I wish I could have given 0 stars for this review. What a complete waste of time. Stay far away from this site, they advertise low prices then call you to upgrade to a more expensive fare. Don’t fall for it. Save yourself the headache!!!
My experience
The company had the wrong email on file so when our flight got canceled we didn’t get the message. I tried calling fareporto and the phone number didn’t work. I also called the airline and demanded a full refund for what happened. I was able to get last minute flights on an airlines website and was able to get to my destination.

CAUTION!! This company is a SCAM!!!
I am writing to formally share my extremely disappointing experience with Fareporto and to caution others about doing business with this company.
On June 8, 2025, I purchased a flight ticket through Fareporto based on the advertised fare and was informed I would receive confirmation within 24 hours. Instead, I received an email claiming someone from the company had tried to contact me—yet I received no calls, voicemails, or missed calls.
I promptly responded to the email and attempted to call the number provided, placing over 30 calls without getting an answer. After more than 24 hours without a confirmation, I called again on June 9—repeatedly, until I finally reached a representative after 13 attempts. I explained my situation and was told that the person responsible for confirming my booking would call me back within 30 minutes. Three hours later, I received another email claiming they had tried to reach me, which again was false. I immediately replied and made additional calls—over 30—before finally getting through, only to be placed on hold and told I’d receive another callback within an hour.
When I asked for assistance then and there, I was informed that the ticket I had purchased was “on standby,” and the advertised price was not valid. I was given two options: pay an additional $97 each way or change my travel dates or airports. I explained that neither was an option, as I am attending a wedding with fixed dates and a specific destination.
The representative blamed me for not reading the fine print and claimed that tickets were not guaranteed. I pointed out that while prices and fees were displayed prominently in bold red font, the critical note about standby status was buried in the fine print. I insisted on speaking to a manager.
When I finally reached a manager, she was dismissive and unprofessional. She offered no meaningful solution other than paying extra fees, and stated that the flight was overbooked—something outside of my control as a customer. I checked another travel website and found that seats were still available for the same flight, disproving her claim.
Without my consent, the manager changed my flight details—altering the time, airport, and date, despite my clear instructions not to do so. When I objected, she hung up on me.
I called again—15 more times—before speaking with another representative. I was told that my reservation could not be canceled and that I would not receive a refund, even though I was allegedly on standby without a guaranteed seat. I was again told I had to pay more money to secure a flight. When I objected, the second representative also hung up on me. Eventually, I received an email stating my flight had been canceled—again, without my request or authorization.
This entire experience has been stressful, misleading, and deeply unprofessional. I urge others to avoid doing business with Fareporto. Their practices are deceptive, and their customer service is unreliable and untrustworthy.

I book my flight on this website for Jet Blue airlines and I received a phone call the next day from them telling me that I can't check any luggage's or do a carrier on bag because of the promotion with Jet Blue. First of all who travel without luggage! And on top of that I was told if I wanted to check in my luggage I will have to do an upgrade for an additional $260.00 per person, so with that said I had to change my flight and go with Spirit airline which I hate and I still had to pay an additional 298.00 plus tax total for me and my husband so now I'm able to check in my luggage for a fee and bring a carry on bag. Spirit is the only airline that let you do baggage check on this website So everyone be aware of the hidden fees you may want to call and book over the phone first as the price you see and pay is not what you are going to pay in total you will get a phone call from them the next day. Other than that they provide good customer service and made sure I received my Tickets. Also if you cancel you loose all the money you paid for that flight.

Misleading pricing and details
There were excessive hidden fees that were not clearly explained on the website for American Airlines. To book the flight, the price was going to be triple from the original amount. They refused to refund the charges even though there was no resolution to the problem. I lost nearly $300 and have nothing to show for it.

worse place to get your ticket. you do not get a guaranteed flight even though you booked for that exact time and date. and THEY DO NOT GIVE MONEY BACK. so now i have to report to my bank and dispute charges! never again! worst company and worse service
They are a complete scam
They are a complete scam. They took $200 from my account and I never received a plane ticket. I am now in the middle of fighting my bank so that they can get my money back but there’s another Issue and I am being directed to contact them directly and there is no way to contact them. I have reached out through every phone number. It rings once and it hangs up on me so they literally stole my plane ticket money to get home and left me stranded.

They dont even deserve a 1 star at all. They keep giving me the run around just to provide my ticket number or confirmation. Always saying they're going to connect me and have me waiting for more than 45min. Couldn't even provide me my ticket number. SCAM!
