I would give the newspaper collection 10/10. It is very helpful and provided a wealth of information. As far as the other records they were helpful, but repeat much of what the other companies offer. There are however some records that the other companies do not offer. I think the family tree could be improved, but overall Findmypast is worth a try.

Very Useful Tool if not always precise
Haven’t always found what I was looking for but several very helpful suggestions.
Feel like I need to be more active on the site to become more proficient using your system. Bit too bright and modern for me.
Verifying information from census records I need a bit more clarification to accept the hint without changing info on my tree eg birth years guessed from census but accurate on my tree from government records.
Love the hints feature, great direction.

It can't find my great grandfather when I enter his details, which are a matter of public record.
Also it nags you to pay for a subscription by restricting features you want to test. In all it was not a satisfactory trial.
