of useless furniture. The adviser was adamant that Fabb do not do REFUNDS, however, they reluctantly agreed to refund our funds - as it was now the 6th November and no one had been in contact with us and sent the following email :
Dear Mrs Barker

Following on from our phone this morning, Firstly, please let me take this opportunity to apologise for the issues you have experienced buying new furniture is not an everyday occurrence, and should be a pleasant and exciting time, so I am truly sorry this has not been the experience for yourself.

I can confirm that I have booked in collection of the good for the 15th November, As soon as this arrive back in with ourselves we will contact you to refund you the amount you have paid back onto your original payment card.

We apologise again for the issues you have experienced.

In the meantime if you have any further question please do not hesitate to contact us.

It is now 15th November at 13:48, I emailed again, as i hadn't received an email or text about the items being collected. I was told that the delivery driver had called in sick. I then explained that over the past 3 weeks the delivery company usually send 2 text messages ... the first one a couple of days in advance to notify you they are coming and to make sure you can be at home... and a second on as a reminder that morning. (I had received no messages either confirming or to cancel). I was this time told that (the manager) would need to 'investigate' this and will be contacting us by the close of business on Monday 18th November ... Who knows what will happen... but I have no faith or trust whatsoever left in this company. So it is now Monday at 17:45 I have received NO calls from the Manager at FABB (as promised) but have received a text from the delivery company for tomorrow (Tuesday 18th). I have not had time to chase FABB today, so will need to try to call them in the morning.... ONCE AGAIN - NON EXISTANT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

False Sales Promise/Scam

Fab furniture sales reps will do lots of ga ga about the warranty and different sorts of cover and claim that their products are covered however I see that their after sales service and sales reps are totally disconnect and in my case I must admit that they make all sort of FALSE PROMISES.
I purchased furniture worth of 15k however their dinning table and chair gone off within 6 months of purchase and after doing the followup with customer they are denying to do anything and making allegations on customer with no proper evidences.
You cant escalate within Fab Furniture as they don't share any detail with customers except the phone number which is useless.

You might get a good discount from Fab Furniture however I will always suggest to buy from somewhere else where furniture company doesnt treat their customer as a garbage.

If you are considering buying a Miller…

If you are considering buying a Miller suite 2 seater sofas from FABS DONT. We purchased 2 sofas which were delivered early August and they have proven to be the most uncomfortable sofas we
have ever bought. The cushioning is ridiculously thin due to the mechanisms below. We have raised the issue with FABS but they are not interested once you have purchased the product . Their customer service is appalling. There attitude is just get on with it. We would never buy from this company again .

Disgusting company

Disgusting company. Awful customer service. Absolute joke! Ordered 18 May this year. Given a lead time of 12 weeks. Week before delivery was due went into store as was by it only to be told its was delayed by another 6-7 weeks. Poor store people Mike and Terry did and try to help us as much as they could. The actual customer service team kept bouncing us back to the store guys who have no control and was confused why the CS team kept doing this. Tried to order a different suite as was told ours that we originally ordered was going to be delayed so the new one would arrive end of November only to be told it would now arrive 18th December…..7 months from the original order. Have now cancelled order and will await this poor excuse for customer services to call me as we have now gone to DFS. Thanks Fabb CS team for you amazing contact……oh just if one of them are reading this……that is sarcasm!

Poor after sales

Showroom great, ordered July, due week commencing 18th November, (17th week after purchase) emailed back end of September for an update and received call 3 days after to reaffirm 18th November, called today 12th November to find out rough delivery date to be told now due week commencing 9th December, asked why I wasn’t informed prior……after sales is poor at best, no confidence of sofa arriving on or by new date.
Will be exploring my options to cancel if delivery fails. Think very carefully before purchasing something from this company.

please read on ….
i have had the worst experience today with this shambles of a company !!!
originally received a phone call to say sofa in stock please pay outstanding balance , i asked when the sofa could be delivered and was told the following tuesday .
i then went to the store the very next day to pay balance personally and stood with the salea representative gareth and rang through to arrange the delivery for next tuesday baring in mind i was given no options for a date or time as this was the only day he was in my area . Like most people i then had to take a day off work - and also remove my sofas ready ( as they don’t take away another annoyance ) ready for delivery .
fast forward to tuesday delivery day -
and by 12 pm not heard anything so worriedly rung head office - only to be told it’s booked in for the following week . I now have no sofas - a day off work taken , and £99 delivery charge down for a sofa that hasn’t arrived . To top things off i have been offered no help to get this delivered -to me as a point of urgency - they just don’t care !!
I can’t wait a week sitting on the floor - it’s not good enough , nor should i have too .
I would never use these people again , i will be going back to DFS at least they can organise a delivery . Joke .

We bought a 3 piece suite from them and all went well until there was a problem with the leather on a chair Customer service is dire, rude and all they want to do is fob you off and don’t care what you have to say They charge you £72 to get someone to come and look at the problem( it actually costs them £30 so they are profiting again from you !)
Peeling of the leather is NOT a manufacturing problem according to them It’s your fault because your body exudes oils Sorry but all humans do that My chair is less than 2 years old Their lifetime’ guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on Their insurance that we paid nearly £200 for so that we would be covered for any problems or damage by body fluids pets etc etc ( but not peeling leather on the headrest that is our fault) Just don’t believe them at the point of sale In fact do not go into their shop if you expect good customer service and sales people who tell the truth
My application against the insurance was refused as it was not an ‘accident’ but it is not a ‘manufacturer failure’ either So much for the sales lady saying ‘you will be covered for anything’ We have paid independently to have it done …..
The customer service are unhelpful and rude and even though I put in a complaint about the service I received they have not had the good manners to answer KEEP WELL AWAY Post Script The pads on both chair seats are not standing up to us sitting on them and need for us to pay again for them to be repaired as I don’t want to deal with ‘customer’ service again

Ordered the furniture in May 24 told it…

Ordered the furniture in May 24 told it would be delivered in July. To cut a long story short after phone calls emails we were eventually given a delivery date of 8th November, yes November! The day before delivery we received a phone call to say that due to logistics they now couldn’t deliver until another 2 weeks! They’ve got you nothing you can do other than complain, they already have your money so they don’t actually care. More phone calls, emails and all of a sudden they can now deliver! So much stress it just isn’t worth it.
Don’t buy from this company!

We are still waiting for our sofa…

We are still waiting for our sofa purchased in August. We were told 6 weeks, we purchased to list our property for sale. It's been 3 months. No progress. I regret parting £1300 to this company. Customer service is useless if you are willing to wait for over 30 minutes to get the phone answered. Sale is fast, everything else has been very poor 😢

In the store we were promised a 3 week delivery. After the shock of the standard exorbitant £100 delivery add-on, we were told this fee was to cover delivery, installation, and removal of all packaging including the old bed head.
In reality the goods were not delivered until five and a half weeks(almost double) the time quoted in store. Further the delivery crew did not bring any fixing bolts, so the new headboard was not installed. In addition not all the packaging was taken away including the old headboard as promised. The driver rang his "team leader" and it was agreed that the missing bolts would be delivered, and the headboard installed the next day. We are still waiting for a contact from the "team leader"
Our conclusion is that your company tells lies, and does not keep to its promises, as well as over-charging for sundry items. Consequently we have resolved never to buy anything more from FABB, and to tell all of our friends and neighbours never to buy anything from you

Joke of a company

If I could give this company no stars then I would. I’ve had an ongoing issue with some wardrobes that I purchased last year that have not been fitted correctly.

I’ve been lied to, ignored and just treated with no respect at all. I’ve had call centre staff hang up on me as they didn’t know how to deal with the issue.

Avoid this company and take your business elsewhere

Faulty dining room chairs

Purchased a table and chairs and 2 sofas all at the same time from the Lowestoft store 2 years ago , within 8 weeks of delivery 1 of the swivel dining room chairs broke which they replaced. 10 months later 2 more broke ( same fault ) they replaced them. at the time of this happening I spoke to the customer care team and said I’m not happy that this keeps happening there is obviously a fault with the design to which I was told any further problems then I could choose a new set of chairs . A few weeks ago another chair broke a spring had gone on it , this chair is one of the replacements from earlier this year . Fabb furniture sent someone out today the spring will be replaced but they will not replace all chairs with a different set . I spent a lot of money with this company but sadly will not be buying from them again .
Staff at the Lowestoft store were very helpful when selling me these items and delivery etc was great but the lifetime guarantee not worth the paper it’s written on .

Not Fabb Furniture ....What a load of rubbish furniture! Do not buy!

Buyer Beware
What a load of rubbish furniture for the price of £1500.00 over a grand for shoddy flat-pack faulty furniture. The customer service is non-existent.

I have sent 11 emails so far and have been completely ignored. I have written a formal letter with a timeframe and still no reply. Will be going through credit card company or courts.
So much for the raved reviews.

I am asking for them just to sort it out. I have even quoted their obligations under the Consumer Act 2015 section 75 where between 31-60 days they either have to replace repair or refund. Still being ignored.
I am giving them time to respond as it stipulates but at the moment nothing happening .

Buyer Beware!!!!
