Plan did exactly what it said it would in my time of need. Ran into car issues and they were able to quickly dispatch a tow truck, getting my car to the shop. Was later able to submit a claim and within a week or two I received reimbursement for the majority of my car repairs. Exactly what I needed, great product!

Do not under any circumstances use this company. They are crooks and affiliated with other lending companies that automatically charge over $800 to add this company to your loan. They refused to send a refund through a different method than Canada post even though Canada post is on strike.

I will start by saying this was the WORST customer service experience in my life.
First off, I have used this service before and if I were to have rated the review on previous use, they probably would have received at least a 4 star review from me as I rarely give a 5 star out. They were quick and efficient in the past. What happened this time, I have no idea, but not 1 person was on board with what was going on with ANY policy that should be in place. If they were, I wouldn't have had such a crap experience.
My car broke down and I needed a tow. I called and was told they would call me back when they had someone. This was the usual protocol from my previous experience. However, when they called me back they told me it was going to cost me out of pocket $200 to have my car towed from where it was to where I wanted it. Which was about 36 KM. I was also not told they only cover $150, but I now know. (Apparently in the past, I never surpassed this total). When I questioned the cost, I was told it was because of the distance to where I was towing the vehicle. Now take into account this is all happening after midnight, after I have just got off work.
I canceled the tow so I could find a garage closer to tow the car to. So I order another tow and then they tell me it is STILL going to cost me an additional $200! and I asked WHY NOW? I got a garage that was closer to the car! They said it was because it was after hours. You told me it was because of distance, now it's because of the time? So AGAIN...I canceled the tow and decided to do it in the morning. This is AFTER I have spent almost 2 and 1/2 hours on the phone already and now I have to get up with 4 kids for school in 3 and 1/2 hours. I am not a happy person at this point. Fast forward to the next call...I order the next tow and I AGAIN am told it is going to cost me $200 and we are now in daylight hours and I am about ready to lose my mind on someone. I asked what the extra cost was for NOW? She said she wasn't sure why I was told after hours fees and everything but that wasn't so and it was actually based on the different tow companies and that the one they were using was so far. I told her there was one close to where the car was being dropped. She tried to say that she couldn't get an answer from that one but when I accidentally gave her the wrong number and she hung up and called that number and I called the right number, they had picked up right away. They said that no one had tried to call, and that they would gladly take a call for me. So I waited for her to call back and I gave her the number. She heavily sighed and said she would try again. She was quite rude and annoyed with me. Imagine how annoyed I was by this point! (I told her how I felt about her attitude at the end of the call). She said I could wait on the phone for an update or she could call me back. I asked how long it would take? She said I would get an update every 4 minutes. I said I would wait for the call back. over 45 minutes later she finally called back, still out of pocket of $79, I was finally going to have my car towed. When they took the payment of $79 and I assumed that my car was being taken care of as I was no where near my car at this point. About 45 minutes later a text message says my tow has been canceled? Like WHAT NOW? I call in and ask why is my TOW that I have ALREADY paid for now canceled. So I am now AGAIN informed that the price for my tow has increased ANOTHER $114! AND they aren't going to tow it until I pay the rest! How can you change a price you quoted and is ALREADY PAID? I am beyond angry at this point and asking for a manager, and all I get are excuses that he is busy and can't take my call. An hour later he calls me back saying it isn't their fault, the tow company gave them the wrong quote. well...that sounds like a you problem! You quoted me $79 not $193. And he basically tells me I can pay it or get my money back and figure things out on my own! I hang up and call the Tow company who tell me it's $276 plus tax to tow my car. So ok...the company only covers $150...I call the company back and AGAIN put through and order for a tow...and pay for the $114 extra that I am supposed to pay extra? But wait a minute? These numbers don't add up to me? if my tow was $276 plus tax our tax is 14% that would be $38.64 total cost would be $314.64. Take off the $193 I paid. That only left them paying $121 and change for the tow. SO THEY STILL RIPPED ME OFF!!! AGAIN I HAD TO GET ON THE PHONE for another 20 minutes and call someone to ask if they are supposed to cover $150 why I covered more than my share. Funny how the manager wouldn't come to the phone again and they just gave me a $30 refund! Because they didn't want to deal with me and my questions! Just make sure if there is an out of pocket expense...you call your provider and know what you are paying for! Feels like they are double dipping!

My 17 & 19 kids (who are both on my plan) and 4 months old grandbaby were on interstate 35 with a flat tire. It took an hour to acquire the “necessary” information needed. They called back saying they only fully cover A 30 mile radius, my mechanic was 48 miles away. And they said they couldn’t transport the passengers! They wanted me to pay $149 of a $248 tow service. I told them I’d like to speak to a supervisor. They hung up and didn’t call back. I called them again and asked how I was expected to pay more than them. If it was $248, the hook up fee is $75, $173/48=$3.60 30*$3.60=$108 $75+$108=$183 18*$3.60=$64.88 why am I paying more than that insurance? I paid it, what else am I to do? ON TOP OF IT, the tow company only received a $204 payment! That means the insurance company was only $55 out of pocket andI paid the rest! But when they transferred me to the supervisor only to hang up on me, they actually cancelled the order! This insurance service’s ignorance took 6 hours to get the car off the highway! THANK GOD I ARRANGED FOR MY KISS TO GET OFF THE HIGHWAY! I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone, save your money and prevent a headache and Anxiety!

Membership plan came with free Telehealth calls and this was such a fantastic option to have. Super quick, have used them a couple times and made me realize it was even a better option than the provider through my normal health insurance which would have cost me out of pocket. Love this plan!

This company is a gimmick. They take your money monthly but when you need them for roadside service there is no one in the grea to assist and then be told there is nothing they can do but maybe you can Look into being towed. what a joke on reimbursements as they don't reimburse for the most regular repairs such as tires but rather repairs that often cost more than the vehicle is worth. Save yourself put the monthly payments in a checking for their so call "benefits and solutions" and control how and when your money is used.

SCAM ALERT ‼️ Beware of this scam site. They are dubiously taking monthly payments for their stupid membership program. But whenever you file a claim, it will be outrightly denied. Which means they are just Thiefs using other people to enrich their pockets. It’s their 3rd to 4th time now of declining my claims. THIS IS A PURE SCAM SITE. Beware of FIMC

Communication and Reimbursement
The communication is trash and thats putting it nicely. They dont get back to you about open tickets. If you call for a tow- they take FOREVER to get back to you- if they even decide to call back.

If I could give negative stars I would. The road side assistance is horrible. 30 mile tow they told me a 3 hour wait and would cost an extra $86 bucks. To leave me stranded with my kids. Didn't call us. When I called hey told me it would be an extra $360. $446 plus tax for a 30 mile tow. Talk about price gouging.I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone. FIMC IS A SCAM. There are no real discounts. Just nothing but overpriced services and hidden fees.

Very dishonest and unprofessional.
I have been asking this company to return my money they collected that they didn't pay over to the Tow company, because Saskatchewan is a no fault insurer and they already paid the Tow company. I have to be calling them and it is always a run around. I started talking with a supervisor on phone and follow up on email he admitted to seeing one payment and was going to investigate what happened to the next payment. I went for weeks possibly months without any follow up and my last phone call in July ended with the customer service rep saying supervisor will get back to you in 72hrs it's over 72 days and I'm still waiting.
How many other persons have this company ripped off in circumstances like this. Worst part is they are dragging this out because my coverage will expire soon.

Today Emilio and Teresa in customer service were very unprofessional. I’ve used the service several times before, and had great experiences. Not today. After giving my member ID it still took 24 minutes and 13 seconds to pull my account, again has never happened. They talked over me while trying to explain what was needed. Was hold another 10 minutes after I asked to speak with a supervisor. Then Emilio comes back and say..oh I was doing something wrong..that’s what took so long. I advised that I would hate to be an elder on the side of the road…this took entirely too long to pull up an account. Unacceptable

FIMC's Identity Guard benefit notified me that my SS# was leaked to the dark web, while none of my other monitors detected it. The app stepped me through actions I should take in response. It was easy to use and invaluable at a time when I was panicking. I have many other identity monitoring products via my credit cards, bank accounts, and roadside service that failed to detect and notify me of this critical leak. I'm very grateful for FIMC's Identity Guard benefit!
