I give five star to Filson because I like the style and the fabrics in their garments, also the quality of the finition is very good in their products.

Great design and light enough for sholder seasons

Another 5* experience. There is no Filson store in Ireland so we go to the online EU store and as expected sometimes, an item might not fit or suit perfectly. Filson offers an excellent return policy at very little cost with refunds very quickly. 100% recommended.

To try to give a fair review, I’ll go with the positives first - fast and efficienct service, parcel received quickly, in good order and nicely presented. I love the Filson brand, style and history and have lots of the product. The negatives - the first jacket I received, washed once, according to manufacturers guidance and one of the back seams opened, the stitching was not finished properly. Contacted Filson, very quick response and jacket returned with efficient refund. Decided that I loved the fit of the jacket and style and that this must be a one off problem. Again the jacket was received quickly, nicely packaged and love the style. I have worn it now for two weeks, the dye comes out on my jeans, after my last experience, I decided to hand wash the jacket, but the dye still comes out on clothing. Today I decided to was on a quick wash to see if that would solve the dye issue - unfortunately, right at the top of the same seam as last time, the stitching is showing signs of not holding. Really sad, I love the fit, the style, the company, the material is strong as iron, but the stitching quality is just not there. There is no other jacket of this style by other companies, I have never had these issues before with this brand, I have products 20 years old, yet this jacket cannot survive one wash….
