Sidney was amazing. I sent him a list of things I'd like to see during my visit to Nairobi and he personally crafted an itinerary that not just hit all the spots I wanted to go to, but that also felt leisurely and relaxed. He also took care of all the transportation for the week I was there. I really couldn't have asked for a better trip! I highly recommend if you're looking for a bespoke itinerary!

Went on a safari as I had a couple of days to spare before heading back home. Found Fernweh through my network and I’m glad I did. Sidney did a great job organising a day tour around Nairobi, which included Nairobi National Park, Giraffe Center, Elephant Sanctuary, and lastly a visit to Kazuri Beads. Very good overall!!

Sidney from Fernweh Safari organized a fantastic trip for us. We stayed at a charming lodge and were provided with great cars and drivers. What’s great about Sidney is his commitment and reliability. On top of that, he’s a really nice guy.

This was the perfect safari experience for our family! Our guide was very knowledgable and shared lots of interesting facts about the animals! We saw lots of zebras, rhinos, giraffe up close as well as a wide variety of other animals. We have 2 small children (age 2 and 5). Our guide went at the perfect pace for them, giving them lots of time to see and appreciate the animals. Thank you!

My family did a safari with these guys in Nairobi and it was absolutely fantastic. We got to see countless animals - lions, crocodiles, rhinos, hippos, a cobra - and Tindi, our driver, was brilliantly knowledgeable and seemed to have a nose for where to go to see the best of the sights. It was a long morning, a good few hours, but it absolutely whizzed by and my 8yo and 11yo were entertained from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend it more.

My girlfriend and I did an 8-day trip with Fernweh Safaris (Nakuru – Mara – Coast) and it honestly couldn’t have gone better. Everything was super easy and relaxed.

Each place had its own vibe. Nakuru was a nice slow start (great views, chill drives), the Mara was insane (so many animals, felt like National Geographic), and the beach days at the end were exactly what we needed to just switch off.

The Fernweh team really had it together. Pickups on time, good places to stay, and the whole trip felt like it actually fit us. Not one of those stiff, over-planned tours.

If you’re looking for a Kenya trip that’s smooth but still feels personal, this is it. Would 100% do it again.

We did an 8-day bush and beach safari with Fernweh Safaris and it was hands down one of the most incredible travel experiences we’ve ever had.

From the first message, everything just felt easy. The communication was super clear, super friendly, and never pushy. You could tell they actually care about getting things right, not just selling you a package.

The trip itself was so well planned. We started with a few days in the Mara and ended with some well-deserved beach time in Diani to wind down. Everything flowed perfectly and we could actually relax and enjoy every moment.

Fernweh Safaris planned and started my family trip in Nairobi. It was our first stop and first time in Africa and the level of dedication and detail that went into planning was amazing.

I was well informed of everything, from what we would we doing on which days, to the times for pickup, drop off and estimated tour times. Food selection spots were on point. I thoroughly enjoyed the food from all the places my family and I visited. The guides were perfect, knowledgeable, friendly, polite and just great to be around. They made the trip, though quite short, very enjoyable!

We wanted to visit Bomas, which was planned for us but was closed unexpectedly on the day of visit to accommodate renovations being done and the team worked effortlessly (what it seemed like to me) to try and find other options in a timely manner that would help to still experience Nairobi’s culture. My family and I appreciated this so much and the communication was spot on!

I would highly recommend Fernweh to anybody who needs a little help planning or who doesn’t want the stress of planning. Allow them to take your troubles away and make it an easy and enjoyable experience for all. I also thought the prices were reasonable.

I had a great experience with Fernweh Safaris on my recent 10-day trip in Kenya. Everything was planned super smoothly, from the safari part to the beach, it all flowed perfectly. I didn’t have to stress about anything because they thought of every detail.

The places we stayed were great, the guides were super friendly and knowledgeable, and the whole trip had a really nice balance of adventure and relaxation. Also, the price was really reasonable for what we got, totally worth it.
