Feefo operates as a closed platform, meaning we ensure that only verified customers—those who have actually used a product or service—can leave reviews. This approach helps maintain the credibility and reliability of the feedback you see on our site. In contrast, open platforms allow anyone to submit reviews, which can sometimes lead to less reliable or biased feedback. We believe that by verifying customers, we offer a more accurate reflection of user experiences.

Appalling company. Under government investigation for being so dodgy
Feefo refused to put my 100% truthful review on autotrader who they are in conjunction with. Found out today an investigation is ongoing on with the CMA . The CMA is investigating whether a number of 1-star reviews – which were moderated by Feefo Limited – were not published on Autotrader’s platform, and were not counted towards star ratings, therefore denying consumers a fully rounded picture of other customers’ experiences. If feefo hadn't of blocked negative reviews, I wouldn't have bought my car from R&R Motors Bedford LTD, as they have sold me an unroadworthy car and after 3 days that they are refusing to refund me my money.
****update***
Feefo emailed me as I complained and they told me to take out the part where I said I had rights under the Consumer Act 2015 and that I had contacted the Motor Ombudsman and they would publish it. I wasn't comfortable being manipulated on what i could or could not say. But I did to get my review published and they are still refusing to publish , even after taking out everything they asked of me. I have had no alternative but to complain to the CMA myself.
I recommend that you ignore feefo reviews. I just gave 2, one good and one bad. Guess what? You got it - they published the good review, but not the bad one. Waste of time!
In my experience, the service was very unprofessional. It was extremely difficult to get any meaningful support from customer service, and I spent a long time on the phone without getting my issue resolved. Communication was poor and the overall experience was frustrating. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
I wouldn't waste my time doing a review for Feefo ever again and will never believe any review they publish. I was asked to review a holiday company who act as agents for holiday accommodation. However, due to the fact that I had some negative things to say I received a reply from Feefo stating my review would only be partially published due to some of its content. They only published the parts that were acceptable to them. They didn't publish my 1 star rating or the polite negative comments I put. I wouldn't believe any of their reviews as they don't give the all round picture only what they think are the best bits.

Unwanted e-mails even after unsubscribing for something I never subscribed to in the first place. Also this company is currently under investigation from The Competition and Markets Authority

Don't trust Feefo reviews at all!
They refuse to publish your reviews, both positive and negative for FALSE REASONS.
I had 2 refused for Iceland foods for multiple items for these reasons:
Irrelevant content
Reviews left in the wrong section of feedback form
I literally left reviews for specific items about those specific items!
They didn't even say which reviews the refusals were for, but either way, I left reviews for frozen chicken items and hash browns... and they were honest reviews, most 5 stars, one 2 stars.
And many people say they refuse reviews for various false reasons.
Some only had positive approved, some wouldn't accept critisism.
You cannot trust their reviews at all as they don't publish genuine reviews!
Appalling!

We have had the worst experience ever with Feefo, they ripped us the subscription for a year with 0 value provided and we never knew they were charging us as we never agreed on the contract, and they argued that we never gave them 2-3 months written notice hence the auto contract keep renewing for years until we tell them! Bloody hell! They added absolutely 0 value as not a single time any ac manager got in touch. Such a poor services, stay away from Feefo guys!

We have a very unpleasant experience with WayRentaCar in Antalya. When asked by Feedo to write the review, it was rejected. It looks they accept only the positive reviews. Obviously they work for rental companies.

This is truly a terrible platform.
In short, around 70 days ago I bought a car from a seller I found through Autotrader. However, the car turned out to be faulty, so I returned it. Initially, the dealer said they would fix it, but afterwards they kept stalling me with various excuses. Because of this, I had no choice but to escalate the matter to the relevant authorities. I filed a court claim and won the case.
As of now, even after approximately 70 days, I have still not received either my car or my money back.
Due to this bad experience, I wanted to leave a review for this dealer on Autotrader. Unfortunately, Autotrader works with this useless platform called Feefo. No matter what I do, I cannot get my review published. They keep removing it for various reasons and fail to clearly explain why.
At first, they deleted my review claiming that since the matter had been escalated to legal authorities, I could not leave a review during an ongoing court process. However, even after the court case was concluded, and it was proven with a court judgment that I was in the right — and despite me sharing this evidence with them — they still refused to publish my review. They say this is part of their internal procedures.
If it is, this is an extremely unreasonable rule, as it effectively hides real customer experiences from other users, even when those experiences have been confirmed by a court decision.
Afterwards, I submitted another review without mentioning the court case, and it was removed again. When I tried to contact them, their customer service representatives didn’t even seem capable of basic communication — they couldn’t even properly greet in their emails, let alone provide clear responses. They failed to give proper answers to my messages.
It feels like they remove genuine customer reviews based on dealer requests, as if they are afraid of them. I hope Autotrader stops working with this ridiculous company as soon as possible.
They are truly beyond terrible.

Absolute joke of a website. They conveniently removed most important part of my feedback to make it look better and then posted it of course but this what they posted is an actual lie (as what they removed was a key information). Do not trust them under no circumstances.

We recently purchased a Hyundai i10 automatic from Clipstone Park Car Sales, and I can’t recommend salesman Shaun highly enough.
We found the car on AutoTrader and left a message late one evening. Shaun rang us back immediately, and we arranged to meet him the following day to view the car. From the very first contact, he was incredibly friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable.
Shaun was fantastic with my son and gave him so much confidence. He encouraged him to take the car out for a test drive, happily sitting next to him, offering reassurance and plenty of praise. The whole process felt informative, calm, and very reassuring.
A week later, Shaun personally delivered the car to our home. He helped set up the tax, explained all the paperwork clearly, and talked us through the service history and previous owners in a very professional manner.
Overall, Shaun made my son’s first car-buying experience genuinely brilliant. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car.

they claim to be a true review website from real people, yet they manipulate your review and make it far more favourable for the company. I merely stated my washing machine was faulty and unusable and gave it a 1 star yet they deled what I stated and changed it to a 3 star review. do not trust Feefo!

“It is a platform that collects reviews on behalf of various companies from which you may have made purchases.” Thats how they introduced their company. My experience tells me - They are totally dishonest, manipulated and bent the fact to hide the true criticisms.
I had received 2 emails to write my reviews after a purchase for 2 companies. One said my review was in the wrong column and not published. The other one said I had not yet received the product so ignored my comments !! If you are committed to fairness and transparency like you claimed, simply publish everything on the purchasers review !!
The companies would not receive the true reflect on their products and services. Save your breath. What a Time waster!!
Reply : I am not wasting one more minute to deal with companies like yours. 87% not 5% of your reviews here is 1 stars explained it all !!

This Feefo review company is totally rigged, and it's done so blatantly.
I was sent an email from them, asking me to write a review for my experience with Laptops Direct.
I gave them 2/10 and wrote a long explanation, detailing my reasons.
I instantly received and automated email saying that they had rejected my review. They couldn't even have read it. Their algorithm simply detects a low score and rejects the review according to that.
I edited the wording of the review, but received another email of rejection. Just because the score I gave was low.

If you leave a bad review of a company, as I did for Buyitdirect, Feefo will reject the review, giving arbitrary internal policy reasons. I suspect if I left a good review, none of these bureaucratic reasons would apply.
You cannot edit the review to comply with their arbitrary bureaucratic hurdles. But you can contact their support team via email to begin a process to get the review edited to their satisfaction. I haven't done this, as I don't want to waste anymore time on this than I already have. Judging by other reviews, it would be a waste of time anyway. The point is to create an exasperating process that will inevitably cause a sensible person to admit defeat and give up.
In short, Feefo has delivered for it's client Buyitdirect, by creating bureaucratic friction which lowers bad reviews protecting Buyitdirect from legitimate criticism.

Helping BAD companies trick future customers. In this case it’s British Airways. I’ve received no review link for my experience. Had to formally request one. Companies can cherry pick who responds. Trustpilot much better.

I am extremely disappointed with Feefo. They allow fake reviews to be posted without any verification, which completely undermines trust in their platform. This is directly affecting my business and sales, as potential customers are being misled by false feedback. A review system that doesn’t verify authenticity is harmful for both businesses and consumers.
