Months Later – Still No Bike, No Refund, No Solution
Another update on this
I leased a fatbike from fatbikeskopen.nl in April 2025 for €2,227.
The bike was too big, and after many excuses and delays they finally picked it up on 21 July. Since then, I have had no replacement, no refund, and no clear solution.
It has now been months of broken promises, missed deadlines, and silence. Despite my official notices and even filing a complaint with the ACM, fatbikeskopen.nl continues to withhold my money ,while leaving me without a bike.
From April through end of August I have been deprived of the product I paid for, and my right to have a transportation, I had to spend extra on taxis and alternative transport because they refused to resolve the case.
At this point, I have lost all trust in this company.
They have my bike and my money, but I have nothing in return.
They will act like this is a surprise here ! by answering the review but I have been on the case with “Niels” and completely no suitable solution whatsoever
Avoid this company at all costs.

Still waiting for warranty repair or refund
I purchased an ENGWE LE20 e-bike here in November 2024 (€1500). In February 2025 the bike developed a defect. I delivered it for warranty repair in March 2025, but after 5+ months it still hasn’t been fixed. I sent multiple reminders and a formal deadline, but there has been no solution. I am now requesting a full refund.

My friend purchased an ENGWE EP-2 Boost…
My friend purchased an ENGWE EP-2 Boost fat bike from Fat Bikes Apeldoorn on June 12, and it broke within 48 hours. It’s now been nearly 2 months and the bike is still not repaired or replaced.
They’ve received endless excuses — from “waiting on parts,” to “the repair partner isn’t communicating,” to “customs is holding it.” Meanwhile, no temporary bike was offered, no refund issued, and even a promised cashback never materialized.
The customer service has been dismissive, and the lack of integrity is alarming. If this is how they treat paying customers, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Very bad customer service
Buying from Fat Bikes Apeldoorn was the worst decision my friend made this year. They needed a reliable e-bike for daily transport and ended up with a broken ENGWE EP-2 Boost two days after purchase.
It’s now been nearly 2 months and they’re completely without a solution.
The shop has been full of excuses and has done nothing proactive to make things right no working bike, no refund, no timeline, and no accountability.

A friend paid for a brand new ENGWE EP-2 Boost fat bike on June 12. It broke in 2 days. It’s been nearly 2 months and they still have no bike, no refund, and no idea when it’ll be resolved.
The company keeps changing its story — blaming lack of parts, their repair partner, and now “customs.” They even promised cashback for the inconvenience — but never delivered.
Terrible customer service. Absolutely no accountability. Don’t get caught in the same trap.

Very bad service
A friend of mine had a very disappointing experience with Fat Bikes Apeldoorn.
After buying an ENGWE EP-2 Boost on June 12, the bike broke within 48 hours. Despite returning it, the company has taken nearly 2 months with no clear solution.
They’ve failed to provide updates, support, a replacement bike, or even a refund. Communication has been inconsistent, and promises like a cashback offer were never fulfilled.
This experience shows a serious lack of after-sales responsibility. I would not recommend purchasing from this business.

Customer disregard & reputational negligence
My friend had a terrible experience with Fatbikeskopen. After buying a brand new e-bike (ENGWE EP-2 Boost), it broke down within 2 days. Since returning it, they’ve been stuck in a 2-month cycle of lies and excuses.
No repairs. No loaner bike. No refund.
After promising a cashback due to the extensive inconvenience, nothing was received. The most recent excuse is on customs.
A complete failure of responsibility. This company is only good at taking your money — they vanish when something goes wrong. Buy from them at your peril.
