Fastmail is a great and reliable service focused on privacy, which I really appreciate. The only downsides for me are the lack of built-in email translation and the apps. Both the mobile and Windows a... See more

Fastmail has the best features and by far the best customer service I have ever received. I lost my account to malicious hackers but they were extremely patient and took care of me. Now I’m putting all of my e mails on Fastmail, Has security key as a 2nd factor and you can even build a website on the platform. Unlimited domains too!,,, I love Fastmail. Nobody really want features of protonmail,. Every time I send an encrypted mail I get yelled at due to the encryption… including proton herself….

I've been using Fastmail for several years, and I've always been very pleased with the service. It is easy to use and very reliable.
On the few occations where I've had to contact support, I have received quick and competent help.

I just got a bill reminder for my annual charge. And my immediate thought was "oh, that's cool - i like paying this company". It simply works. No drama. I don't have to constantly maintain anything. I forgot how most of it was even set up because it just works and is so far in the background of my life. Everything else just sucks energy and requires another update, another change or terms, or another something.
I can only say "thanks" for doing what I need and letting me waste my time on everything else that demands more attention than it deserves.

Have used Fastmail for many years and been very happy until 5 weeks ago when my email stopped retrieving mail from my primary email address. Five weeks have passed and the issue has still not been resolved. Support is unbelievably slow. I have slowly been transferred up different tier levels of support. I am now at Tier 3. My last email to them was sent 12 days ago and I am still awaiting a reply.
I made a mistake with my billing and forgot that it was due and forgot to update my credit card. Customer service rep, George was fantastic. He extended my due date two weeks into the future, with friendly, professional customer service. No guilt trip, or warning; just great service. Here is his response:
"Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to Fastmail support! I'm happy to help you with this.
I've gone ahead and delayed your due date by two weeks, so you will have some extra time to submit payment.
You may still get overdue renewal reminders and see an overdue banner on your account, but I can assure you no action will be taken on your account in the meantime.
Please let me know if I can help with anything else.
Cheers,
George"
Obviously, it is important to pay for services on time, as that is the exchange and promise that is understood. However, sometimes things happen and it is so nice to do business with a company that is considerate, professional, and also offers great email service. I have only good things to say about Fastmail and I encourage other people to make Fastmail their primary email provider. Nicely done Fastmail!

I've been with Fastmail for over 21 years. Their customer service has only gotten better and better. There aren't many businesses that accomplish that. They have always quickly responded to every question and concern. Just can't say enough about them. Just the fact that an email service has been around for that long and manages to consistently improve their service is pretty amazing.

After becoming frustrated with ads taking over every aspect of my internet life and becoming more concerned about privacy I decided to start taking steps in the right direction. It started with changing my browser from Chrome to Vivaldi. Vivaldi earned my trust and recommended Fastmail. I haven't enjoyed the internet this much since I was a teenager on dial up. Thank you everyone on the Fastmail team for keeping my family and I safe.
Finally, I found a paid email provider that gives me easy control over my daily emails and without any ads. For just €3 per month, it's definitely worth it.

I paid for Fastmail and used it, but suddenly they locked my account permanently while I was using it without any warning. I didn’t do anything wrong, and now I can't access my emails created here. I tried to contact support, but didn’t get proper help. I had a very bad experience, and I don't recommend this service to anyone.

I'm a long-time Fastmail user for our business and personal use. Over the years they have continued to add features and improvements, always keeping the interface user-friendly.
I have never had to do a ticket for help until now, as their online help info has always been sufficient in the past. This time, however, I needed to interact with their tech support ... I submitted a ticket with images, their response was quick and within the listed turn-around time, and they were extremely helpful and informative so I was easily able to fix the perplexing mail issue I was having.
I have always been happy with Fastmail, they are definitely one of the BEST!

I've used Fastmail for many years and they are consistently one of the best email services I encounter. The price is right and your email is always secure and accessible

I've been a customer for 20 years. I'm a privacy and free software advocate, GNU/Linux sysadmin. My priorities when it comes to email are: 1. A service that respects my privacy, 2. Technically proficient and speedy customer support, and 3. Numerous configuration options for total customization. Fastmail checks these three boxes with a flourish. I could not be happier with the service.

I have been using Fastmail for 8 years now. It has never been down, the interface is easy to use, it integrates with all my programs and apps, and it provides everything I want. It's honestly everything I ever wanted as an email service. I particularly love the aliases.

All the features I need and more. Easy to use. Super reliable.
Only contacted support once (an external account suddenly changed protocols and I could no longer fetch from that acct) - got immediate reply from Fastmail with an easy fix.
In 20 years I've found no reason to change providers. Why would I?

Unable to pay for the service, I was cancelled and they claim they removed my infomation from the database
I lost 200USD due to this being an important email, I was both unable to pay to "Get my Email out of jail" and therefore I was punished by deletion
Un fuc n real - Truely the most greediest 1st world service I have come across in my 32 years on this universe, Absolute scum

I've been a Fastmail customer for a few years and I'm very pleased with it. I've been able to remove Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts from my life, while having great support to send and receive email from my domains.
I've always had a good experience finding support, but I had a strange edge case error recently and I was escalated to more and more senior support until I got to the right person, no hassle.
Email's basically the center of digital life and for that service I think Fastmail delivers great value. After using accounts on big tech it's great to feel like a valued customer!

I have been using Fastmail for over 12 years now. They feel secure, with 2FA and passkeys to login safely. They also offer tools to help you guard your privacy. The ability to create endless aliases or alternate email addresses is a true luxury.
You can easily create masked email addresses at the click of a button, and it works well with Bitwarden password manager for this.
When I’ve needed support, which hasn’t been often mind you, Fastmail’s support team has always been fast and helpful.
I’m a happy Fastmail customer for life.

Have been using Fastmail for many years for personal and business -but finding support isn't simple (I'm having problems changing my password). Finally found how to raise a ticket via a 'search' online -at the top of results was a 2017 blog post about 'improving customer support'!
Also spam increased recently...it has calmed down for the moment but I am losing confidence in Fastmail now - I currently find I am using yahoo more as a result!

It just works so well. High quality product. Excellent support. I've been using Fastmail for more than 6 years now. I don't see a reason to ever stop.
