Use a different service!

Never in my life have I been given the run around so much. A bunch of incompetence is all I was met with. That along with being over charged and a package they literally held hostage, until I paid for customs for a second time!! Twice?! Also had to pay a distribution fee for what I can only imagine was a bunch of back and forth emails for a week and a half. I won't ever be using this service again. Glad we have alternatives.

Very poor service

Very poor service . Delivering parcels daytime when people at work . Then told me I have to come to collect my parcel over 40 km away .
Stay away of FedEx , time wasters.

The next time I order something online, I will specifically ask the other party not to use Fedex and recommend other people do the same.

Been waiting a week for a package that would normally take 2 days.

Been waiting over a week for a package to arrive from the UK that would normally take two days to arrive with DPD or An Post. Checking tracking and my package has been bounced back and forth Over Ireland and at one point ending up in Donegal, when I live in the south of the country. Contacted them and all tell me is my parcel is on the way with a third party vendor, Who? Wasn't the point of having Eircodes so that this kind of thing wouldn't happen. Finally received my package today 12/02

What an absolute joke of a company

What an absolute joke of a company. We spent three hours setting up an account, for them not to collect. To have no record, then use the wrong eircode but we did have a tracking number. Laughing during the customer service call. This how you treat new customers? What a waste of time. Wow.

Awful Service

Fedex's service in Ireland has always been bad but it's now outright unusable. I've been waiting for a package for three days, which keeps being pushed back. I need to confirm it hasn't been lost, but it's virtually impossible to get in touch with a person, let alone someone who's based in Ireland.

It's well known in the industry that they don't care about their operations outside the USA and you can see that from how their entire customer services operation seems to be geared towards American users.

The next time I order something online, I will specifically ask the other party not to use Fedex and recommend other people do the same.

If I could give this company zero

If I could give this company zero, I would.
I had a delivery today. I took the day off work to receive it.

I got a text from them to say they tried to deliver but no one was home and they left a note in the letterbox. I had to reschedule.

Now this is all lies from this company. I have cameras in the front of my house. It even looked down on my letterbox and no one called to my house.

I rang the customer service number and I got to talk to a machine pretending to be human. Total rubbish. All the AI did was ask my tracking number and it could not help me.

I am so annoyed. Why do companies still use this service? It obviously must be the cheapest courier company and this is reflected in its service.

Sent 2 packages from Ireland to Norway…

Sent 2 packages from Ireland to Norway and they deliver only one and lost the other package and the worst part is they send me one more bill for 150 euro and eurosender is charging me also 57 euro because the package was more weight than I said which I don't think it's true.
Avoid fedex it's just a worst company ever

I went to check if my package was…

I went to check if my package was arriving on thursday, came to reception and was greeted by Ryan. He went and check, however the package wasn’t even in Ireland. Ryan has offered to take my phone number and let me know if the package arrives tomorrow, cause I was flying in the morning. Such a great customer service, and a pleasant staff!

Worst delivery company by a country…

Worst delivery company by a country mile, my delivery has been in Ireland 4 days, got email saying delivery today (14/1/25) between 2-6pm, then got email saying changed to morning time, 9.30-13.30pm, that time has now gone and another email saying now before 6pm but tracking saying still in warehouse!!ive took the day off work for this delivery as to not miss it and this shower are messing me about, no contact number or you speak to a robot!!! Last time I use this company

Update...got through to someone eventually on a chat forum who said its been delayed because the plane was delayed coming into the country!!! The tracking shows it came into Ireland on Saturday ffs, they are liars and crooks, no apologises or nothing...

Awful!!

Awful!!! Never send anything through FedEx from the US to Ireland! I sent a package to my daughter at school in Dublin from the US. I contacted them several times and every time was told that the package was in customs and awaiting delivery. I was never contacted by anyone from FedEd, ever. I called this morning and was told the package had been destroyed! They said they had contacted me to tell me all the things I needed to do just to have the package returned to me. Totally false. I cannot believe this is an actual working company. Horrible!

Concerns About Heavy Item Delivery: Improving Staff Support Needed



I just received a delivery from FedEx with four heavy radiators. While the delivery was on time, I was concerned to see only one delivery person struggling to handle such a heavy load. The delivery man was very kind and helpful, but it's clear that FedEx should provide proper tools or additional staff for such deliveries. It's not acceptable to put staff in this position. I hope FedEx will consider improving their processes to ensure safer working conditions.

Bad bad bad

Much like a lot of people here, flabbergasted at the shockingly bad service by Fedex.
My parcel arrived in Ireland on schedule, I paid customs promptly, it cleared and should have arrived on the expected date.
Expected date passes. I check tracking and see that the parcel had gone from Ireland to the Uk and then on to France. I recieved an updated delivery date, which has also come and gone, just to find out that my parcel is still in France for some unknown reason.
I've had 4 different customer service staff members email me on the one thread, why it can't remain with one I'm not sure!
The excuse given was that my zipcode didn't match my address, it did.

incompetent time wasters to say the least keep giving dates for delivery and because you have nothing better to do like go to work and pay the bills you stay home to accept the package that they can't be bothered or are far too incompetent to deliver as they were payed to do one star is far too much for this waste of space company

FEDEX Ireland (another horror story with this useless Company)

FEDEX "Your package will be with you on Friday."

ME: It wasn't.

FEDEX: Your package will be with you today (Monday) by 6pm, by a trusted partner.

ME: It wasn't.

FEDEX: Your package will be with you today, Monday, by the end of the day.

ME: It's still not here and I've now sat at home waiting since Friday. You are incompetent time wasters and I don't know who your trusted partner is, but I don't trust them. My package has been in Blarney (2 hours away) since Friday. This is ridiculous.

AWFUL company for deliveries in…

AWFUL company for deliveries in Ireland. Package sent from Germany on December 23rd, due for delivery December 27th. Then lost somewhere in NL. Then found again and scheduled for delivery Jan 6th via a 'trusted courier'. Now back in a 'local' Fedex facility (In Blarney, Cork, for delivery to Wexford!) No reason given for return by 'trusted courier' and re- scheduled for delivery Jan 7th.... No information given - and online bot is useless.

Terrible customer service from FedEx

FedEx say my parcel was delivered on a particular day
Yet I know 100% it was Not .
I got a message saying parcel delivered , so I called back to my house shortly after to bring it in , however there was NO parcel there . So I’m 100% sure no parcel was delivered .
I contacted fed ex , they have provided no proof it was delivered. They talked to driver who said he delivered it and then they closed my case . Appalling way to treat customer whose parcel they definitely Lost .
