The ferry we booked was cancelled
The ferry we booked was cancelled. However, your company did not inform us at all about this cancellation. We were just waiting at the port in vain. Finally, some other travellers advised us to try to board another vessel. They accepted us and so we reached our destination. However, a reimbursement request was rejected by the company.
After we wrote this review we received a reaction from Paleologos Travel that information about cancellation or change of schedule is provided by the ferry company, when contact data (tel.nr, mail address) are correct. As far as we can see this data was correct. However, we never received any notification about cancellation of the ferry. It was pure luck that we met people who advised us to try the other vessel. Now, the ferry company is not addressable; the booking has been done through Paleologos Travel, so for us this is the only company that we communicate with, and that is responsible for executing the service that is paid for. The reimbursement of the difference in ticket price is a minor issue; it would just show the level of service. We truly hope that in future events the company that sells the tickets, receives the money and is the direct contact with the customer, takes the responsibility that the customer receives what he has paid for, and in case of exceptional circumstances, like in this case, provides this service. If they say that the ferry company should inform customers about schedule changes, then the travel agency should take care that this happens. Still, for the customer, he can only refer to the travel agency.

We would like to clarify that notifications regarding schedule changes or cancellations are issued directly by the ferry company. Provided that the correct mobile number has been entered in the reservation, the ferry company is responsible for contacting its passengers with the relevant operational updates.
Regarding your case, you contacted us about the cancelled sailing on 15 August, and our team informed you that the refund process would be completed within the following week.
For this reason, we do not understand the negative assessment of our service. From our side, as a travel agency, we have assisted you throughout the entire process, from the initial booking through to your refund request.
We therefore feel that this rating does not fairly reflect the service provided by our agency and kindly ask you to reconsider it based on the actual assistance and support you received from us.

Perfect way to go to Kalymnos from Kos
Nice boat not too big. On the deck beware of the waves if you seat close to the water or you will get wet but it is fun!

Regarding the €10 Booking & Support Fee, this is a separate service charge from the ferry fare. It covers the services provided through our platform, including secure transaction processing, system operation and maintenance, continuous improvements, and customer support before and after booking.
The fee is displayed separately after the selected seats have been priced and remains visible throughout the booking process until payment is completed.
