Excellent service

I live in Hawaii and been searching for a tip link for my tractor. I saw one on line from Blains and used the "chat" and received information on shipping cost. I then placed a order. Because of the holiday took time for them to ship. When I called I got help quickly,emailed followed item being ship. Received my order a day before it was scheduled which I considered to be fast shipping to Hawaii. Highly reccomend this company,they got their act together. Aloha Blain's.

If I could give this a negative star…

If I could give this a negative star review, I would!
I wrote to corporate with no response.
Own a Cadillac CRX that developed charging issues while shopping in Dubuque.
The automotive department is a joke
The inexperienced Tech opens the hood of Cadillac CRX with a diagnostic tool in hand and turns to Matthew (the only other employee in that department) and asks "Where is the battery"?.

Matthew continues to train the imbecile and constantly requests that I get seated inside. (Mind you, the car died right outside of their service door and insurance regulations did not apply for a customer to not be inside the service area).
I inform them that I had a temporary burning smell prior to the charging issue but it did not smell of, or have the characteristics of a battery with a shorted cell. Please check the charging system!
(I'm 63 and come from years of engineering and designing hi-current electrical).
My back is finally giving out so I go seated inside. They came in minutes later to inform me it has a shorted cell and that the charging system is ok, All I need is a new battery.,, I reluctantly concede and purchase a battery to the tune of $150.

I ask to discuss tire prices while we are waiting for the repair and was ignored.

It was near closing time, -we LIVE 1HOUR AWAY and repeatedly tell this to Matthew.
(we have a senior in a wheelchair at home and need to go home asap)

Shortly thereafter his trainee comes in and said that the battery is installed.
I asked about the charging system again, inform them again that we live 1 hour away and if it's not charging we will not make it home without stopping to charge it somewhere along the way, (and obviously have to buy a battery charger-another lost sale for Blains) and he responded: "well,.if it is not the battery,.. it's the alternator" and raced out the waiting area.
(my wife held me back from getting out of the chair to confront him for fear of the police being involved).

IS THAT NOT THE REASON FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC TOOL TO BEGIN WITH??

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU ARE DOING?

We left and watched as the voltage constantly drop the entire stressful hour on the way home, We lost antilock, traction control and suspension assist 3 miles from home, windows were inoperable, and LUCKILY the headlights were still operable and died in our driveway.

I am willing to bet that if I went back to that store, took my battery and charged it, then used a load tester, I would find that the battery is 100% ok.
I wasted $150 and an hour of stress in my short life that I will never get back.

If the car would have made it elsewhere, I would have been better off going to any auto parts store as they would have a better working knowledge of what a battery looks like.

If I could leave no stars I would

If I could leave no stars I would. My girlfriend bought tires from Farm and Fleet about 3 years ago. Couple days ago she got a flat and it it ruined the side wall of the tire. Now I been a mechanic for 6 years so I know what a bad side wall of a tire looks like and I looked at the tire before hand and seen that the inside wall was damaged had cookie crumbles in it. So I went there to have it replace and handed the tire over to them. The guy behind the desk sounded like he really didn't want to help since it had road hazzard. But I handed the tire over to them and I was expecting to get a new tire and pay for it but Kyle the assistant manager out in the shop said it was okay to put back on my girlfriends car. Like I said it had cookie like crumbles in it. Side wall is compromised and he proceeded to tell me nothing was wrong with the tire. Even pat the store assistant
said he wouldn't put that on someones car. So now my girlfriends car has a tire that their tech fixed with a damaged side wall. It's crazy that they would put her life in danger. I'm VERY upset about how they handled it. I come in expecting to have the truth told to me and tell it its bad and I need a new one but to put on a tire that has sidewall damage and to let it go saying that he would put it on his family's car Infuriates me. I want this fixed the right way.

If you live out of state and need camo…

If you live out of state and need camo gear, go else where. You pay 50 dollars and find out their clothes run small and then have to pay 16.25 to send it back. I was going to get a larger size but at this point I'd pay close to 50 dollars a pair. If you aren't close to the facility do not order. Horrible experience, won't shop again.

This is honestly one of the worst…

This is honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a company. They sold me a used item. I called customer service and they sent me a prepaid label for the return and told me that corporate would reach out to me. Almost a full week later, I finally received a call from them (had to call customer service back a few days ago to let them know I never received one). The person was honestly not very professional. I asked to be sent a replacement only for them to tell me it’s no longer in stock. I’m VERY pissed off about it because it was supposed to be a Christmas gift that I order far in advance to make sure it would be here more than on time. First and last time ordering from this disorganized company!

Full refund .... no hassle

We purchased an electric smoker from Blain's Farm and Fleet. After using it several times without the desired results and trouble shooting with manufacturer, we determined the smoker was defective. The manufacturer wouldn't offer a refund because it was out of warranty, but Blain's Farm and Fleet gave us a full refund including free shipping label for return. We appreciated it very much as the smoker was completely useless to us.

This by far has been one of the worst…

This by far has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had from any company I have done business with. With the current supply chain issues, and being a purchasing manager, I placed an order with Blain’s Farm & Fleet, in an attempt to expand my supplier source. Order was placed and estimated delivery confirmed. Early on I could see the delivery date would not be met, so I called their customer service to verify status of the order. Other than a commitment to have someone message me with answers to my two specific questions, the time on the phone was wasted. In the message received from C/S 2-days latter no questions were answered and I was told the lie that my order had already shipped. After checking the provided tracking number on the shipper’s website, I found the order in fact hadn’t even been picked up from the supplier. Responding to the company again, due to this information the second response/message from C/S they still insisted the order had shipped. Verbally checking with the shipping company and receiving conformation that in fact the order was still on the dock and not in transit, it was obvious Blaine’s C/S are nothing more than liars. I mentioned earlier two questions, other than the one about shipping the other was why the weight of the product was inflated by 22%, or 14-pounds to be specific. The C/S answer to that was packing material. A 12” square cardboard box with no internal packing material does not weigh 14-pounds. Stay away from this company, your shipping cost is falsely inflated costing you more money that a customer should not have to pay, and the C/S will not give you honest and truthful answers regarding the shipment.

Lost customer

I was at Farm and fleet on Dec 10th 2021. this was in the time frame of the getting a $10. gift card for every 100.00 spent. I was at the counter paying, and seeing i was not far off from spending $200 so i asked if i can i bring in receipt tomorrow and meet the 200 to receive another $10 gift card.. she said yes, i would have went and grabbed more stuff but the checkout lines was full and there was people waiting to check out behind me. She said yes. She was very kind and friendly. no problems with her it was next day when i came in filled my cart again to meet the 200 but i went up another 100 andso went to Customer Service counter. The girl says to me, well we only give them for each transaction, so she was not giving me the 10 doller card,it was not there policy. NOT ONE SORRY was said .... I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY SAID OK AND BEEN OK WITH IT.. ,
so i will be shopping at Fleet Farm from now on for my chicken feed , horse and dog food, boots and clothes and other things i need. So sad nobody is nice anymore..

Bogus and laughable return policy.

And although the shipping to you, seems reasonable in my case $7, they wanted a return in the same box which is so big my post office wanted $60 which 9 (nine) times the $ Blain's shipping to send back a product which would not fit in the stall. Then when I called for at least a refund of the sales tax as I filed as Tax exempt, service person (#2) explained that was a separate department. You can see where this is headed - stay away.

My grandkids pick out toys for the toys…

My grandkids pick out toys for the toys for toys drive. The box was just picked up on Saturday and would be returned later. I explained it is a big deal for my grand kids to put the toys in the box they picked out. Someone quickly made a box box for toys for toys. Thank you!!!

I am VERY angry

I am VERY angry. I ordered a product and was approved-then the order was canceled.
I called customer service and again the order was approved--only for this order to be CANCELED AGAIN!!! I called again for customer service to be shocked that it was canceled and suggested I speak with management. You have GOT to be kidding.
SERIOUSLY??
This company is a SHAM, they should remove there company's online presence, it SUX.

Items canceled after a week.

I made an order of 5 items. I originally only wanted 1 item, so I ordered two of those and a few other goodies. After week of waiting for my items to arrive, I got an email saying 3 of the 5 items I ordered could not be fulfilled. Of course that included the item I was originally looking for.

Not a very professional way to go about running your store. If you actually do a good job keeping track of your stock, things like this won't happen. I'm not pleased with this store at all and will not be ordering again.

I'm very happy with Blain's

I'm very happy with Blain's. I ordered a Poultry water heater, and they were very quick to ship. I received my order in about 3 days through Fedex. Their communication was great on updates with my order.

I used to like this store I go to the…

I used to like this store I go to the one on Sycamore, Il, but they said if I don't use a mask I am not welcome, well I will not support a store that discriminates against those who have other conditions and can't wear a mask, nor take the vaccine, I go to any other store without mask and I have no problem, plus I am not sick, then purchased a bag of Victor multi pro, and my dogs didn't like it, can't returned it but the worst part same bag in Chew.com and Amazon cost $33, this place got it for almost $48 I will not give business to this store anymore, plenty of other stores that I can go and get things cheaper and same brands. I should have check Amazon and other places to compare prices I thought this store had competitive prices but I can see they don't. Very horrible customer service. Now I am stock with a 50 pound bag of food that the dogs don't even like. With the economy of today this big corporations should think more in those who lost their jobs etc, but of course they don't care about that. Very sad.

IL has mandated masks for all people while indoors unless the individual has health issues that prohibits them from wearing a mask. Per our website, we are unable to accept returns on any food item, including dog food. As for the price difference, if you find an item with a cheaper price from a competitor, we will match that price as long as it is the exact same item and you have proof of the current competitor ad. Unfortunately we cannot match prices for online distributors such as Amazon and Chewy.com. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

I purchased 4 tires ONE went bad and…

I purchased 4 tires ONE went bad and after 5 trips @ 2hrs + each visit they replaced 2 tires with warranty I paid 258$ when all 4 were only 507$ new.1 bad tire. I will never buy tires from Farm + Fleet again!

Not Customer Service but customer screew over department

I placed an order on 9/4/21 and used a free ship offer from Pay Pal. I had to pay an additional 22.45 because order included coleman fuel. Partial order arrived today so I checked on the shipping and found that fed ex tried to contact Blaine's about the incorrect labeling of box 3 times 9/14/21 and Blaine did not respond so order shipped back. I asked for refund of the missing order and the 22.45 fuel surcharge. Their CS said that wasn't a surcharge but regular shipping and tried to deny that back to me. I have filed a BBB complaint and found that this NOT customer service is typical of Blaines and that they play the let's make a deal instead of making customers whole again. They also said it takes them 14days to process a refund and if I wanted the surcharge returned I would have to ship everything back first? Don't buy from Blaines
