The Wakaya Spa and Club was a dream.
My only complaint was the housekeeping services. The room was not properly cleaned.
Otherwise perfect.

Melissa was super helpful. Wakaya misrepresented it's golf course. It's in terrible shape and is not worth playing. Our accommodations in the big house on Wakaya were great. However, AC did not work in many of the areas of the house, and they were unable to get it working. Loved the resort and the staff, absolutely wonderful. Had a great time there. Food needed to be varied up more than it was.

We had a fabulous experience with Fiji Vacations.Melissa Pomeroy was great. My wife and I traveled to Bora Bora for our 20th anniversary in May 2021. We started planning our trip and working with Melissa in October 2020.Melissa provided us with multiple itineraries always being mindful of our budget as well as our wishes. She was there every step of the way answering all our questions and keeping us posted of the ever changing COVID-19 protocols. Ultimately we had a dream vacation of a lifetime. We are completely satisfied with Melissa's level of service and attention to detail. We highly recommend Fiji Vacations. Thank you Melissa for putting together our dream vacation!

We had an amazing experience with Fiji Vacations! We started working with Melissa in January of 2020 to plan our honeymoon to Fiji in July 2020. When COVID hit and Fiji closed its borders, she kept us updated with all of the information she could find. She also found alternatives for us when Fiji remained closed in July 2020. We didn't end up taking our trip as we originally planned, but postponed to summer of 2021 instead. Fast forward... Fiji still didn't open by then! Melissa worked with us tirelessly for over a year to plan our dream honeymoon. We ultimately ended up transferring to French Polynesia which was AWESOME! Melissa helped us every step of the way and has the patience of a saint! While we were in French Polynesia, we found ourselves giving advice/expertise to other couples because of how much Melissa had provided to us. She booked us exclusive excursions and told us about places that others had not heard of. She really is an expert of all of the places she books! We can't recommend Melissa and her services enough. When Fiji does open its borders she will be the first person we call! :)

Our recent trip to French Polynesia was everything we had hoped it would be and more! It was so hard to leave our last destination which was Bora-Bora and return to reality. We are so grateful to our travel agent Melissa Pomeroy at Fiji Vacations. Everything was taken care of down to the littlest detail. We were greeted at the airport in Tahiti and taken by chauffeur to the ferry boat which we took to Moorea. Our beach front bungalow at the Sofitel was absolutely perfect. The Sofitel resort could not have been more beautiful and the staff was so friendly. The ocean was clear and teal colored. Just gorgeous! We then had transfers to the airport in Moorea and flew to Bora-Bora. Upon arrival in Bora Bora, once again, we had transfers in our own private boat over to the Bora-Bora Le Pearl Resort. Our over the water bungalow was unbelievably amazing! The views were stunning! The water had three shades of teal! There were kayaks and paddleboard‘s for our daily use. There was a swim up bar with very friendly staff. We also had a delicious breakfast buffet and five-star meals for dinner. The resort was 10 stars in our book! The staff was so friendly and we hated to leave. They really aimed to please! We would take this trip again in a heartbeat and have recommended it to all of our friends and family. We have also shared so many unbelievably gorgeous photos. In closing, we learned thank you in Polynesian and that is Mah-Roo-Roo so maruru Tahiti and Fiji Vacations... until next time 💕

We recently returned from Tahiti in January. This was the first time we had used a travel agent and we were so thrilled. The wealth of knowledge Melissa showed saved us so much time in research. She knew all of the travel requirements and helped make the process smooth start to finish. She had personal tips for activities (we loved Rosto’s Lagoon Tour!) and even was able to get our pre paid dinner shifted to a lunch so we could dine at a very special restaurant for our anniversary. The St Regis was perfect for us and we were spoiled by the staff for a week. There were tears when we had to leave. Highly highly recommend this team. We cannot wait to go back!

The whole experience from start to finish was top notch! Melissa went out of her way to create a once in a lifetime travel experience that was tailored perfectly to my needs. She really listened to my wants and concerns and provided A+ service. The trip was a dream come true and Melissa exceeded my expectations! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

What a great vacation it was.The Saint Regis staff was wonderful and very helpful with everything.The Lagoon tour was the family favorite activity along with Rosto great personality. Thank You Melissa for all your hard work!

Tiffany was amazing! She created the perfect trip to celebrate my 50th birthday. She listened to our wish list and tailored every detail of the trip to make our dreams come true. From the suggestions for restaurants and excursions to the thoughtful birthday touches at each resort, she truly guided us to the trip of a lifetime. I have been meaning to write this review for over a year and just hadn't gotten around to it. Today as we reminisced about our trip again I immediately sat down to give credit where credit is due. We booked our trip in January- Pre-CoVid! Leading up to this trip has been a wild ride. We had 4 dates along the way and changes in flights, etc. all the way! I am so thankful I booked with Fiji Vacations because through all the date changes, I only had to mess with our flights to LAX and parking details stateside. The suggestion for where to go and all the amenities was sooo good! Finding out where to go for the proper CoVid test to fly to Tahiti was stressful, but we managed to find a facility in Dallas that went over well. Basically had CoVid never happened---there would be nothing but positive praise! Though the travel is different now with some hoops to jump through, the travel agent responded in timely manner. Answered my questions. Highly reccomend booking through this company!! :)

Melissa's repeated patience and reassurance allowed me remain home and not check in to a mental health facility. Excellent communications. I appreciate her resolve and kindness shown..... during a horrible time of travel confusion. Bula vanna'

Melissa was amazing! She put together a perfect Tahiti honeymoon amongst all the COVID chaos. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her services in the future!

Melissa Pomeroy continues to selflessly donate her time to handling all of our volunteers who travel to Fiji and the Solomon Islands to volunteer for our mission work with the Loloma Foundation. It is complex work, managing different flights for over 140 people and she does this work professionally and effortlessly, making sure seats and special meal requests are booked. Thank you Melissa for your service and we look forward to when we can return to our beloved Fiji and the Solomon Islands.

I have been trying since March to get a refund. Melissa canceled my reservation without informing me, saying it was a group reservation and that she didn’t take direction from the individual clients. She said I would have a voucher for travel to Fiji later (if they allow Americans) but won’t tell me the dates for which it is valid (since she won't tell me when she booked the tickets- see below) I gave her $1800 for tickets which cost $1400. She said in March that she would return to the office on June 1 to deal with this (she did NOT say she would not refund my money), but hasn't responded to my emails. She is simply not responding to my emails asking for a refund of the difference. So I am apparently out $1800 for $1400 tickets I was canceled for, while she makes a profit of $400. I really wish I had booked the flights myself.
2nd update: Well thanks. Who knew that posting a review was such an efficient (albeit public) way to get answers to the questions I have been asking since March. Much better than that old fashioned email! same day response and so friendly! I am pleased to know that the extra money will go to the Lomoma Foundation, although perplexed why I wasn't told this in response to my queries three months ago.

A vacation to FIJI is heaven. The people, accommodations, lodging, activities were outstanding. I would gladly recommend such a trip in the future to family and friends.
