I always thought to myself how cool would it be if there was a website full of your favorite artists that you can just send them a song request a feature and boom you're done. Then featuredx happened. It makes life so easy when it comes to getting your favorite artist on your tracks. Fast respond, quick turn over time, friendly encounters. I mean what more could you ask for!

Unlike everyone else, all I had to do was just do a little bit of investigation and this is what I found.

In order to create an account to request features, you have to put yourself up available for others to request features from you (which is a terrible idea to begin with, since you already have to pay for features), which means, most of the artists that have been put on the site are likely only looking to be clients themselves.

What all that means is that the very likely scenario is that the artist you requested a feature from was never really intending to put themselves available for features to even begin with, and the way the site has been designed, it's LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to tell which artists are ACTUALLY available for features and which artists aren't. It also means that the very likely case is that the artist will never get back to you, regardless of budget.

This site is straight up misleading. Most of the "artists" were looking to be clients themselves and weren't really trying to put themselves up for features but had to because that was the only way they could have the necessary accounts to request and pay for features, which means most of those "artists" were never actual FeaturedX artists at all.

The two shouldn't have to merge. There should be separate accounts for clients and separate accounts for artists that are looking to get paid to provide features. This neglectful misleading happens BECAUSE the two have been merged into one. That's bad site design. This is why you have a bunch of reports saying "Oh the artist never got back." Yea, the artist was never intending to cater for your feature because the artist was trying to pay for another feature instead.

I did click on the link the message told me to click on in order to check the status of the feature. All I got was a white page with the little words "File not found" and that was it.

Great service, but the website layout and user interface could use a major makeover.

I'm sorry guys, I really like the platform and the idea behind it. But I'm forced to give one star, cause I sent a request and I never got an answer in 2 months. I contacted the team and they told me that the artist wasn't available at that moment, they told me to wait for the next month. I did, but I never heard back. Even a negative answer would have been appreciated. I had to reschedule my release and if I knew that I was gonna wait for nothing I would've released the song earlier. I don't think this is how it should work, if an artist is not available simply don't put it on the platform. Very unsatisfied.

Dope service for artist to easily collaborate with each other! artists could easily find me and book me to feature on there song
