Honestly really poor experience. Food was supposed to arrive 30 min ago. Basically no way to tell where my driver is at and how long they will actually be until arrival. No remediation channel for or... See more

Place my order through the app did not know at the time but the restaurant was no longer in business but my order was taken my money was taken then the runner contacts me and tells me it's no longer in business so I had to cancel then they had the audacity to charge me $15 to cancel that is over $50 they stole from me fraudulently no way to contact any type of customer service whatsoever. This system is set up with fraudulent business practices should be sued should be shut down should be taken out back and hung. I will never use this app again and I hope no one ever uses it.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Do not use Favor!!! Give your money to Uber eats or DoorDash.
HE-BADThis alleged "Texas-based" food…he
This alleged "Texas-based" food delivery service was actually incorporated in the State of Delaware. They are part of HEB. Their food delivery service is mediocre at best. Customer service is only available via text,. and it appears to be offshored. They once offered promotions for free delivery. These promotions recently became virtually non-existent. What free delivery the user now gets, is mostly for HEB products. As soon as HEB finally disclosed that they owned FAVOR, the service has gone downhill. I was a loyal FAVOR customer for over two years, but because of these recent changes, I will no longer be using this service.
Ongoing Issues
Ive had years of issues with them, yet keep having to use them because they often have a monopoly. Most recently, I gave a certain tip amount and in my receipt, they added a few dollars. Although petty, it is fraud.
If I could give it zero stars
If I could give it zero stars, I would they always mess up my order. They’re always rude. Customer service is slow Rude, rude and not helpful
Horrible horrible delivery app
Horrible horrible delivery app. Drivers are subject to wait for consumers to pay first before receiving their pay for work completed. And if consumer fails to pay, favor compensates driver at a reduced rate than what was initially estimated. Not to mention, extremely low pay rates for long distances. Such a SCAM!
There GPS systems are glitchy at best
There GPS systems are glitchy at best. I live in one of the original neighborhoods in my town. My address has existed since before favor was a company. For the second time they sent the driver to a different area. Not even close to my street. They need to fix the glitches in their system. It’s frustrating for the customers and I know it’s frustrating for the employees. It’s nonsense. There is no reason for it. When I sent in a complaint through email to the company I received one back that said the support email is not monitored. Absolutely garbage.
Order-in delivered with Texas hospitality
Favor is a great way to order home delivery in Texas. They have local brands and are always adding more. The app and the website are convenient, secure, and constantly updated and there are good deals and perks for returning customers.
You can also order groceries from H-E-B brands, including Central Market and True Texas BBQ, my personal favorites.
The app is great for estimating how long it will take, and runners are always friendly and will reach out if something isn't available. Once there was a problem with our order and customer support resolved it. The company cares about Texans, unlike national brands.
I will never use Favor again
I will never use Favor again. They charged after the fact in excess of $25.00 without approval, in addition to their $14.52 service fee. They charge whatever they like. I feel robbed and I will be disputing the charge.
Instacart is a far superior experience
Instacart is a far superior experience. They notify me by cell phone about substitutions or deletions. I have an opportunity to substitute another product. FAVOR does not. They just do what they want and I have to live with it! I use favor in order to use my food stamps at HEB.
This is the third time in a row that my…
This is the third time in a row that my order has either been delivered to the wrong address or I got the completely wrong order that wasn't even mine. I have about had it.
I'm not a customer I'm a delivery…
I'm not a customer I'm a delivery driver for favor. My complaint to customers is DONT ORDER FOOD IF YOURE NOT GONNA TIP!!!!!! We waste our gas going to and from for us to have to wait to receive our tip!!!!!!! Sometimes I rely on the tip for gas and having to wait HOURS for a tip is ridiculous. Favor itself needs to address this issue. Sometimes I wait until the next day just to receive a $4..$2 from favor and $2 tip. I go above and beyond for some customers and that really sucks.
Boycott, Until they can treat customers right
This is a joke. Always accepting orders then dropping them and not notifying me. I wait & wait. Why wouldn't they call and say there is a problem and can't do it. Look at these reviews... Don't use this service until they can get their .... together.
I had the rudest delivery person I've…
I had the rudest delivery person I've ever had. He was in a foul mood when he got to my address. Rude, belligerent and a liar. Favor Customer Service, and I use that term loosely, in their response to my complaint had the audacity to tell me my account would be suspended or deactivated. I have a camera that the delivery person didn't see.
And he acted like a fool. I told favor that and they came back with a second threat about my account. I deactivated the account myself. They are ridiculous.
I have had more bad experiences than good.
I have had more bad experiences than good with this delivery service. Often the driver doesn't speak English, so they don't read the delivery instructions. Sometimes they will leave my order on the front doorstep without any notification.
Today I had a driver substitute chocolate chip ice cream with coffee ice cream! I received a credit, but in the end, I threw away the ice cream and kept my 6 cookies that cost me $20.00 after the credit. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
Don't do it! Use another service!!
Prices are always lower than what the restaurant charges. Many listed restaurants do NOT use the service. Deliveries are frequently "late." Runners accept and then drop deliveries. Fees are high. Added gratuity is NOT in keeping with the quality of the service received. I have given them far too many chances. There is always an issue(s).
Mysteriously Suspended Account/No Useful Customer Support
!00% Disabled Combat Veteran whose account was mysteriously suspended 6 (or more) months ago. Tried again today to login and order some cigarettes only to see that my account is still suspended.
Not having a working phone number for customer support is very frustrating for senior citizens who may wish to avail themselves of this service.
Additionally, H-E-B seems fine for using Favor to deliver my groceries, yet this 68 year old cannot order cigarettes through the Favor App? Never verbally abused any of the delivery drivers. Don't understand what is going on.
I do understand that this delivery service is the worst I have ever used.
Former Runner and Customer
Favor is the worst delivery app I have ever encountered both as a delivery driver and a consumer. Tips are required, the service fee is exorbitant, and their customer service is some of the worst I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I tried to give it another chance today after receiving a letter that I had a 15 dollar credit. I kept my under under 13 dollars to leave room for the tip as I don't get paid until the 1st. It was still denied because of a "problem with my card" even though they could easily just take the tip from the credit. As a driver the people who are supposed to help you simply don't. Most customers are using this app out of necessity, so the tips truly are awful most of the time. Then the app will have you try and take an 18 mile trip one way for a nine dollar delivery. Avoid this company like the plague. For some reason it's impossible to give a company zero stars, but I think most everyone would agree this company deserves no good press at all.
Horrible Delivery App
This order is not the first issue we've had.
Previously we placed an order, the driver drove all the way there to pick it up, but the location was closed. I ended up tipping the driver $10 because I felt bad that he wasted his time. No where on the app did it say that the restaurant was closed and not accepting orders.
Tonight, I placed an order at 6:30/6:45 that was set to be delivered at ~7:10pm. The driver checked in at the restaurant, but somehow didn't place the order. It then switched to a different driver who wouldn't be able to make it there before the restaurant closed. It's now been an hour and a half and I'm just now realizing this and having to make other dinner plans.
Very upsetting.
Heads up SCAMMERS
Heads up, fellow foodies! If you're using #Favor Delivery, it's important to note that the prices listed on the app are "suggested prices" and may not always match the merchant's actual pricing. This means that the final cost of your order could be higher than expected once it's delivered. For example, you might find that your dinner ends up costing $6+ more than what's shown on the app and there was no way to know prior to receiving your order. This Texas-based company (owned and operated by #HEB) is a #Scam! Also, Favor claims that the user has control over the tip amount for their delivery personnel, but this was not my experience. It just goes to show you that scammers are not always apparent and sometimes pose as "respectable" businesses. It's always best to be informed about these details so stay savvy and avoid Favor Delivery!
