Edit: Still a bit of a weird approach, but after some emails and a donation on ko-fi, I got a number and it seems to work. Definitely not the best experience, but likely no scam. So if you need a number for verification, you can certainly give this a try.

Short story: This might be a scam.

Longer story:
Wanted to get a number for ChatGPT verification and since it seemed to be an option I wanted to do it in a secure way via PayPal.

To do that an agent called Asik wanted me to set up a Patreon, which I declined, since that is what PayPal is for, and I don't need an extra account. He provided me with a mail address to send the 3$ to, but it didn't go through on PayPal. No clue why.
He then told me to write to the support, and they told me to tip someone on ko-fi.com the 3$. Not sure if that was legit, I wrote on the webpage's chat again.

This time with Michelle, who I went through the same conversation with, but she would not give me an email for PayPal nor confirm that that ko-fi stuff was OK.

She then brought back Asik into the chat, who did not write a single word and ghosted me.
Now, slightly annoyed and without a number to use, I think that it may have just been a scam attempt.

I got banned and wanted to create a new account without buying a new sim card. Worked super well, just use a new email and a new device.

Only after I issued payment was there the greatest hard-on rush to use the OTP. Expecting to see the code issued to the site, I was confused nothing appeared. It seemed attributable to an error till the FM chat agent disclosed it. This confusion is avoidable had the passover process been defined in the help/FAQ section at FM. At the target site I plugged in the code then received the 'Success!' confirmation. Having the powers of buying a legit OTP for a couple bucks is value in my mind.

The company is a life saver and honestly worth the money! They have lightning fast support and will work with you and keep helping you until it works, I had a issue with verifying and they gave me new numbers until it did work, this did take a few hours but that wasn't their fault and they were with me the whole way!
