I love Federal Direct Tax Services. They are always available when and if you need them. I love that I can take the conference classes that keeps you up to date on the tax season and the credits are applied to your PTIN. They are the best. I’m a forever client.

Federal Direct Company is one of the best companies to partner with. I’m new to the tax preparation business and they have made this venture easy. Their customer service is excellent in all departments that I have called on for support. I would definitely recommend them.

Originally, I was not going to write a review because I was just glad to be done with the CTEC 60 hour course. However, I continued to have issues even after passing the course. The first issue I had was that there was always some grammatical error on their pop up questions in their training video that prevented me or anyone else from understanding the question being asked. The second issue I had was when there was a glitch that prevented me from getting through a video. You are required to answer questions in order to get through the video learning. However, one course would not let you answer a question. So I was just stuck. I reached out to support and they were able to fix the next day, but it still delayed me in taking the exam. The third issue I had was that they do provide searchable documents. The CTEC is an open book exam. You are only given PPT slides. I ended up having to Google because their documents were not useful. The main issue I had with Federal Direct is that they don't submit your scores when they say they will. Other providers provide next day or instant submission. Federal Direct held on to my results for over a week. When I called I was told it would be submitted the 24th. When I emailed they said they had 10 days. I asked for a refund and they took their time responding to the email. They told me they were waiting on the last 6 digits of my SSN. But I never received any communication asking to provide that information and their website only requests PTIN not SSN. I ended up missing my deadline for getting my CTEC certification. I would not use again.

Services of FDTS is great but market competition is making Federal Direct Expensive. To be us profitable and be able to grow, prices as tax prepare must come down; otherwise, we will die. We lost almost 70% of our customer and all due to the price. If tax payer pay cash, we control the cost of preparing the taxes; however, if tax payer wants their fee to be pulled from their tax return, now our fee is split 50% with Federal plus $25 for banking; now it s already too expensive.

They have been unbelievably patient with this new kid on the block.
I came from Intuit ProSeries and was amazed at just how helpful Federal Direct people have been.
On one call to customer service Joe answered the phone.
I asked "are you Joe Rogers" the owner of Federal Direct?
Yes it was that Joe Rogers.
I can't remember when I actually got the owner of a company on the help line.

I love their service. Always there for me when I need them.

I have been a partner with federal direct I have learned lots of knowledge for Tax Preparation and more I have had the best experience I have nothing to say bad or negative I am a positive this is top Services today.

I just signed my contract so I really can't give a 5 star just yet. I will however come back and give an updated review after I receive my materials and get started. I'm very excited. John Rogers and Adam has given me nothing but the upmost customer service and answered all of my questions. I look forward to working with Federal Direct and growing my Tax Service.

First time with federal direct tax service first time doing taxes can't really give 5 until I stat and see how is goes at the end of tax season. Hopefully everything goes well. Will come back and let you know.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. I don't know alot about starting a tax business, but they keep me updated and informed and the staff makes me feel like my business is going to be a success and that they have my back . Glad I joined the company.

My experience with federal direct has been excellent. I have nothing negative to say about this company. I am very grateful for the entire staff as they have helped me with all of my questions and concerns in regards to taxes. I especially want to thank Tina for her patience and persistence. The software is awesome. I'm happy I have chosen such a great company.
