We know that when you’re looking for furniture, you’re looking for sofas, dining, beds and bedroom furniture that’s fabulous. You see, we chose to call our company Fabb because we know we can make each and every piece of our furniture Fabb for you. Much of it is made by our experts in our own workshops (we can say ‘experts’ because we’ve been making furniture for 150 years). Not only can we control the design and quality, we can also keep costs down by cutting out the middle man. We know that only when you get the look you are after, at a quality you can see and touch, and at a price that’s good, you will say … that’s Fabb! We believe every house should be a home and every home should be filled with furniture you love. Your home is where our heart is.

"Buyer's Beware
"Extremely disappointed and now concerned for our safety with our £1,500 dining table from FABB Furniture. We purchased it in December 2024, and within just six months, it has become completely unstable. This isn't just a quality issue—it's a serious safety risk. The screw holes have degraded, so the legs are loose and the table is so dangerously wobbly that it could collapse and cause any injury.
We raised our concerns with customer service, and an inspector was sent out. Their conclusion was that this is not a manufacturer defect that we completely disagree. I like to attach photos so that anyone can see the problem with their own eyes and judge for themselves whether this is a fault in manufacturing or a failure of quality of the materials though, their no option for me to attach photo's. Let me know, If anyone knows.
This experience has proven that FAB Furniture sells substandard products and then refuses to stand by them. We are beyond frustrated and feel this is a clear case of a company ignoring a serious safety hazard. Rating their service 0/10."
Stay Clear
Bought a single mattress in Jan 2024 delivered April 2024 after many excuses, fast forward August 2025 mattress has already started coming away at seams, poor stitching, was told need to pay £75 non refundable charge for technician to come out, Which ok but if manufacturing fault will not reimburse, lifetime guarantee on mattresses what a joke, stay clear of these cowboys
I recently placed an order through the…
I recently placed an order through the Watford Store, formerly known as Fabb Furniture, and was assisted by the manager. I ordered a sofa and two armchairs. Unfortunately, I was not informed that the sofa would arrive in one piece, which presents a challenge for delivery due to the typical dimensions of UK homes. Today, the delivery arrived, and the sofa, which was pre-assembled at their warehouse, could not be placed in the desired room. I was not made aware of this single-piece delivery during the ordering process.
Now manager is lied and said you sign our terms and it shows picture of sofa. By looking at sofa picture how would one assume ot will be one piece delivery? Isnt it there job to tell customer before taking money?
Now worst thing is for cancelling order they charging 35% of order value which is £1000 approx.
I urge not to buy from this company as you see there previous review are not good as well. After sale doesn't exist.
Go to DFS they give better service.
Ordered two sofas from fabb furniture
Ordered two sofas from fabb furniture, good experience in the show room ,Ordered in March delivered in June that's when the problems started the sofas that turned up were not the same standard as the one show room , far from it the sofas where put together by the delivery company who messed it up fitted the sofas wrong ,complained to the company, they sent a technician around to put the problems right ,the guy tried his best but couldn't manage to correct the problems ,so we asked for a refund, after the run around by customer services we were offered a replacement, this we declined stating we wanted our money back and the sofas returned, then after being given the run around and found out the company we were dealing with was actually Nick Scali and Australian company got no joy from there customer services and told there was no chance of getting a refund, have referred the case to trading standards will have to se how we get on ,
Do Not buy from Fabb Furniture
Do Not buy from Fabb Furniture. They have also changed their name recently funny that. They are uncaring and once you have bought something that's it. I bought a table that was white and it's not been a year it has already discoloured and is now yellowey. This table has also been discontinued. They offered a little money and keep it or a credit note to get another table. I've explained there's not a lot of choices in their shop they didn't seem to care. Please guys I'm serious try not to buy anything from there. It's a money making company only once they get their money you're on your own.THEY DONT EVEN DERSERVE A 1 STAR BUT THERE NO OPTION FOR NO STAR
Wrong mattress delivered and company not accepting it
Bought a bed frame and mattress for a total cost of £2700.
When I visited the store I purchased a medium firm mattress which was worth £800.00.
Initially the delivery date they gave me was after 2 months which I accepted. 1 week prior to the delivery date they informed me that there is going to be a delay of another month.
Once the mattress arrived it was extra firm, I complaint and they sent an engineer to check. I asked the engineer if this mattress is medium firm or not and he replied saying "just stick to your words as this is definitely not medium firm.
I continued to complaint and they at the end said that it can take up to 6 months for the mattress to soften.
It was a 3 months of calls, emails, driving 20 miles to the store and back. Everyone was super unhelpful and they mislead you with their products.
I paid £800.00 for a product which I have never received as showed in store. Now I am left with a bad back. I suggest everyone to never use this company!!!!!
Do not touch Fabb Furniture (now Nick Scali) with a bargepole!
See other reviews re this company (and Nick Scali), who have taken them over, and take notice of reviews AFTER ordering. It would take too long to report the issues we have had. Suffice to say that customer service doesn't exist. BE WARNED. Look at Trustpilot reviews, especially Nick Scali, Australia.
Poor Quality/ Warranty not worth the paper its written on !!
Bought an expensive dining room set ( £2,500 ) with leather bench plus extra warranty. Stitching on bench came undone within a couple of months and a technician repaired, a few months later same stitching came undone, now the warranty company wont repair as they say its wear and tear and not a manufacturing default to which it clearly is ( the leather is pulled too tight around the seat of the bench ). We paid a lot of money for this furniture and it looks terrible, Fabbs customer service and Castelan warranty really unhelpful, as a loyal customer of AHF/FABB for the last 20 years we wont be purchasing from here again

We recently bought a corner sofa until from the Watford store. We visited twice as it is a big decision and we didnt want to rush the process. We were not pushed at either time to make a decision . The staff were really helpful with Lilia in particular assisting us with our purchase. Nothing was too much trouble is helping us with our purchase.
No warranty on a 4 month old mattress
A 90-year-old purchased a single 3ft mattress after advice from the saleswoman on how well made it was and its suitability to an older person, Alvis Coventry, along with their lifetime warranty. Paid £849 for the single mattress, plus £100 delivery. Mattress lasted about 4 months when the internal springs split apart creating a 60mm gap. Fabb eventually sent out their own assessor after two weeks, he agreed that it was faulty and would need to be replaced. Fabb took another two weeks to decide what they would do, then announced that we could go back to the same store, but under a different name (Nick Scali) Alvis store, Coventry, however, they didn’t sell mattresses, stated they didn’t have to offer another mattress, but a credit note to buy something else, when I advised that the now 91 year old didn’t need a marbled effect dining table that would seat 6, just another mattress, the guy said, take it or leave it, we can offer £70 to your account and you dispose of the mattress. We have had to go to Bensons For Beds, £15 Delivey, to get another mattress. It’s a complete scam that they do not offer another mattress or a refund to purchase elsewhere. He has now used the credit note as they said it only lasted 30 days then no further offer would be made, Buyer beware, buy from them if you choose, but if you have read this, you only have yourself to blame when it goes wrong. This wasn’t anything to do with Nick Scali, but Fabb Furniture.

Needed a new sofa so did the usual rounds of all the furniture stores. Met Russell at fabb in Watford. Great service, friendly, informative, accurate information. Never too pushy but available to answer any queries we had . Chose a sofa, delivered as promised, very happy with product and service

Follow up to my review of 17th May:
The Sofa, damaged on delivery in November 2024 and eventually repaired with a replacement recliner mechanism in April 2025 has broken again with exactly the same problem. I'm not even bothering to contact their so-called customer service department because I know it's just futile to do so. They'll just fob me off or tell more lies about a lifetime guarantee that's not worth the paper it's written on. And I'm still waiting the promised (in writing!) £100 compensation offered some months ago by a member of their staff signing off his email as "manager". They're a sad joke and the company a cowboy operation. that really should be closed down. Does it's new Australian owner really know what a shambles he's actually invested in I wonder? Whatever, as I said before, ,BUYER BEWARE! Avoid Fabb furniture like the plague it is.
Not a satisfied customer
MK shop. We purchased a corner sofa but asked to purchase an extra consul and the salesmen advised that it could go where we wanted it to and the sofa was completely modular. Delivery was not within the time we were given. On receiving the sofa There was an issue with the stitching which was dealt with very quickly. However we realised that the consul could not go where we discussed. I have now been bounced between customer service and the shop at least 4 times. Latest was that the shop was going to call me 5 days ago and unfortunately this hasn’t happened. We can see this should be resolvable and have even said we would pay to put it right… so unfortunately I’m currently stuck with a £3k corner sofa where it’s virtually impossible to sit in the corner.
Terrible experience start to [nearly] end
What an awful experience to date, and we've not even received the sofa ( hopefully we will, but...)
In-store experience the salesman can only be described as rude and disinterested, we're now wondering why we trusted this lot with our cash! Yes, a letter of complaint to head office was submitted and ignored!
Now this brings me to delivery, and an even bigger joke, but not a funny one! We've paid our money, made two phone calls to Fabb to be fobbed off, oh you should receive a phone call by the end of the week, well we ask, will that be Saturday? It could be, but the delivery company (WS Transportation) are a little strange so it could be Monday. Well today is Tuesday and still no contact, not even from fabb checking how everything is proceeding.
Oh how I wish we never experienced this dreadful organisation and went elsewhere.
One day we might receive our sofa, and hopefully it is better than the ordering and delivery process.
Don't buy from fabb, you'll regret it!
Absolutely awful experience
Absolutely awful experience. Just bought a dining table with 4 chairs on clearance. On delivery, table was noted to have deep scratches on table top which were not there at the point of purchase. Upon contacting the Lincoln store, the sales rep was extremely rude, refusing to listen to anything saying that it was display item and hence sold as seen. Definitely NOT recommended.
Item has been delayed and we don't know…
Item has been delayed and we don't know when it will arrive. When we brought the item it was in stock!
We wanted to cancel the item but told we can't and we just have to wait. Customer Service very unhelpful and didn't really care just kept repeating same thing. Do not buy from this company they have NO customer service and really don't care once you have ordered. The store have tried to be helpful but the company itself doesn't care about customer satisfaction.
Bought a sofa from Fabb Furniture and…
Bought a sofa from Fabb Furniture and it’s been nothing but regret since. The quality is shockingly poor – cheap parts, flimsy construction, and nothing like what was advertised. Even worse, their aftercare service is appalling. I was met with a dismissive attitude and zero effort to resolve the issue. The staff at the office were rude and clearly not interested in helping customers once they’ve made a sale. Save yourself the hassle – shop elsewhere.

I ordered my sofa and comfy chair 11 January 25. After a lot of phone calls and a visit back to the store I bought it from in wednesbury it arrived today 2nd June. Unfortunately the sofa is broken so had to go back. Am I angry you bet I am. Customer service said they will be in touch in 5/10 days. Omg I hate this company please if you want to keep your sanity don’t but off fab furniture
Been waiting for our sofas since…
Been waiting for our sofas since placing an order early February. Delivery time was meant to be 12 weeks, it's not been 16 weeks. I called them last week to ask what's happening and they said we're waiting for items to be delivery from main depot to local depot. I call again today and now they're saying they've been waiting for an outstanding payment to complete to process. This was never mentioned to me on my previous call to them, no one bothered to inform us of this or inform us when a planned delivery would take place. No compensation is being offered considering we've been waiting 4 more weeks than we originally had to. Will not be shopping with fabb again.
