I was looking for a pretty basic mySQL solution for a website that I am developing. I found "files.io" through a search and tried the free version. I needed more connections and space so I tried the "Basic" tier. I was pleasantly surprised at the features that are offered at a very reasonable price.

Very easy to get up and running... If for any reason it isn't, they are great at troubleshooting where things might have gone wrong.

First of all, it is cheap, but there is lot's of problems also.
* It's slow, not like MEGA slow, but over average slow
* Support have not answered me not once, I have written to them 3 times. The issue was solved finally, but the issue was that the server was down, so...
* I have used them 3 months, and it was down once in november, for like 2-3 hours. But now, today it is again down, and it has been over 24 hours.

EDIT: I tried to use them once again, but once again, slow connections and queries, we're talking about max 3-5 connections and queries.

Also there is new panel for managing databases and there is more features missing than before, like exporting whole database

Simple DB management.
Support is also good.
Minor improvements can be done, but overal good.

FIless.io is great for small projects or startups. The pricing is relatively cheaper than any other cloud DB (from my knowledge) and it is very easy to use. However, it wasn't suitable for my project since mine requires super admin privileges and Filess.io does not give you that unfortunately. I hope they can sort that out one day.

Filess.io provides a fantastic free tier for their database service. Customer service is excellent, and their interface is simple and straightforward. No experience with any paid tiers to share (yet), but if the free tier is any indication, it's probably excellent as well.

Filess.io's customer service is very very good! They solve problems very fast! They also excel in providing a reliable database service with a reasonable pricing (could be free)!

It is working fast and well. It is one of the cheaper offers out there.

Currently, I don´t have any reason to complain. The subscription and the first database were created within minutes and I was able to access it immediately.

Performance wise there is no problem at the moment. I have created a MySQL Instance for my Ghost blog, it is running very fast.

The other benefit is, that the service is hosted in Germany! That means German/EU privacy and data protection laws!

To sum it up, the offer is too good to be true for the offered price! But it is there and working :)

It takes only few clicks to set up the database. Contact with owner is also good. You can easily ask for help in chat. Best for projects that needs online database.
