I telephoned for advice this morning. very polite and friendly response, but to answer my question it needed a call back. I was called promptly by Jerry who was extremely helpful and generous with his advice and it is clear there is a wealth of knowledge and expertise when it comes to marine engines and Volvo in particular. My boat is in Scotland so not too easy for FBY to fix but with their online service for parts and being at the end of a telephone it all makes the job a lot easier. I would definitely recommend this company for parts and service, quite outstanding in this day and age of mediocrity .

Have used FYB for many years always a good service. As a 'none' engineer i have particularly appreciated the unstinting time given to providing advice. Over the last month have been diagnosing a problem with the boats cooling system, much time on the phone, visits to FYB for more advice and to pick up parts, including help in getting parts not held in stock, e.g.raw water pump ordered in the afternoon, delivered next morning. All this while bring boat from Scotland to Falmouth. Within 24 hrs of getting to Falmouth engineer on boat, new pump fitted and tested (video to prove it) plus a really helpful report on the general condition of the engine.
Seems to me you pay a little extra for branded parts but for me the service and advice you get from FYB is pretty well priceless. Thank you Jerry Sarah and Steve. Exceptional service with a smile.

Just received another order from FYB. Advice is always excellent - delivery accurate and prompt.

Over winter, I had my boat re-engined. The whole experience was seamless from Jerry's in depth knowledge over the engine selection and the excellent engineering work undertaken by Matt and Adam. The install exceeded my expectations in many ways especially in terms of time taken and communication during the entire process.

Outstanding customer service. I came with a Volvo MD2030 problem, I got the advice I needed on confirming the issue and how to sort it. Then I got the parts I NEEDED (without trying to sell me any I DIDN'T need) delivered to a north of Scotland address within 48 Hours. Based on this and previous experiences, I cannot recommend FYB highly enough

What great customer service! I live in Australia, had some questions about parts for my Volvo Penta, could not find answers locally and Jerry took the time to reply to my questions and directed me to buy from my local dealer! If this is the customer service he gives to non-customers, you MUST use them

For the very first time Lyme Bay Boats attended FYB to collect a vessel for Morgan Marine... The Initial lift time was booked for 10:00 am..
The lovely Sue, knowing full well that we had a long journey ahead kindly brought the lift forward to 08:00am ...What a star !!

Arriving at 08:00am I was astonished . The FYB Team were in full flight 'Bing, Bang,Bong !!' they loaded the vessel in minutes - assisted in the securing, all with a Happy Smile !!! - Not only that- Team Leader Sue even offered me breakfast -all to which I declined !! - Please invite LBB back for any transportation - Breakfast on LBB 😂 😂

Parts ordered shipped and delivered 3,500 miles away in just 72 hours door to door. FYB Marine is my supplier of choice when OEM parts are required quickly to keep my boat (home) in the water and performing as it should. Whether ordering on-line or calling direct, FYB staff are always helpful and knowledgable. I would recommend FYB Marine to anyone who needs genuine parts and accessories for their vessel, big or small.

FYB deliver branded essential spares and equipment quicker and cheaper than other dealers. They deliver reliably. Using the requested tracked Royal Mail to the Highland and Islands of Scotland, we had delivery in under a week. Online experience is good but also Jo and Sarah with Jerry were patient getting technically trickier parts. FYB are now our go-to firm as we ready for next season. Very good service - FYB identified the correct prop which they had in stock, arranged special delivery to Fowey and saved us being stuck over the bank holiday weekend

Friendly, very helpful staff. First class engineering facilities. Reasonably priced. They really do go that extra mile to help.
All in all it is a pleasure to have my boat berthed at Falmouth yacht brokers and I highly reccomend them to others.

Amazing service from FYB Marine. Phoned to check for a new prop seal to be delivered to Lochinver in far NW Scotland. Sarah took the order and got it dropped at the post office to make a next day Royal Mail - delivered the following afternoon which up here in the Highlands is remarkable. Thank you!

I had a really frightening experience with a nearly new Volvo Penta marine engine: it wouldn't stop, the starter motor was engaged and running and smoke was pouring from the engine compartment.

Despite the fact that I was in the Mediterranean, FYB could not have been more helpful. They quickly (and accurately) diagnosed that it was a problem with the MDI (control unit), checked whether it was covered by a product recall notice (it wasn't) and immediately shipped me a replacement part (the dealers in the Med. said they couldn't get one for weeks - and even then couldn't promise anything because it was out of stock).

Jerry could not have been more helpful (and knowledgeable). Sarah, who arranged the replacement part, was efficiency personified.

This is the first time I have been moved to submit an online review. I am doing so because they really went the extra mile.

Placed an order in March for a Gulsweep £50 and had to pay £12 postage for a express courier, this turned out to be ParcelForce.
The parcel was apparently delivered to my address and signed for by me when I was not home (nor was anyone else), parcel is lost or stolen.
This company have been nothing but uninterested in my parcel going missing/being stolen, I am told by the sending company "it is out of our hands, we have no responsibility as we sent it with the post office", I said that they had booked this courier (parcelforce) so they had made the contract and it was down to them to chase and sort where my parcel was, fyb think this is not the case and they are happy they did everything ok and thanks for you money.
Parcelforce driver lied and said I had asked him to leave the parcel safe, he has never spoken to me (had this confirmed by the depot manager from Parcel farce).
It is now August and still no delivery and no refund, parcelforce (in mid May) tell me it is to late for me to make a claim against them, even though on there website it says you have to be the sender to claim from them.
FYB marine says they won't claim as it would be rejected and they have done everything they should??
I really am missing something here, what happened to customer service?

If there is any chance of anything you order going missing or you having an issue do not use this company, they have only interest in taking your money, be warned. Please
