While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. Created with AI, based on recent reviews
Feefo operates as a closed platform, meaning we ensure that only verified customers—those who have actually used a product or service—can leave reviews. This approach helps maintain the credibility and reliability of the feedback you see on our site. In contrast, open platforms allow anyone to submit reviews, which can sometimes lead to less reliable or biased feedback. We believe that by verifying customers, we offer a more accurate reflection of user experiences.

"You said: are Feefo reviews reliableYes, Feefo is a legit, well-established reviews platform founded in 2006, but it has notable flaws. While it authenticates that reviewers are genuine customers, the platform has faced regulatory scrutiny regarding how it handles and moderates negative feedback.Core LegitimacyVerified Purchases: Unlike some platforms where anyone can leave a review, Feefo only allows feedback from shoppers who are verified to have completed a transaction. This heavily limits bots and fake reviews.Open Moderation: Brands pay Feefo to collect reviews. While this ensures honest feedback, critics and independent watchdogs point out that businesses can use Feefo's moderation tools to dispute or suppress negative reviews, which can skew ratings.Industry ScrutinyIn March 2026, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) opened an official compliance investigation into Feefo. The investigation is examining whether certain 1-star reviews were unfairly moderated or hidden from star ratings, which could prevent consumers from getting an accurate picture of a business.Bottom LineFeefo is a genuine company that collects real-world customer experiences. However, like many paid business-to-business review platforms, its scores may lean slightly positive, as companies have the power to flag and challenge negative feedback.AI responses may include mistakes. Worse than 1 star, why is there no zero?
I bought a slimline dishwasher from AO.com which I actually do like, and wanted to give it a good review and also mention some interesting quirks which would be beneficial to the purchaser, but I could see no way of leaving a review, so I rang AO, who spent 20 mins on the phone and eventually I found out later that they'd handed over their reviewing to "Feefo". I contacted Feefo, I had to fill in a form with proof of purchase and was told that I'd receive an invitation to review within 48 hours. Nothing happened. After 2 weeks I contacted them again, and instead of an explanation or apology I just got sent a repeat form, and the same thing happened, no link no reply. I tried a third time and couldn't believe that the same thing happened again. I tried one more time but this time threatened them with a bad review and I received a link.
I wrote the dishwasher review, it was positive, 4 stars, with a recommend to buy, but cause it had a few quirks listed IT WAS NOT ACCEPTED. I was furious. They seem to be making sure that nothing other than praise is accepted with no other mentions. I'm going to vote with my wallet and will be very unlikely to buy from AO again or anywhere else that uses Feefo.
Feefo were given multiple chances, all I wanted to do was to leave a simple honest dishwasher review.
I will not be removing this review.
Eric.
Won’t even allow you to tell the truth on the review, what’s the point in having an review website if you won’t allow what happened
“Good news only” accepted here.
Whenever I write an honest review on Feefo giving a one star or two rating for the product or service in question plus constructive feedback, it always seems to get rejected. Therefore assume only 'Good News' reviews accepted.
Well done Cotswold Hoburne.
Great holiday, great entertainment, great facilities and great team. Special shout out to the reception team and Evie on the bar who took the time to engage with my son and make his weekend extra special.
Keep up the great work
Used dating site Chatty Romance for about 3 days. Received about 35 'interests' each day. I'm not that ugly but this smelt bad. And when I went on the site to unsubscribe, they ignored it and I still get these intensely annoying messages. PLEASE DON'T GO NEAR THIS SITE for your own sanity. Perhaps the worst one I have ever used.
Company rejected my review for Halfords as it was a one start, I have pasted the rubbish they sent me.
Our moderation team rejected your review for the following reason(s):
Reviews left in the wrong section of feedback form
The feedback about the product and/or service you’re reviewing is in the wrong part of the form.
Don’t worry, though. Get in touch with our Support team via reviewer@feefo.***, to find out more. They’ll let you know if and how you can get your review published too. We’ve got a duty to you, other people, and our clients to make reviews as accurate and useful as possible.

Absolute rubbish, if I could leave no stars it would get no stars. Expensive and totally unreliable late delivery
Another one of these very bad review companies, if you leave a negative review about one of their (what should really be called their customers) review requests they find reasons not to publish it.
Wrote different positive reviews on behalf of Hoseasons. They were never posted for some reason.
Feefo is paid for by the companies and as such they find any excuse to “reject” bad reviews. In my case, a one star review followed by an exact description of my experience was rejected due to the negativity of the review not matching the star rating. They’re right in one sense, I would have given zero stars if I could and I would here as well.
Terrible experience, added a review after a request by Feefo on behalf of AO. Review kicked out for completing the wrong section or some other nonsense reason they gave. Emailed them as I knew that was not correct and they came up with some absurd nonsense that because my review mentioned insurance (which AO tried to sell) as well as the actual product I bought, it was rejected as I had mentioned services. Completely laughable, absolutely ridiculous and verging on scammy practices in my opinion. No faith in Feefo whatsoever after this experience.
Hayley Thomas has been an unbelievable communicator and excelled herself with follow up after communications. She guides you through the complexity of insurance process. Well done. If it wasn't for you, we may have gone elsewhere. An asset to the company she works for. Pat on back for being a kind human being. If her boss reads this. Payrise or relocate her as we'd employ her.
I submitted a 1-star review with written feedback about my experience. I have since received an email stating that my review was published, however the version displayed is showing as a 5-star rating and my written comments are missing.
I did not change my rating or remove my review text. What has been published does not match what I submitted.Effectively, they changed a negative review into a positive one.
I am raising this because it appears there may be an issue with how reviews are being recorded, moderated, or displayed. I would appreciate transparency on how my original submission was handled and why it differs from what is now visible.
Supposed to be verified reviews by people who have brought a product or used a service , enables people to leave 1 star reviews who have never brought anything nor used a service , total lack of credibility allowing disruptors to upset your business.
I'll never trust this company again. They basically work as PR for their clients and censor negative reviews whilst hiding behind their absurd moderation policy.
Be careful with Feefo, as present themselves as independent review platforms like Trustpilot or Google, but in reality may mislead consumers with manipulated or selective reviews.
Some of these platforms appear to promote poor-quality or dishonest businesses while refusing to publish legitimate negative reviews. This creates a false image of trustworthiness and can mislead customers into dealing with companies that are not reliable at all.
In many cases, genuinely good companies do not need artificial reputation management or filtered review systems, because real customer experience naturally reflects the true quality of the business.
Always check reviews across multiple independent sources before trusting any company.
Emailed directly from them regarding a purchase from one of the companies they worked for.
It was a new computer but on set up it was clear the computer had been used elsewhere (already had someone else’s password set up)
Obviously my review was not very good but polite and to the point as customer service were no help at all.
They refused to publish it as they said I’d written review in wrong box……. There was only one box !!!
Like virtually every other review on here, do not trust anything recommended by them. Just sharks!!
Do not trust any of their reviews. I was ripped off by the Barmy Army (who use feefo as their official review page), so I left a 1 star review. They asked me for proof which I sent and now the review has disappeared. Dont trust Feefo and dont trust the Barmy Army
Trust pilot is the genuine true site to judge the trustworthiness of companies. I buy from several companies who big up their feefo score, as some suggestion as to their decency. I haven't received a feefo invitation from any of these companies who include them on their websites for over 5 years now. The feefo policy of making you wait for 4 weeks before requesting an invation means I've moved on and forgotten about the purchase by the time I can interact with it.
Trust pilot is genuine, and real. Feefo are manipulating reality and present a flawed appraisal of trustworthiness as a result.
