Abc boat hire Alvechurch

We had a fantastic day on a day boat hire from Alvechurch with ABC boat hire. The staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, making our day on the canal a really fun day. Thank you 😊

They 'moderated' my review of a company…

They 'moderated' my review of a company that I gave 2-3 stars to with some explanation for the reasons why.

Instead, they changed it to 5 stars, completely deleting all words. That's not moderation. That is complete falsification, and put my name against a review that I do not endorse.

Shameful.

Freefo. Why do they exist?

What is the point of having a review site that caters primarily for the needs of the companies providing goods and services? There will be a natural bias. To give an example the company I was searching was not found upon searching Freefo. That will be because the company is so badly reviewed on other sites that they presumably don’t want to invite bad reviews on Freefo. I want to leave a review but can’t. What a pointless site!

My negative review of Halfords was blocked by Feefo claiming it was because I hadn’t received the goods. At no point had a said that. When I replied they then gave another reason. Clearly they will only publish good reviews and hide bad reviews.

Feefo is a Rigged Review Platform — Enabling Businesses Like Pure Ventilation to Bury Legitimate Complaints

I recently submitted a negative review about Pure Ventilation, a company that has provided me with shocking customer support and outright dismissive service. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t align with the glowing reviews I saw online — and now I understand why.

Pure Ventilation uses Feefo, a review platform that promotes itself as trustworthy and verified, but in reality seems to manipulate public perception by selectively publishing reviews. My review, which was fair, factual, and simply detailed my poor experience, was rejected without explanation. Feefo’s system is clearly designed to protect businesses from criticism — not to inform customers.

What’s worse, Pure Ventilation has no physical address listed on Google Maps, meaning they cannot be reviewed via Google — one of the few open and unfiltered platforms remaining. This seems to be a deliberate strategy to avoid transparency and prevent negative feedback from surfacing.

In effect, Feefo enables businesses to curate a one-sided reputation by:
• Rejecting or filtering out negative reviews, even if legitimate.
• Offering no transparent explanation or appeal process.
• Only showing “invited” reviews — effectively removing the voice of genuine customers who weren’t hand-picked to leave praise.

This is not a review platform. It’s a PR tool masquerading as credibility.

If you’re a consumer, be aware: Feefo does not reflect the true customer experience. If you’re a business, and you care about honest feedback and improving your service — stay far away from platforms that operate like this.

And if you’re considering a purchase from Pure Ventilation, be warned: You may only be seeing the part of the story they want you to see.

Feefo removed my negative review

Feefo removed my negative review on cottages.com stating that it wasn't an accurate assessment of the event. I have photographic evidence of the state of the house and my review was 100% factual. I won't trust any site that uses Feefo in the future!

My negative review of enjoy travel was…

Hilarious, just look at when they respond to my review. Bunch of cowboys. One of their reps was shouting very bravely down the phone at the time. The delay in responding as well as the "not or problem" tone, tells you all you need to know about these gangsters

My negative review of enjoy travel was responded to, by enjoytravel, trying to claim Trustpilot reviews were unreliable. Feefo emailed me after the car rental for feedback, so I left similar negative feedback through THEIR link & guess what! Feefo refused to post my feedback on the basis it was in the wrong section (even though I posted it through the link they sent me!!!) The reply I got from feefo was signed off on by guess who? Enjoytravel

Caravan with hot tub (not lodge)

Primley meadow park was part of Whitehall county park caravan site. The facilities were good. We were lucky with great hot weather so the outdoor pool was a lovely addition (just shame it closed at 6 ) the caravan which was classed as a lodge when booking was for 6 with 3 smallish bedrooms 2 are singles but not equipped for 6 as only 4 chairs indoor around table and outdoor table was only for 4 too. Big fridge and freezer god send in the hot weather.
Hot tub would have never fitted 6 people. 2 separate toilets and 1 shower. The site was immaculate clean. Wished we had more time to explore. Good location but lanes are treacherous to walk through so used car. We would return but would need a bigger caravan if more of us.

FEEFO must accept all reviews

Feefo asked for a review on curry's LG Freezer whereby you could not open the door on it. However Feefo did not publish it. Feefo wants good reviews only. Feefo cannot be trusted.

Platform can’t be trusted…

Update:
It’s taken Feefo 240 days to reply to my review on here, and what a disingenuous reply it is! Complete balderdash!

I was asked by suppliers if purchased from to submit 2 reviews. The first was rejected by Feefo. The second was edited and partially published.
a) What happened to free speech?
b) The reviews cannot be relied upon to be an accurate reflection of events.
c) There has to be an invitation arising from a purchase to make a review. Therefore, no subsequent customer service reviews allowed.

Terrible review platform

Terrible review platform. Asked me to write a review for Curry’s. When the review was not what they expected it to be, they wrote back to me informing me they could not publish my review as I had mentioned pricing. I simply stated my washing machine had arrived scratched due to being unpacked on the street first, before being hand balled in by two gentlemen. Our CCTV even captured them hitting post, then wall on way in. I finished review by stating, not at all what I expected after paying an extra £35 for premium delivery.

Feefo must be a paid service that brands use to make them look better. What’s the point in a review service that prevents freedom of speech.

feefo or faffo

18 months after buying a Beko product we are very happy with I was asked to write a review. The product is very good and gave it 4 stars from a possible 5 and said I'd buy an other one in future. It's not perfect so I highlighted a few design faults. Feefo butchered the review dumping over 95% of it and took a several hundred words down to 'I have no issue with Beko. I did say that though and I don't.

On feefo.com in about us it claims ' .... Cawley was inspired to design Feefo. His vision was to offer businesses an independent, unedited platform for genuine customer-supplier dialogue, enhancing online trust and transparency." End quote.

That's not what feefo is doing. I have asked them to remove my six word review.

I wouldn't suggest anyone believes a word that's on feefo.

I will likely submit a complaint to the information commissioners office as it's very misleading.

I used the positive Feefo reviews when I decide to take out a subscription with Great Magazines - what a mistake! I have tried to put a genuine review on Feefo to warn others of my experience and it is impossible to work out how to do it!

Poor and untrustworthy excuse for a review site.

Clearly a site companies use to scam consumers into thinking they are trustworthy and highly rated when in actuality the company makes it next to impossible to provide reviews.

One of the criteria is that reviews must be 4 weeks after the experience. This eliminates most consumers who would prefer to post immediately whilst their experience is fresh as opposed to forgotten. A typically scammy business tactic they will pose as a usp.
