James and his amazing talented team turned an ugly sloping section of our garden into a beautiful, functional wet/utility room extension. I recently hired Fabuliser for a renovation project and found the workmanship solid and professional. Communication was clear, and the workspace remained tidy throughout.

James has done a number of jobs for us, and is always friendly and helpful. Works include adding ventilation to a garden office (his advice understood the aesthetics as well as the practical needs), and hanging a garden gate in an awkward space. He is about to remove a redundant wood-burner flue and to make good the affected areas of the ceiling (slats of pine) and walls (exposed breeze blocks).

James carried out a variety of works for me at a rental property in West Norwood, most notably correcting some previously poor workmanship—particularly with the bathroom tiling and external windows, which now both look great. He also fitted kitchen units neatly against uneven walls and offered considered suggestions when I asked about improving the property layout. These ideas were implemented, and the property is now much improved. His prices were reasonable, and I found him personable, reliable, and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend him.

James transformed my hallway by removing a wall and building a new side for the stairs, complete with bannisters and clever storage. His creativity, practicality, and exceptional attention to detail truly stood out throughout the project. The work was completed with minimal disruption, and the site was kept tidy, with rubbish cleared promptly and efficiently.

James is a pleasure to work with—polite, friendly, and highly communicative from start to finish. He brought my vision to life perfectly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for any project.

James did quite a lot of work for me in my flat from laying wooden floors, decorating and fixing my sash windows. His workmanship was excellent. He talked everything through, was punctual and very tidy. I would definitely use him again if I needed any work doing.

We had a study replastered and painted and a small bathroom redone.
James is a skilled craftsman with multiple talents. He has a creative mind and is capable of producing some cool concepts as well as execute them to a high standard. We were generally very happy with the work. He is a nice person as well and we enjoyed getting to know him. Thanks!

He fixed our outside storage door and fence that was decimated in the storms, has done an incredible job painting the ceiling to completely cover a former repair and lots of other niggly but delicate work too, all immaculate!

James is very good at what he does. He pays great attention to detail. He did my daughters bedroom to a high standard. Worth the money if you want the job done well!

James was quick to respond and could fit us in straight away which was great. Pleased with the work he did in our bedroom - fitting skirting board and helping to fit some new sliding doors on a fitted wardrobe. He’s punctual, polite, friendly and cleaned up and left the place tidy which was great!

We found James on the local Crystal Palace facebook group and I can’t recommend him or his work highly enough. He’s hard working, creative, is a great finisher and is very personable. He undertook a selection of work including brickwork, boarding under our stairs and renovating our horrible pebbledash porch with plaster board cladding that looks like wood when he painted it - it looks stunning. We are so impressed he is doing a second batch of renovation for us this summer.

Retiling bathroom wall, floor and installing new shower. Excellent quality and there was no problem in fixing any minor snags. I would happily get James in again for any job. Recommended
