What an exciting couple of months!
What an exciting couple of months! I just had a one on one coaching call with Daniel and I learned so much that I am probably not going to sleep tonight! As of today, I've had the pleasure of sitting in on live coaching calls with each of the bootcamp coaches and both Karla and Roy and everyone is so great that I can't even pick a favourite! (Although I do think Roy is my spirit animal!) Thanks for all of the support everyone. I am looking forward to a future of freedom with FPA.

Daniel reviewed my blurb on a live call. He made several great suggestions! I worked on the blurb some more, implementing his recommendations. I submitted it again and Daniel said it was good to go! It was my first live call with any coach and Daniel made it a great experience. 😊

First time one-on-one Coaching with Michelle S.
I had my first one-on-one coaching call with Michelle S. today. It was such a breath of fresh air. Michelle helped me walk through some worry I was going through and made an actionable plan of next steps I can employ in the FPA process to continue to market and launch my books. I am really grateful for her honesty, kindness and calmness in my call. Thank you so much, Michelle.

I can’t say enough about Coach Daniel
I can’t say enough about Coach Daniel. He’s funny, patient, and incredibly supportive. He knows FPA and all the programs we use inside and out, and he’s always quick to help when I hit a snag. He’s simply delightful, and I look forward to working with him again. Thank you!
Writing a good blurb was a nightmare
Writing a good blurb was a nightmare, but Daniel kept throwing me back into the fire to try again. No punches pulled, he gave his honest opinion and constructive criticism time and again. When he finally approved my blurb, I felt like I had really accomplished something. Thank you!
This program is nothing that was…
2.5 rating. This program is not all that was promised..better to work with a smaller boutique publisher that can help you the whole way through.

Daniel Williams is an incredible coach
Daniel Williams is an incredibly grounded and supportive coach, and very knowledgable about what he does. When I was really stuck and at a crossroads and unsure how to move forward, he gently brought me back from spinning out, helped clarify and then ground me in my choice, and gave me a specific path forward to execute it. I can't thank you enough, Daniel.
The $7,800 FPA Bootcamp Tuition Was Only the Beginning
The program repeatedly teaches participants that approximately **30,000 words is an acceptable minimum length for a novel**, which helps make its aggressive publishing schedule appear more achievable to inexperienced customers.
However, during a live call, the owner gave me very different guidance when I specifically discussed the level of income promoted by the program.
She told me that, realistically, if I wanted to earn the kinds of income being discussed, I should be producing manuscripts approximately **75,000 to 90,000 words long**.
That distinction is extremely important.
A prospective customer can enter the program believing that the business model involves producing relatively short 30,000-word novels every three to four weeks. Yet when I sought guidance about actually reaching the higher levels of publishing income used to demonstrate the opportunity, I was told directly by the owner that substantially longer 75,000-to-90,000-word books were what I should be producing.
This dramatically changes the amount of work involved.
The program is marketed to people who often have little or no previous fiction-writing experience. These participants are therefore expected to somehow produce commercial novels every three to four weeks while being told that the books may technically be as short as 30,000 words, but that substantially longer manuscripts may be necessary if they want to pursue the financial results promoted by the program.
Producing a 75,000-to-90,000-word novel every three to four weeks is itself an enormous workload. Participants are simultaneously expected to revise and format the manuscript, obtain a cover, conduct ARC campaigns, pursue large numbers of early Amazon reviews, maintain an author newsletter, participate in newsletter swaps and BookFunnel promotions, maintain reader magnets and subscriber lists, create and monitor Facebook advertising, and begin producing the next book.
If participants cannot personally maintain that production schedule, they must rely heavily on paid AI tools or outsource substantial portions of the work to ghostwriters, virtual assistants, advertising specialists, designers, or other contractors.
Those costs come on top of the **$7,800 Bootcamp tuition** and the numerous recurring subscriptions required to implement the publishing system.
For that reason, I believe the combination of the program's **30,000-word minimum messaging, three-to-four-week publishing schedule, low-time-commitment messaging, and promotion of substantially higher income possibilities** creates a misleading impression of how much labor and continuing financial investment may actually be required to pursue those results.
Had I understood before purchasing the Bootcamp that pursuing the promoted income levels could mean attempting to produce **75,000-to-90,000-word novels every three to four weeks**, while simultaneously managing advertising, newsletters, ARC campaigns, subscriber growth, promotions, reviews, and numerous recurring paid services, I would have evaluated this opportunity very differently.
I did not simply purchase the Bootcamp and fail to participate.
I attended the live coaching calls, followed the training, worked consistently, and published books on the aggressive schedule the program taught. I made a serious effort to implement the business model rather than treating the program casually.
Despite that level of participation and output, and despite publishing seven (almost 8) full-length novels plus a lead magnet novella, my entire catalog is still generating only a few dollars per day (as in $2-4 dollars per day).
I followed the system far more extensively than someone who merely completed a few lessons or published one book, yet the financial outcome has not come remotely close to justifying the $7,800 tuition or the additional expenses required to follow the program.
When I later tried to obtain a refund after full participation in the 6 month program, I was not dealing directly with the owner or coaches who had sold and promoted the Bootcamp. Instead, I was referred to a dedicated refund specialist whose role was to handle refund requests.
That specialist told me there was **no monetary refund available at all for the $7,800 Bootcamp tuition**.
This was especially frustrating because the Bootcamp was the highest-cost part of the program, yet after I had already paid thousands of dollars, followed the training, attended live coaching calls, and worked to publish books on the aggressive schedule being taught, I was told that there was no monetary refund option for that tuition.
Anything someone is trying to sell that has no monetary refund is shady. You have to wonder why
