Delivery delayed by 4 months

Delivery delayed by 4 months. Ordered in august and told 8 week wait. Called them end of October and they said it was delayed by 2 weeks. Called them 2 weeks later and said delayed by 4 more weeks. And now I'm being told it can't be delivered until 7th Jan. They are refusing to give any sort of reimbursement for the delay as well

been waiting since May 2024…

ordered in May was told 12 weeks still not got our suite latest proposed date is Christmas Eve , worst service from a manufacturer i have ever encountered staff show no sympathy as they must have irate customers phoning all day would never recommend this terribl shamble of aa company.

Positive

I have seen bad reviews online so I thought I would counter these with my positive review. The service we received was very good. The furniture we ordered arrived earlier than we had hoped and came well packaged. The 2 gentlemen that assembled the sofas today did an excellent job and the original sales service we received from the Milton Keynes branch was also very good despite them being exceptionally busy at the time. The salesman was very informative and helpful. Would recommend.

Very bad communication

Showroom sales was great ordered a sofa chairs and a foot stool I was told it would be a few weeks for delivery had a update with my delivery to the date and time slot 1 hour after slot I called to find out where my delivery is they said been held up in traffic nothing showing on app for tracking called the delivery man on the phone number supplied no answer . Eventurely got a call 5 minutes before delivery which was 2 1/2 hours after slot. The guys unloaded the van then to tell me the backs for the sofa had not been put on van. They reported it to fab and I called them customer service and they told be they would call me back. Which they didn’t next day I called again same again customer service said they was trying to find it and they will call straight back which they didn’t no communication what so ever like hitting your head against a wall trading standards will be notified never use again

-5 stars if i could. Worse company ever dealt with.
NO communications what's so ever unless i call for an update.
I do have a case after being guided by the Ombudsman. That's a positive.
Lets see what happens on the 30th December-24 after waiting 6 months and counting to receive furniture.
I wonder if the company CEO ever see's these concerns from customers who pays his wages ? mmmm intriguing.....

Poor customer services, massive delays

The staff in the show room were very friendly and helpful, and could answer all our questions.
The staff told use the furniture could take 3-4 months to be delivered, we had no issues with that and then things started to go wrong.

Four months past and no contact from Fabb customer services, so I contacted them, I was told their had been a delay by a few weeks, one month gone, still nothing, I called customer services again, more delays, Told I will have the delivery by 18th December.

Fabb customer services contacted me yesterday and now I will not get the delivery until the New year, so in total we have been waiting for seven months for the delivery, unless more delays.

If I knew how poor the customer services were and massive delays, then I would not have chosen Fabb stores.

If I could give 0 stars I would.

Ordered our sofa on 1st June. FINALLY got a call earlier this week to tell us they had it in the warehouse. 13 weeks turned into nearly 6 and a half months. You'd think if someone had waited more than twice as long for their sofa you might attempt to prioritise delivery.. nope. Got to wait nearly 2 weeks for that as well. Offered one delivery day this side of Christmas. No willingness to even try and move some stuff around. Absolutely awful customer service. Not even a sniff of compensation.

Whole experience stinks. Which is a shame because the people in store were lovely and the the guy on the phone, though seemingly unwilling or unable to attempt to help in any way, delivered the bad news with empathy.

Damage on Delivery and still no payment

I recieved the two sofas on 01/11. Serious damage to the hallway and walls caused by delivery team. Was told we would be compensated by support team after i sent quotes and images of damage which i did immediately.

I chased a few times over the month and kept getting told I would get a call back. I mentioned urgency as we are nearly at christmas and the damaged handrails etc. Talked to Amir yesturday who said they need the Vat number... (this can be found online and normally firms only include this at invoice not on quote) and then tried the excuse of why didnt i mention it sooner about damages (he was trying to close matter and claim) as he said without these two things it would not proceed. I told him i informed them straight àway on the day. He asked why i had signed off on delivery without mentioning issues. I told him well its lucky that i took a picture of the delivery form with commmentary of the damage caused! Fabb furniture or the courier company are lying (or both).

By the way when we originally bought the sofas we were told they used in house delivery team.. (so we were lied to here too)

i am quite shocked here at the disorganisation of their support team and if you are considering purchasing from this firm think twice!

I have sent them all the proof they need and i am beyond disgusted.

Fabb Furniture: A Customer Service Nightmare

Frustrated with Fabb Furniture customer service. Scheduled a delivery for a property I can't access yet without my consent. Despite repeated attempts to reschedule, their customer service team has been unresponsive and unhelpful. #badcustomerservice #disappointed

Disgusting service

We ordered a 4 piece sofa 2 chairs and a pouffe on 25th April 2024 and still waiting delivery this has taken 8 months so far disgusting service contacted head office several times and just keep getting fobbed off and last 2 emails no response

After a terrible experience from buying from these being told it was over used when the problem was there delivery driver putting the feet on wrong.
I'm now trying to get in touch but just been ignored

A faulty sofa (the recline function did…

A faulty sofa (the recline function did not work) was delivered to my eldery parents house. My parents told the private delivery company that they did not want the sofa. The delivery company told my parents that that was not possible. My parents spoke to Lila at Fabb Furniture in the Watford Branch and they effectively forced my parents to have a repair. They pushed this option onto my parents even though they asked for a refund.

I have spoken to the Manager at Fabb Furniture Watford branch (Russell) today who was very unsympathetic and unhelpful. He said that my parents have now accepted a repair and are not entitled to a refund unless the item cannot be repaired.

So now we, like many other customers it seems, are in limbo waiting on a repair. From the reviews of other customers I think could take a long time.

Fabb Furniture head office is also incorrectly telling us that the Consumer Rights Act prevents them from giving us a refund once a repair has started. I doubt that legislation prevents a company from affording more rights to an indiviudal - I am sure this is simply just Fabb Furniture's company policy but yet again they are giving inaccurate information to customers.

Extremely poor aftercare services. Have been on the phone this morning for 35 minutes trying to get an update on the repair. Don't buy from them.

I bought a corner sofa in April 2023…

I bought a corner sofa in April 2023 and within six months I sank down when sitting down. I contacted them and they sent someone out to check the sofa. They said it needed new cushions. New cushions arrived and it seemed better, then within a few months the same problem. The same person came out to check and said “I’ll tell them it needs higher density foam cushion “. Then in his report he said “no further action needed “. I bought this sofa partly because I was told by the salesman that it was made in the UK (in a factory in the north of England), only to be told later this sofa was bought in, so no idea where it was made. Fab furniture have washed their hands of this problem. So I had to put wooden supports under the cushions to stop them sagging. Don’t waste your money shop somewhere else.

Worst store in Stratford-upon-Avon …

The worst companion in stratford upon avon.
We hope that no one has the experience that we are having with this company. We were deceived by the seller and manager
We got around £4000 pounds and nothing was delivered as it was bought.
Carpet was placed another color and another Quality (this was said by the guy who was laying the carpet)

The manager did not hesitate to do anything simple but ignored our complaint and what was said by the employee is that the manager does not want to know if it was wrong or not.

Worst Companhia em Stratford-upon-Avon We never want to buy anything in this store again, lies are not part of our lives.

Absolutely shocking company

Absolutely shocking company, avoid at all costs, I bought a chair from them and it was faulty, they took it away to mend and it was exactly the same, they now say that I cant have a refund as its against their policy even though the style of chair has been discontinued so I cant have a new replacements. The so called account manager refused to put me through to a manager saying nothing will change no matter who I speak with.

Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service. Waiting for delivery which said 6 weeks to arrive, now its 13 weeks and they still say Waiting for its release?. Be honest and give time, be easier on everybody. I never use these again. 😡😡😡
