JoAnn is the BEST

JoAnn is the BEST! She greeted me at the door; helped me bring a cart in. She asked me what I was looking for. She put the heavy water in my cart and directed me where to find other items I was looking for. All the cashiers for the past 15 years do not compare to the PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE and Great Customer Service she provided me. You need more workers like Joanne. She understands CUSTOMER SERVICE! I Thank her for my experience today❣❣❣

305 E National Hwy, Washington, IN 47501 store worker blond female with glasses infected with TB, while working around kids and adults. on 7/11/21 at 10:55am this store worker was recorded on store security camera saying clear that she is TB positive. someone must put a stop to this store letting workers infected with TB / Covid show up to work. please help put a stop to this .

No star. I only hit one star because it would not me remove.
On 6/29, I went to Family Dollar (5648 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia, PA). Poor associate, young gentlemen was working by himself. The line was so long due to this child working by himself with no help. No supervisor or anyone to help this poor child out. I seen one other worker but he was putting merchandise way. Customers started to sit in chairs because the line was ling. One customer was reading off all of Family Dollar violations from off of the clipboard next to a computer, I guess for people to put in applications… Everyone heard. I’m writing because this a young gentlemen needs help who was on that register. That is not fair to work someone like a dog for Family Dollar. This young man was astonishing the way he took his time. The supervisor for this store is not a good supervisor. She’s obviously not a great one if she place a kid on the register by himself and have no other person with him. It’s no way in the world should it have been just him. I was also told that there are no one on the evening shift. That supervisor is the worst! I called corporate at 1866-377-6420 an d704-847-6961 and the wait time is horrendous. Not only that, I spoke with someone and she did not have time to hear what I had to say so she put me back into the que. Thank you Family Dollar for not listening. I will forward my emailto the CEO, Howard L. Levine. Lets see if he likes his store to be ran this way.

P.S.
Do not call me for my comments. I tried calling and no one listened.

Sincerely, Never shopping there again and I will let the customers know in that area until they help and RUN THIS STORE RIGHT. Why should I spend my money at an establishment that don’t appreciate the workers.

All of the family dollars sores in…

All of the family dollars sores in Savannah Georgia need to learn excellent excellent customer service from the Dollar Tree!!! The manager that works at the Family Dollar in Sandfly customer service is the worst! She only acknowledge her friends that comes there anyone else she’s totally unfriendly, no kind of customer service at all. If the manager customer service sucks, what do you think about the employees customer service working under him or her? Get it together people!!!!!!!!!!!

The summer is coming and tried to…

The summer is coming and tried to purchase a inflatable pool online. I selected the pool and went to checkout to pay. I continued to get a error message several times. After waiting FOREVER I finally spoke to a CSR only to find out this item was out of stock. Why couldn't it just say "out of stock" on the website. SMH..

Store In Detroit! Schoolcraft & Southfield!

Store In Detroit, Michigan On Schoolcraft & Southfield Looks Like A Hoarder Moved In. I Thought That I Walked Into An Abandoned Building With Garbage Everywhere. Items, Clothing And No Telling What Else Was Scattered All Over The Floor. This Store Is Beyond Being Unorganized. Poorly Being Managed Even At The Minimal Level Expected And It's Evident. I'll Never Go Back Into That Back Of Ally Store Anytime Soon. There Must Be A Sign Reading Under New Management Before I Even Attempt To Peek Inside.

Bought a pair of leggings about four…

Bought a pair of leggings about four years ago and they look and feel the same as the day I bought them! Wearing them all the time! Through washes and wear they haven’t worn out in any areas! I wear a lot of 90 degrees leggings and was totally shocked in the way these cheaper leggings look and feel! Thanks so much 😃😊

Waste of time, from wannabe ecommerce business

Told me the order shipped and even reached the store on a Monday. When I reached there, I spent 15 minutes talking to the store manager learning that nothing reached. The store manager told me to wait for the next shipment that would reach there on Friday to see if it was there. I waited and the manager was nice enough to call me to tell me that my package was still not there. She told me to wait again for next shipment the following Monday and I did. The next Monday reached and nothing. She has been nice enough to look for the package and the corporate office not as nice. They basically confirmed everything the store manager said which was that its not there. Having waited 2 weeks plus, I would have liked to see a little better customer service from the corporate office who told me basically, all they could do was cancel the order because it wasnt worth there time to find out what happened to my order. They refused to ship another one or even give me anything for all the time wasted on this company. Basically, they made me cancel so they could increase the price on me by 20%. Anyways, not a big deal. Lesson learned from family dollar.

First off let my start by saying

First off let my start by saying, i do realize that we are living through an unusual time in our society. But this does give family dollar's employees a license to treat their customers badly. I went into a family dollars at 5527 Bridgetown rd Cincinnati ohio to pick up a few things i needed. When i was walking into the store i realize i had forgot my mask at home. So i went into the store hoping i could be provided with a mask or was able to buy one. I did not see any employees around so i went ahead and started get the things i needed. Went to pick up laundry detergent and there was an employee in the aisle and before I could say anything, in a loud and rude manner. i was told i needed a mask. I said sorry i forgot mine at home do you guys have one u can provide me or i can buy. and she got real snotty and said no we don't have them for customers and we will not server u because you came into the store without a mask, while the whole time her mask was down around her neck, now she is going to yelling and screaming at me for not having one and treat me like i shoot her dog or something and her mask is around her neck the whole time. What a joke, needless to say, but i will no long be shopping at the family thug dollar. I must say great job "famly dollar" training your rude employees thugs. walked out and drove across the street to Walgreens and was greeted at the door, i asked the young lady if they had mask that i forgot mine at home, she provided with one, and i picked up the few items i needed and was told to have a nice day and they hoped to see me come back again, wow night and day, you can take a note from Walgreens, Family Thug Dollar. Now thats how you keep a customer!!!!!!

Phone said they closed at 10. I called the store at 9 and said they close at 9. They better get that straighten up. I will do my shopping at dollar general from now on

Expired Drinks/Food

I have gone into family dollar 5 times and all of my soda is expired by 6+ months and tastes terrible. Even DOLLAR GENERAL at least gives products within the dates. Get your crap together

As a former manager I would like all…

As a former manager I would like all F.D. customers out there to put yourself in the staffs shoes for a moment. I can only speak for the stores I managed. These people are severely under paid and corporate will only allow hourly employees to work a maximum of 34 hours or so. They consider that full-time. It allows them to legally refuse certain benefits. These people aren't making anything near a living wage. Under no circumstances does this make poor customer service okay. But maybe it can soften your hearts a bit towards them. As a former manager I tried to make up for the company's many shortcomings. At Christmas employees get a coupon for $20(taxes not included) or so. A FAMILY DOLLAR COUPON. How is this a bonus? It goes right back into their wallets. I would give my employees real cash bonuses out of my own pocket. Because hourly employees are not allowed to work actual full-time, the manager, me, has to compensate. I worked a minimum of 60 hours a week. I kept up a beautiful and organized store. I was salaried for 52 hours a week. When I would calculate my actual hourly earnings I was consistently making MUCH less than my employees. So next time you find yourself angry at a Family Dollar employee, direct that anger to the corporate heads. They make an awful lot of money. Trust me. They do. They consistently and aggressively treat their workers very badly. In turn, they are treating their customers badly. Call them. I'm serious. Every store should have a poster with a number to call. Do it often and do it loudly. This is not how a company in America should be treating it's employees or customers.

Yes I tried to walk into your store the two gentlemen there would not tell me who the manager was as they pushed me back out the door I looked one of their name tag said Mike they're both knew there because I've been going to that store for the last 3 years I have a GoPro on the front of my bike that video taped everything so I would like a response or I am sending this footage to the news and the police I want both these kids fired it was on Thursday December 17th at 5:25 in the afternoon and the Clearwater store on Gulf to Bay

There's got to be other stores

Went to one down the street from me in OKC OK to pick up some cards. They have to prettiest cards for cheap. Unfortunately within the 30 mins I was there, 2 different fights broke out between patrons and management. Both resulted with management telling patrons to get the H... out of her store, and not diffusing the situations at all. She accused one patron of stealing, even with her receipt. Needless to say I am going to try to avoid shopping here as much as I can. It was ridiculous.

I was trying to get my cart at the front because a guy cashier told me to leave it at the front and I came back with my items to purchase a young lady caught an attitude with me and was rude and belligerent would not let me purchase would not let me get my cart or get it for me so she told me not to cross the blue line in a rude tone and in a disrespectful manner so I had to go to another cashier and she got more verbally abusive and I cursed her out and she even threatened me saying she was going to woop my ass and she's a bully and every time I walk into this store I feel not safe and always have to worry if the employee will snap off on me all the time

Poor Customer Service

Half the employees are young,lazy and don’t want to work.I shouldn’t have to ask the cashier what my total is because they’re too busy texting on their phone.Some of the cashiers who work there seem to have an attitude because they have to stop what they’re doing and actually work.

I tryed to use my clipped coupons 3 times in a row , diferent days and system is always down, maneger is never here.... the only thing a here is. Im sorry comeback tomorrow... I lost lots of coupons and Im getting tired to this horrible customer service.... I think the coupon is fake news... very disappointed...

Unacceptable store #07778

I went to Family dollar today store # 07778 1501 W.2nd.St. Owensboro ky
At least 7 people were not wearing masks. I was in line at least 10 ft. Away from a couple Not wearing masks and the guy was coming toward me so I asked hin to please stay back! He did back up. Then the suppliers coming from who knows where?? Had No masks on. Unbelievable! I will Not be returning to this store. Selfish people. This is how Covid-19 spreads. Mask up 😷
PLEASE DEMAND YOU'RE CUSTOMERS & THE SUPPLIERS DO THE RIGHT THING!

Don't buy if your not sure about keeping the item

I always go to the family dollar by my place because it's the closest store to my crib and it solves temporary problems here and there. But I didn't know that the return policy lacked convinience. I saw that when I returned the 1st item for $4 it didn't clear. I thought it was because of the weekend so I let Monday (today) pass and still it hasn't cleared I went and returned a second item for $10 just to make sure and it didn't clear either. I hope they get to fix that system for I'm not the only one experiencing this issue with refunds. I also asked if I can get what I paid for in cash, but didn't let me get the cash refund even though they had my card verified. Just some policies make life so much harder. Policies should be more considerate always knowing that the customer's right, and also accommodating customers by making life much easier.

Rude employee

Went In the store in Wilson’s Mills, NC to purchase one thing. The cashier tried selling me a mask AFTER I had made my purchase. I politely declined purchasing a mask and the cashier was extremely rude. She said “I’m serious! You need to be wearing one!” She has no business telling people what they NEED to do. Pandemic or not, she could have been more polite about it.
