What a pleasant change
Visited your Inverness store to see if a jacket I'd seen online was available in my size. The service I received from both the manager and her assistant was first class and reminiscent of a bygone era!

Excellent returns service…
Bought 2 Marin wool coats for size but neither fitted. I'm rating the delivery and especially the returns service. Delivery was fast, goods well-packed, returns especially easy - returned to shop and refunded straight away.

I would happily give 5 stars if the item had actually been available to buy in the shop - twice now birthday gifts for friends have had a little flurry of panic involved due to availability issues.

Disappointing and rude transaction
I have always had great customer service at Fatface, in fact, I would say its known for it, but not today. I took a skirt back for a refund to the Inverness branch, no problem with that. When the payment/refund device did not ask for my card (for the refund) I queried if something else needed to be done on the till, but got a very confused look/mumble as the assistant went through the stages on the till again (hardly a word to me). Then she called someone over and a lot of mumbling again (between the two of them, I was not addressed in this transaction). Then the second person told me, quite impolitely, that it was fine, there was no problem, the refund was done. I again said, I had not been asked to present the card, and got a confused look. I eventually worked out that the card was not needed, some new process is going on, from scanning the receipt, it is done automatically back to the card. However, I had to work this out myself, no one explained the process, no one addressed me personally much, no apology for the mix up - am I supposed to mind read any new retail processes as a customer?! This was a very rudely conducted transaction that left me feeling a bit disregarded and put me off going back for a long time; no interpersonal skills at at, and quite a shock in Fatface.
